Exactly my thought too.
Since this is global and not particular to Nigeria economy, I think the stocks will rise faster once the disease is curtailed.
It's God's anger, we can only continue to pray for mercy.
If only we all can seek the face of God in time like this and not limit it to certain religious group.

I was talking about UBA when the price went down to 6.60/6.65.
Investors are awaiting dividend declaration and there's an expectation that the dividend will be higher than that of last year.
It went up to 7.30 yesterday but closed 7naira today.
Yet to announce the dividend still...............but the recent corona news is sending panic to the market generally.
Why are you not interested in stock exchange investment if I may ask?

What if uba pays less than expected dividend.
Zenith dividend yield was above 10% and the price is still going down.
What do you think will happen if uba final dividend yield is less than 10%.

Boss, like I said, its just my opinion based on my observation.

Folks,stay on Dividends paying stocks. You will be relaxed getting dividends and still have your capital appreciation.
As price falls and it tends to give you a higher DY, keep buying if you have cash. This was same thing that played out around 2016 - 2017 and afterwards end of 2017 was the game changer. I see that repeating again.
Dividends are yielding more than Tbills. So use your tongue to count your teeth.

Well, Wapco sold down to day's low of 13.95 and still closed 15.50 for the 2nd day. Some people picked at 13.95 junction today.
We're awaiting result with expectation of lots of improvement all things being equal.
