WAPCO is looking for gala now to chop.
JIJORICHY hates stocks that stop to buy gala in traffic, he escapes into one that finished purchasing gala and is heading his way.
He MUST drop from this bus today before 1:00PM,....... grin
Let him jump down from the bus, he will pursue it higher again.......just the way he rushed in @ 10.70 when the driver moved the bus from 8.90. grin

jijo........ I have synthesised and drawn up from your posts what can be described as 'jijo guidelines'........find time during this lockdown to write in details about your jijo technics, observations, dos and donts, realtime examples and general guidelines for those of us interested in learning more...
What a savage response you've got there.....but nevermind, what matter most here is how your portfolio will keep putting smiles on your face.
Since you've drawn up some do and don'ts rules, try and work on it, then develop your own unique strategy on how to maximize your gains as a jijoist. Work on your emotions, it's very important too.
Once you try it and it's not coming forth as expected, just find another way to understand what works best for you.
My layman's contribution. smiley

It's easier for introverts to communicate on faceless forums, so I don't understand what the sister implies.

They would lots of haircut...I see CBN asking banks to shore up their capital
Currently only 2 Nigerian banks can withstand any shock from a crises. Or you have not seen the report.
Wait in coming weeks, when CBN starts hitting them.
That was on ground before covid issue came up.
CBN is expected to relax the plan for now and extend it to a much later date.

300+ cases pere.
Boss, how are we sure the number is even up to 300 and the numbers under watch up to what they're telling us?
Nigerian government will do anything to partake out of the grants and donations circulating around for their selfish gains, and the plan actually worked.
Some Nigerians too can resort to 'arrangee' just to get attention or get into isolation for two weeks, at least they'll be govt's "guests" for those two weeks. grin
Heard of a man whose dad died of rheumatism but begged the doctor in charge to change it to Covid19, by doing this, he and his family would be immediately 'packed up' and moved to isolation centre, at least, two weeks free feeding will be guaranteed for the family. grin
Not saying there are no cases oooo, just trying to look at it from the point of view of corrupt leaders we have and the hunger in the land.
Many households are suffering of hunger due to this lockdown and I agreed with Yoms that people might revolt if this lockdown continues.

In this business, sense is required.
Know that no expert knows it all. Everyone is gambling at different levels. A lot of self appointed experts however use jargons to make themselves appear knowledgeable.
Only you can work your salvation in this business.
The naive ones can work their ways to Golgotha shebi? Well done Mr. Money.
If you go and use "common sense" wey no common na OYO be your case. tongue
FYI, Mr. Common Sense himself got trapped in the United States cos his common sense didn't tell him not to travel before covid lockdown, maybe he thought he'll be safer there. smiley

I have been saying it since last week. If you are yet to enter the market. Keep your CASH.

Things will get worst before normalcy returns. NSE is worst as CBN won't inject a penny. This is not FED!

Next earning season is March 2021...tomorrow you see same people shouting, had I known!
Boss are you saying there wouldn't be interim dividends?
I had to edit my post on Wapco not because I withdrew the comment but because I don't want to argue unnecessarily.

I doubt if any company except Banks wouldrelease good results Q1, We are yet to recover from border closure then Cash crunch and Covid 19 enters the scene..... I would see how the country would come back up and running
It's possible the effect of all these wouldn't even reflect in Q1 but in Q2, that's if the situation persists.
Companies do have a way of generating revenues, especially banks irrespective of economic conditions. Don't be surprised if banks release good Q1 results cos of the highlighted factors self.
People stayed at home and are spending, even more than when they're going out. Banks didn't shut down, they only reduce physical activities. The telecoms biz were/are booming too.
Anyway, we'll see how it goes....

As a good observer, I've noticed that Nsempas don't assist when it comes to things like this. Everyone in need is a "scammer", they'll find one way or the other to avoid such and all gone mute. Please o, I have a question.
Can someone live by doing jijo alone, all year round? Assuming that someone has substantial seed money.
Don't give yourself unnecessary HPB o, 100% jijo is not advisable. There are some months that the prices will just remain somehow 'static".
It's possible anyway but there's more to this..... emotional stability, enough time, etc.

I sent requests to my brokers on Tues, Wed and today to purchase some shares (usually sent btw 11am and 12pm) at a price but they delay for hours and towards close of biz the stock will rise and my requests won't be treated.
I want to request for online access, is it possible to enter my requests online and still send the same request to my broker so that I don't miss out on Tuesday? Will there be an issue if I request and also do same from their end?
Who is your broker to start with?
After they refused to buy the first day, why not call them to register your displeasure?

** To your question, if your broker is an analogue type that doesn't operate digital platform, I'm sorry you have no choice than to be at their mercy, you have to keep sending mandate and just follow it up with calls or visitations to their office if you're close by.
** If you can enter the request yourself, why sending mandate in the first place? That's if they have "trade by yourself platform".

** For the last question, if it's possible for you to send them mandate to buy/sell for you and you still trade yourself, there's no issue than the fact that you will have double of the quantities you wish to buy (should they execute it), that's if you have enough fund to cover it in your acct.

Note:
* Once prices are going up, your brokers too will be much more concerned with accumulating their quantities too, hence their needs and that of their deep pocket customers takes priorities first.
What this means is that your mandate comes second, they may attend to it when the prices have gone up already and 'they're less busy'.
** Open another account with a digital broker so you can trade by yourself, that's IF they don't operate digital trading.(must be with same CHN though).
** If they have digital platform, learn to trade by yourself.
