blueAgent: Epic response. so why were U black SouthAfricans running to live with the whiteman .it's on record that SouthAfricans left their homelands and crossed the Limpopo river inspite of the corocodile inorder to live in the whiteman's city. Your usual accusation of mental slavary is outdated and just a way of you decieving yourself with illusion that cannot stand the test of time Stop dreaming ....Limpopo river is between SA and Zimbabwe,so this is how you console yourself since your country people are flocking to SA like flies..poverty in SA can be perceived as good life in your country..if you don't have anything to do just join your fellow country men at the ikeja mall in lagos to watch escalators ...or stand on top of your mud house to watch a 1800 model steam train which passes through after 6 months.. |

Just to think we have silky smooth raods in the ghettos,... And guess who will they attribute that to? For all the bravado and loud-mouth "giant of africa" talk this screams of inferiority, someoneon called herself and the entire black race "monkeys" on this thread! blueAgent: Guy U make me feel ashamed. When apartheid ended, the life expectancy in South Africa was 64 — the same as in Turkey and Russia. Now it’s 56, the same as in Somalia. There are 132.4 rapes per 100,000 people per year, which is by far the highest in the world: Botswana is in second with 93, Sweden in third with 64; no other country exceeds 32.
88%black South Africa police force are Hiv postive. there have been Massive corruption and loot under black rule. The South African government estimates that there are 31 murders per 100,000 people per year. Or about 50 a day. That would make South Africa the tenth most murderous country in the world, outpacing Rwanda, Mexico, and both Sudans. And that’s using South Africa’s official estimates — outside groups put the murder rate 100 percent higher.
Unemployment is 25 percent, but President Jacob Zuma, of the ANC, recently spent $24 million of public money to add a pool and amphitheater to his private home. Not long after the story broke, he was elected to a second five-year term. Think-tank theorist Leon Louw, who helped defeat apartheid, calls the crime and corruption “a simple manifestation of the breakdown of the state. The government is just appallingly bad at everything it does: education, healthcare, infrastructure, security, everything that is a government function is in shambles.” Tell me one country which is immune to all the rubbish you have listed....South Africa is the hope of africa, deal with it |

In only 20 years ,the black rule has achieved more than the 300 years white rule...i know you will scream on top of your voice disputing this ...a fact many of you find it difficult to accept . |

NellyGhenghen: I'm not saying the black South Africans aren't doing anything to move their country forward. My point is the foundation of South Africa's success was built by the whites, that's a fact and the whites still run your country to a great extent (i'm assuming you are South African). Have nothing against South Africans, indifferent about you guys, I like your music though. Just stating facts which are open to argument.
In addition, Arabs, talking about North Africans who lost their lands to the Arabs in the Arab Invasion. ...and the very white south Africans have extended their supremacy by economically colonizing Nigeria..true or false? |

I've said my part, don't expect you to agree with it, it is what it is He reminds me of the guy All4KAK...lol,by the way this lezz guy was an asylum refugee in SA but was deported back to his zoo due to the fact that he was one of the guys making our streets look dirty..therefore his bitterness and anger can be attributed to that experience...on another thread he was fighting tribal wars with his compatriots, the guy is angry with himself, unfortunately he is no longer in SA I was going to take him to the Chris hani baragwanath psychiatric ward...lol |

craziebone: what's on 152?
Also, it is not true that Dstv made Nigerian movies popular. They were already popular before the end of apartheid. And it was only when apartheid ended that the other parts of Africa opened up to you. Dstv came in and cashed in on Nollywood's popularity to make more money for themselves.
There are other cultures in all of Africa; yet, none of them is as profitable as Nigeria's. That's why Dstv Africa magic can also be called Dstv Nigeria magic. You culture in SA is not as pofitable, hence your own company couldn't even export it!
For your info, dstv also have Africa magic Hausa, yoruba and they just launched Igbo, i think. Our content is what Dstv sells. When it comes to Music, ours is what get aired the most.
Lets put the usual rivalry and patriotism aside for a while and please listen to me a bit.
The very fact that your culture is not even aired or expoted at all outside of your territory (please don't argue with this point. Fact is we don't know your culture here in Nigeria. Most people don't know you have a music or movie industry) should be a concen for you. You know more than most people here what soft power is, and how important it could be in intenational geo politics. If you govt wants to maintain super power and be able to tap into the vast untapped sectors of Africa's economy, it needs to project soft power. You already have the platform in Dstv and other outlets, why don't you just put more of yourself there. At some critical point in Africa's politics, which is definitely coming, it could prove important for you Lol...am speechless ,I thought you wanted to know the person who taught me Nigerian Tsotsi-taal,now I notice that actually your chest is burning.. |

janellemonae: Pls when did only 9million south africans have electricity and 30million black people left in darkness? You dont have to add salt and spice to ur story. Lol! Having access to electricity and boycotting payment for it - in protest - are 2 different issues. South africans living in soweto even still got free elctricity despite non payment. I am not supporting some white supremacist govt but the apartheid regime did not have a problem with generation of electricity and maintaining it, ESKOM clearly does now.
Maybe mandela had better mgt skills but SA's power is going to the dogs the more the ANC rules. Fact. No, you still have to fight for that, so you`ve just started fighting. Once you finish fighting for that, then you begin to talk about the South African system. Every country go through that process. You are funny;` why are you wishing my country back luck?` Don`t worry whatever I wish your country is not important, concentrate on making your country better and it would be better. 1, White south Africans bring back apartheid and send black south African monkeys back to reservations (sorry townships) then repair the country! OR 2, Black South Africans butcher other Africans and themselves, while HIV/AIDS wipe out the rest.

ATERI: Bro, online chit-chat can be helpful at times. There is nothing wrong in telling the truth especially if that truth needs to be told. The exchanges here have been helpful. Maybe South Africans think they are better than other African countries, I`ve told them that their political history makes that tricky. Trust me, that can only make all of us very good Africans, especially the younger generations. Honestly I have never heard south Africans saying things like:we are better,we outshine them,we are smart,we are the giant of Africa etc.. |

The ZULU king who gives orders for you to slaughter people has said it! Since most South Africans listen to that mor0n King it is only a matter of time before the blacks will be kissing white ar.ses to bring back Apartheid!
Black South Africa is a failed project, you people are cited all over the world as living proof that black south africans cannot govern themselves without WHITES! Your savagery cannot leave you no matter what!

ATERI: One thing you and I can agree on, without much ado, is that the South Africa of today is not the South Africa of the 80s and 90s. What Nigerians wanted for you is self-determination and that is what you have today. It`s not only that our efforts have been worth it, but you can also be forgiven for having a sense of who are you? For the next two decades, you will be wrestling with what Nigeria had wrestled with in the 70s and 80s. Good luck Yes I agree with you, during the apartheid regime only34 % of households were electrified, today 92% are electrified..the apartheid regime built houses which people bought...today those houses are free..poor children never received anything from the government, today the government gives them grants..maybe these are the things that make some people hate SA...We boost about a speed train today which the apartheid failed to introduce..currently SA is building new trains and two big power stations...what are you waiting for Nigerians?...look at our airports and football pitches,we crushed the old ones and built the new ones ...yes I agree with you SA was not what it was in the 80s and 90s...we are neither better nor great,we are not the giant of Africa either...by the way how far are you in terms of the pledge your leaders made for lazy Nigerians?N5000? |
