I actually think he's rather a SMALL MAN!!!
You don't fight your customer in a public..What I would have expected is simple sorry to the customer, we would do better next time..Just one line and case is close..The rest of us here will take the battle if the clients continue to malign him...Luckily, he has not been accused of scam; just poor customer care and that is EVIDENT even from his response here...To climb ladder hard o, to fall yakata na ABC...
In his line of biz, you will meet all sort of customer ; the impatience, the not so good, the knuckle head, even outright werey client but you have a responsibility to MANAGE them all, and sometimes when you fail because of your own imperfection, you maintain your CALM and DECORUM and not acting like a tout..
A client bought an item worth 200k only from us last week and returned it after 72 hours that she doesn't like it and ask for a refund! The report got to my desk for approval, and I spoke to the client and she was saying rubbish so I rejected it! Later my boss called me and advice that I should approve, not because the client was right but because we have a NAME to protect and we can afford to refund! We made over 5 billion worth of sales last month and it was our highest figure ever, and we are still celebrating . Why allow this '200k' to spoil our joy? I learnt a valuable lesson that moment..The Yorubas here will remember that popular saying " ONIYANGI MA BA TEMI JE, ASO ALA NI MO WO!!! Do better oga.
That's quite an irony bro.

To add to your experience,my contractor ordered for a load of sharp sand to complete a job . Unfortunately the sand delivered was not good enough. He had delivered about 10 that was great.I was furious but when I called the driver, immediately he picked my call ,he said I am sorry for the poor quality Sir.I can tell you,I got weak and was speechless. He told me he won't make such a mistake again that his boys messed up.
It was top notch and wouldn't hesitate to contact him next time.

In this world,a lot has stooped to conquer.A customer is still the king of your business.

Good day everyone, this is what transpired btw me and money121. After someone on nairaland (his brother) recommended me to him that he sells roofing sheets, I decided to give him a try, chatted this guy and sent him pictures of the type of roof I wanted, he gave me his price, and I told him I will back get back to him.. 3 days ago i texted him on WhatsApp and told him I will be coming on Wednesday which was yesterday, he said ok no problem. Yesterday morning which was Wednesday, I chatted him up for directions, he sent it.. got to the bus stop which he said me and my roofer should wait for him by 11:08am, I came to the bus stop and pick us and took us to the factory of his Oga (not his own) I didn’t mind. We sat there, discussed and and finalized the whole thing, I made payment (4.8m) by exactly 11:50am. After making that payment, this guy changed. He kept on lying to me that the driver that will come and carry my goods is coming that I should chill which I did. By 3:10pm I went inside to call him cos I was already angry and tired and needed to go home.. the tout started shouting at me and was asking me “which time did I made payment “? And even started insulting me. Just imagine! I got furious and the owner of the factory came out and was calming me down. The owner of the factory ( an igbo man) asked him, why will you be talking to a customer like that? He kept shouting and shouting till all his colleagues came out, that was when I knew that I fell into the wrong hand… imagine this guy (money121) telling my roofer that he shouldn’t count the roof tiles well and he (my roofer) should go and tell me it’s complete when it’s not.. I saw hell yesterday from the hands of this guy (money121) and yesterday is the last time I will do any business with any online vendor.

Hello house, +234 805 943 1517 (IDE roofing ) this is the contact of the real owner of the factory.
Oh,

The IDE roofing guy is a wonderful guy.He has done a lot for me without a penny even though I am yet to buy a single sheet from his company.I am not sure he's on this platform but I recommend him to anyone

quote author=saydfact post=130127087]

Let me list 20 things that wld cost more than 1m while building this.

1. Foundation
2. German Floor
3. Blockwork
4. Parapet
5. Roofing (roof covering)
6. Carcass and ceiling
7. Window and doors
8. Ironmongery
9. Electrical /Plumbing piping
10. Electrical wires
11. Electrical/plumbing fittings
12. Plastering
13. Screeding / painting
14. Tiles only
15. Bricklayer Workmanship
16. Carpenter/ Iron Bender /Tiler workmanship
17. Furnitures (wardrobe and kitchen cabinet)
18. Fence work
19. Septic tank and soak away
20. Compound work

If all the above cost only 1m, then you've already spent 20m but some of the items above eg Electrical wires, roof, septic tank, etc cost more than 1 million.

Answer: 20 million can't build this sir.[/quote]

Ie 2 bedroom flat x3.

102 bags is about 35 bags per flat.... I don't think it's too much, except the 2 bedroom flats are not big ones (maybe if you share the floor plan).

For plumbing - MINUS THE FITTINGS, sink, WC ETC budget about 200k per flat for the pipe works up to Septic tank/soak away or just budget about 100k per flat if its just for the interior to allow plastering (again is a guess without seeing the floor plan and could be wrong).

Tiling can't be calculated without seeing the plan

Casement is always better EXCEPT WHEN COST IS AN ISSUE..... then sliding is acceptable.

Goodluck.
Thanks for this response bro.

Can you avail me your email so I can reach you please?
