lezz: another implicit admission that what we Nigerians have been saying here are facts. thanks for that.
and you also just admitted you know nothing about military, that's a tactile admission of a self confessed troll. you ought not to be here.
you are on an ego trip, and no one ,not even your skewed up "facts" bother us.
the resilience of the average Nigerian is a DNA missing in the average Soweto boys( and I'm not saying it's your fault) and its the fault of apartheid . that's the attitude of your black ANC government, it's the attitude of julius Malema( take all white land and properties without compensation). it is the reflection of you boys on nairaland from Zulu kingdom. You never take responsibility either on a national level or in your individual lives.
But me thinks conformity should be your watchword. you guys are still looking at the world with an inverted telescope.
you are taking big bites you couldn't chew or have the skills to process.
swallow your pride and learn. that should be the motive of your journey into nairaland.
Regards Leslie nothing positive to learn from a Nigerian.. am not hear to learn anything as there is nothing to learn...am not hear to win an argument as there is no argument to win.. I still maintain what I told you that if you people were discussing domestic issues without making mockery (insults)of other countries, there would have been no foreigners bothering you on this forum.. ....use your intelligence and education to build your country and forget about what's happening in other countries... yours truly Mduduzi |

lezz: south Africa is a third world country. as a matter of fact she is a living example of a third world country. all the indices pointing to under development is typical of southafrica eg, corruption, crime, sickness, poor data reliability, poor infrastructure. etc
now please do not assume I am unaware of some groups who used the word " industrialized" very loosely and in an inclusive term.
this group are just a lonely, irrelevant school of thought who aren't comfortable with the status quo. And they often seek the promotion and inclusion of pro gay countries through PR and unwarranted inclusions. There's no industry in southafrica that can't be found on some developing countries, neither is your standard of living or government efficiency out of the murky waters of a third world countries.
let us pardon China and Russia a little. any group that calls Brazil, India and southafrica developed, first world countries, is making a wishful proposition. That group is merely seeking to create anew school of thought and a proposition of what wishful dreams and thinking should be.
below is an excerpt from the lips of a southafrican. althouth, it is still filled with self-praise and wishful thinking but enjoy the read : "Also the 40% unemployment, the 20% AIDS infection rate, the 62.18 deaths/1,000 live births infant mortality rate, the $10,700 (2003 est.) purchasing power parity (GDP per capita), although that isn't as bad as I thought it would be, say, compared to Afghanistan's $700 (2003 est.). (Statistics courtesy of the CIA World Factbook.)
South Africa is by far the most developed country in Africa, but it's still a third world country. It will be while we have people living without access to clean water, medical care or education. There's nothing shameful about being a third world country. We should celebrate our successes even more so given that we are a third world country."
Believe me the above comment from your fellow compatriot is sweet music compared to independent sources and findings of 2013/2014.
all the sources, I shall quote and reference will be in 2014. this will put you in your true light. http://www.southafrica.com/forums/open-board/5815-why-southafrica-considered-third-world-country.html http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/may/06/south-africa-elections-20-years-democracy-apartheid
South Africa's competitive advantage in the developing world ... www.brandsouthafrica.com/.../1027-sout... Mobile-friendly - Jan 31, 2014 - ... important role developing countries, such as South Africa and Brazil, are playing in the 21st century.
if southafrica is a developed country in the true meaning of the world, then almost half the globe are industrialized, advanced first world countries.
but seeing the world for the first time in 1994, you wouldn't really know what's what.
you better ask somebody!!! you paint the picture of your country on South africa....shoprite bread is enhancing your fake enthusiasm |

craziebone: it is because you have Nigerians working there.
In One of the few times i was watching the big brother show and they were showing the cast names of all of the crew people, i saw 90 percent Nigerian names! I was a bit shocked that we are the ones running your company. lol. In almost every department of those companies you are so proud of are Nigerians. Nigerians make your companies work. We also make ours work too. We have the richest people on the continent. The biggest entertainment industry on the continent was concieved and built by Nigerians, fact! The first African auto mobile is Nigerian, fact! We have a world class rail network, fact! We have the best ways to distribute fertilizers on the continent. lol.....so all these Nigerians who repair shoes in SA , tell you that they work for big south African companies...?you don't even have a clue of what big brother AFRICA is all about ,that show was created to attract audience outside SA ,its not our show but yours,if I were you I would be embarrassed to mention rail network in front of a south african...anyway thanx for telling how nice your country is |

now you must be swamp mouse to believe the average black southafrican who is a savage, moroniik, illiterate, violent rapist of adult and infants with saliva drooling from his lips left open by lack of personal awarness, could come anywhere near Nigerians who are masters of there land, economy and destiny.sing me another song you seem to know our crime stats but you can't give your country stats,my country releases our crime stats for everyone to see unlike your country....a Nigerian friend of mine once told be that crime is high in Nigeria but many of those crimes are not reported to the police because victims are afraid of victimization either by perpetrators or police themselves,on other threads genuine Nigerians are discussing about rape cases taking place in your country but you pretend like if all is well.... |

lezz: Bob Willard Whites are always to blame in the eyes of black political agitators. Though Tutu (who preveiously called for a white tax) admits that South Africa is worse now under black rule both violence-wise and economically, Tutu still blames South Africa’s problems on the “legacy of apartheid” even though blacks have rules for twenty years now.
We see the same in America with Detroit being a perfect microcosm. When whites fled the wave of violence that came with the 1967 riot and black mayor Coleman Yound taking power in Detroit in the 70s, whites were blamed for the wave of crime and fledling economy that followed because whites left city and took their tax money with them. Recently when the state of Michigan wanted to appoint an emergency financial manager to help bailout Detroit, Detroit’s black leaders (and Jesse Jackson) agrgued that white intereference in Detroit was racist.
Literally, in both America and South Africa, whites are blamed for black poverty and crime when whites are in power and when whites are not in power. And whites are to blame when whites self-segregate, when blacks self-segregate, and when both are integratated.
Why doesn’t some politician have the stones to call these agitators on their obvious BS? Just tell them the truth —people create their communities. If there is more violence and poverty among certain communities it’s because that’s what those communities create for themselves. Apparently, in South Africa, in America, and in points between.
Katherine McChesney Why don’t blacks put two and two together and recognize that their corruption causes their downfall into poverty and violence. It’s amazing that they cannot see/refuse to see that every country, community, city, county, state run by blacks is destroyed by blacks. Blacks are a curse on humanity.
MBlanc46 “Why don’t blacks put two and two together…” I think you answered your own question.

lezz: I wasn't expecting you to agree. You will keep on adding your tears and flooding up your problems.
You say Nigerians are queuing up for asylum in Pretoria? I say you are being economical with the truth. Nigerians are the most entrepreneurial and mobile citizens of Africa so naturally with your redundant and docile black population in southafrica, we simply take what's yours until you are human and civilised enough to control it. You can call that holding your jobs in trust.
Now when I was a young boy , my aunt used to work for the Nigerian embassy in southafrica and she told my engineer auncle how jobs are available after the fall of apartheid but many blacks are unqualified and unemployable. My uncle applied right from his living room in Nigeria and had offers flying in .lol . It's a true life story. I do not dwell on emotions. I dwell on the truth.
South Africa is a grave yard filled with frustrated, drug sniffing and blame-trading citizens who like the Israelite after the desert wilderness are yearning for the days of apartheid. as much as you try hard to decorate your explanation, your country is a shithole that's why Nigerians are scattered all over the world...your country men are wandering around the streets of south Africa ,according to them life is better on our streets...we don't have Nigerian engineers here, unless you regard drug dealers as engineers...there are jobs reserved strictly for Nigerians e.g cellphone repairs, shoe repairs and hair cutting..these are exclusively for your country men and women living in SA...if I may ask you, which cellular network are you using?which television satellite are you using to watch English soccer?...after eating bread from shoprite, drinking imported tap water from SA that's all you can say about a country which is feeding your 200 million population..?now I understand why you people fail to tolerate one another, you are a nation of no appreciation... |

lezz: I do not usually quote sources or rush to google. I blast you with facts learnt from my wide and extensive reading. That's just one proof the superiority of our educational system over yours.
I shall oblige you just once with a source : Although they make up a tiny portion of the U.S. population, a whopping 17 percent of all Nigerians in this country held master’s degrees while 4 percent had a doctorate, according to the 2006 American Community Survey conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau. In addition, 37 percent had bachelor’s degrees. http://www.chron.com/news/article/Data-show-Nigerians-the-most-educated-in-the-U-S-1600808.php. Believe it or not the above facts is an except from a forum debating whether your southafrica is under curse. And the achievements of Nigeria at home and abroad was brought in as an evidence there is hope for Africa.
Now there shall be no more sources for you, nitwit slumy scum.
It is a known fact that over half of southafrican youths are school dropouts. 65 percent of your schools are without liberary.
After you were liberated by the rest of Africa in 1994 , you are still adapting to universal code of behaviour, education and urban civilization.
You are a thief when you quote me statistics of a few dutch settlement. The rest of southafrica are still years behind other Africans of western origin.
When apartheid was obliterated, west Africans filled up all job vacancies and teaching positions. You are still on the process of adopting to modern ways of living.
Now let me upload you into the 21st century, a town in southafrica is home to the 2nd biggest ghetto in the land of aliens, humans and spirits. Rats feed on human babies.
Over %68 of your puplic schools are without books and liberary. Majority of them have pit toilets.
Your xenophobic culture stems from your inability and low qualification to be employed in your own country and you unleaded terror on Zimbabweans, zambians, Nigerians, Ghanaians and other Africans who are more educated than you are.
All the cities built by the Anglo-dutch are under decay and rotting away bit by bit. You claim to generate so much power for electricity yet your cities are undergoing load shedding, hehehe.
Your companies are setting up shops in Nigeria and othet African countries to escape a harsh ANC government pplicie that empowers lazy, uneducated and drug sniffing soutgafricans to become shareholders and employees.
Spare me your stupid hogwash sources.
Southafrica is now the symble of the unfortunate stereotype that blacks always destroy and can't build.
Nigeria is helping to correct all these generalised stereotypes. Hang onto the moving train, Nigeria is taking you to the promised land where inferiority complex shall be addressed. as much as you try hard to be relevant, all the things you are typing here exist only in your dreams....the fact that Nigerians are queuing for asylums daily in Pretoria delete all your rubbish you are spewing herein.... |
