DON'T FORGET WHAT PRIDE DID.......
Pastor Vee, pls dont go there.
While your "annoyance" may be understandable cos you're in the market already and fund is involved here, pls know that he's assisting us in a way.
Myself once saw those words as taunting people, but when I looked beyond it, it only means and shows he actually cares, trying to help us preserve our funds. I actually got to understand that's his ways of expressing it.
Please, he's an invaluable member here, let's tolerate ourselves and look beyond stone throwing.

Good morning sister mcy,Just wait till 12.30/1pm.
The market was normal by this time yesterday nah.
But not my prayer for this fall to continue.
Well, no one knows what can happen but you know, I said that because of the noise that today will be so bad, so I was thinking most stocks, especially banking stocks will start with full offer, but it wasn't so.
You're among those creating the panic as well. grin
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mcy56(f): 10:31am On Feb 25, 2020
Does it mean all those yesterday's theories of dumping, dow, C19 or whatever just disappeared today?
NSE, wonders shall never end.
Abeg let the Dow observers come and update us o. grin

Go and keep eye on Ucap, maybe the dumping will reach its side and send it below N3.

The problem is not even with the FPIs but that the local investors are not even encouraged to invest in the NSE. The financial illiteracy in the Nation is too high. The number of shareholders in Zenith Bank is not even up to 700,000 out of an adult population of not less than 60m.
Boss, part of the problem is also lack of faith in NSE.
Some got their investments 'eroded' during the meltdown, many of such will never 'touch' NSE even with a long pole.
I was told of a high profiled, wealthy man who was investing in stocks towards his retirement, he worked in the US for several years before joining a firm in Nigeria as one of the partners. He was channeling all his life savings, including that of his wife towards stocks, just accumulating as much as he could before stocks came crashing down in 2008. I actually know him.
Till date, the man is yet to recover fully, if not for his expertise as an engineer in downhole completions that keeps him going, I wonder what would have happened to him by now. You cant even mention NSE to such people again.

That is why I said every Nsempa should look for at least 5m for trading.Imagine every local investor trading at least 5m and our local institutional investors a minimum of 50m.company market makers on their own at least 20m.
Fpi will have no negative impact in our stock market.Instead we are here to derive from them(parasite)
Do you think they won't be rude?
Loco you're right.....but where will everyone get 5M to trade with, with the economic condition of the country and unfavorable policies? It's affecting even the companies, not to talk of individuals.
Anyone that will advice someone to borrow bank loan to trade is a wicked somebody with the kind of trend ongoing now in the market. grin
That's the way I see it sha.
People with huge capital will continue to control the market, that's the irony of it, and this are mostly the FPIs.

I just started going through this thread a few hours ago, I am looking for a financial adviser/stock broker or someone to advice on shares. Can you be of assistance?
Sorry, wouldn't be able to do that.......but we have lots of financial advisers on this forum, you'll register with them with token fees and you get a better service.
As for stock brokers, there are quite some good ones you can register with. You can go for Morgan Capital, they have the lowest charges in the industry and render better brokerage services.

Newbie's in the house, I think it's high time you started looking at other forms of investment, such as mutual funds, money market fund in particular.
Also treasury bills and Fed. Govt bonds.
So you don't have all your eggs in one basket. Just a piece of advice.
Oldbies knows how to play NSE game much better. May God help us.

Its glaring... Local investors may shut their eyes to what's happening on the global stage but foreign investors won't. And as long as they hold a sizeable percentage of stocks on NSE, when they sneeze, NSE catches cold.
Let's trust that good news around this outbreak will come forth soon
Exactly. This is where the bulk of the problem lies. FPIs control our market largely, reason we're always affected at the slightest issue from the global world.
Let's be praying that God intervenes soonest, funds are involved and going to be trapped unless good news surfaces. There's nothing God cannot do.

Ok. Saw this now.
Na wa o. NSE is just too volatile.
Think people needs to start re-strategizing now. One minute everything is fine, the next minute, pandemonium. No stability anywhere again.

There's one thing Oga Rabbi mentioned in the passing in his comments, which we didn't pay much attention to.
He mentioned one "R".....didn't say the full meaning or what it means but just said something about the world order in response to someone who mis-interpreted it, and that they are still watching it.
Also mentioned something related sometimes ago.
If only Oga RabbiDoracle can please help us shed more light on this if he has the info already. This will help us to understand some mystery. This market has been acting irrational lately. This is not only about those in d market, it concerns those outside too.
