Yes. The stock price moves up or down with the block purchase price.
The 100k minimum block unit must be done at a time by a single buyer, can be more than that but not less.

The price didn't fall, there wasn't just a block move of 100k units to move the price up ni.
Pastor, this is just the disadvantage.....it has its advantage too. By the time it goes up and they're selling at day's low but the price remain unchanged, you'll appreciate the rule.
Do you think Nestle wouldn't have fallen far below where it reversed if not for the 100k rule?

There was an amendment to the contents thereafter when the big caps started distorting the ASI (when there was lull in the market) and thus crashing the prices anyhow.
The 100k block rule was then enforced on all equity irrespective of their class or category as a quick measure to address the anomally and stabilise the ASI I think.

It was in response to a guy who asked if it was okay to pick at 1.27 that time, and it did trade below N1 before reversing, in which I mentioned it to another one to pick below 1.10 when it reversed.
The price is somehow high to me now @ 1.52, though MM or MH like you may push it small or may not. Na Una Sabi. Sterling not on my radar. That doesn't stop me from mentioning if it's good or bad for pick.

Lol. When I told one guy with 10k to go for penny stock cos of the small amount, sterling at below 1.10, Wema below 50kobo, etc. Someone said he should go for big cap instead.
While big caps are good, their movement can be somehow sometimes, cos they get lots of attn from the moneybags.....either to sell or buy.
I hope the guy chose rightly anyway.
