Tvoice: Honestly I wasn't castigating GEJ or trying to praise Buhari with what I said. I was only being relative in my submission. No blame game either. We are at the same critical point again, where we want that inevitable CHANGE because we have already had it so tough, rough and unbearable. However, the politicians are here again applying their makeup to make themselves beautiful in our eyes. As you said, the solution is what we seek presently, and my opinion to the solution is what I stated in the last paragraph of my earlier post. God bless us all. |

Tvoice: List or no list, name or no name, tribe or no tribe, it is a known fact that the growing poverty level of governance we experienced during GEJ necessitated the emergence of this present government. If GEJ era had been comfortable for Nigerians, no one would blink voting in Buhari. Nigerians are just too sentimental, I remember vividly that so many people, even amongst the list here, warned us against voting Buhari into power. But the sufferings were becoming unbearable as GEJ reign lasted, hence our decision. Who knows, however, what would have become of Nigeria today if we had returned GEJ to power instead of Buhari, considering the downward trend of our economy at the time? Or have we forgotten Deziani of this world, Dasuki, Lamido, Stella Oduah etc and their corruption records? Or have we forgotten so soon that a week before May 29, 2015 handing over date, everything was standstill in the country? No light and fuel was scarce. Mama Ngozi Iweala was the only person that made us have something better to say about that government. It is natural for people to always want to change a bad government by whatever means We can only wish ourselves luck this time around. But as for me, this present crop of politicians don't have anything good for this country. They're becoming beasts by the day. Restructuring and constitutional amendment are the only solutions to Nigeria's myraid of problems. God help us! |

peeps4u: @peeps4u, have you forgotten that those stuff do come with the car? So, there may not be need getting them first. Jokes apart, my present Toyota Camry 2005 just suffered gear misfortune from a very senior kazeem. He changed the driver's side shaft and pronto, same day, the gear packed. It's the only car serving the family now that the kids have started school. I'm afraid it may pack up anytime soon, considering some unusual symptoms rearing their head everyday. The 3-year old had been an excellent ride before this encounter. I might need a good car within 1.8 - 2m budget that would get to hands within 2-day duration, when I'm ready for it. Is this possible? Interested buyer for the Camry 2005 is welcomed too. The engine is excellent only the usual slight delays when gears are replaced (apologies for the advert here!). 3 Likes 1 Share |

I think this is what is obtainable at the time of this writeup (2011), when the going was still good. This is 2017, with so many awkward and draconian government policies hitting the market very heavily. I've always preferred Cotonou majorly because of two things- Price and Variety. Unfortunately, before a choice is made now, the tradeoff between those two pros and the cons of government policies would suffice. 1 Like |

Hi house. Please can I be guided to a very reliable dealer to buy a very clean and hassle-free Lexus RX 2003 or 2004 (or whichever one is better). Various reports coming from Cotonou concerning harsh nigerian government policies and lots of accidented cars flooding both Berger and Tin Can, coupled with merciless shady deals, are nothing to write home about. Any help in this regard would eternally be appreciated. |

Hello house. Please can I be put through on which car has the best fuel economy and cheaper maintenace cost between Toyota Avalon 2001-2005 models, Honda Pilot 2001-2005 and Acura MDX of the same model year. I want to buy it for my wife, but considering these factors at the same time since I'm not around with her so as to assist her with the management. To serve as a guide for this comparison, I've driven Honda accord 2001 model (aka baby boy) and Nissan Xterra and could see the Xterra is crazily high in fuel consumption while the Honda is excellent in fuel management. I drove the manual Honda for five solid years without a single problem. Please I would appreciate the comparison against these examples I gave above and will also welcome any other useful suggestion of a reliable car in this category. Thanks |

Hello Mr Yk. Please what good cars, saloon or mini jeep, fall within the range of 1.5m to 1.7m for a woman? My preference has been Toyota Matrix though, but I know it will be more expensive than that price range. Also, how long does it take to bring any vehicle from Cotonou to Lagos. I cast my mind back to those days when you almost had heart attack while awaiting vehicle from Cotonou for weeks. Thanks and well done for the good job. God's protection will be upon you as you go and come. |

40manlappy: Thank you. It wasn't a case of too much money as earlier commented by a fellow forum mate. However, I had made up my mind to follow your advice before a restriction came. You know how it feels when a woman wants something desperately! My stand that only MSc will suffice fell on deaf ears as the voice kept coming that we should be on the safer side. Now the whole thing has escalated. In my own defence too, I've told her to score 10 points all bands in our forthcoming ielts, while I manage to support with at least 7 points since she's the principal applicant. Meanwhile, we will pay more attention and follow up her other diplomas in other to earn us more points as you rightly said. At the same time, I will write WES to disregard both ND and BSc. Thanks again. 1 Like |

Hello house, Please I'm in a fix. WES claimed to have sent verification to the following schools, with the following certificates: OAU - MSc Lautech - BSc FUTA - B.Eng Federal Poly, Ado - ND Nursing and Midwifery Council - RN West African Health Exam Board - RPHN My questions: what modality does the verification take because I called Ado today and seems they were saying its hard copy WES will send, rather than through email. Also which department does the verification go and who handles it? Does it require money. Finally, who has passed through these schools to please advise appropriately. I have called these schools severally and they keep saying they haven't received anything, while WES has informed me since the 21st of April that they have sent the verification. What do I do to fastrack this? |

Hello house. I know this question has been asked before and diverse answers given, but I really need a definite and convincing response before making payment in the bank tomorrow morning. Its simply about this WES evaluation. For me, a dependant, having ND, B.Eng and M.Sc, will evaluating all these have impact on our application or only the M.Sc is just enough? For the applicant, she has Bsc in Nursing, separate higher diplomas in Midwifery and Public Health and a PGDE. Can she evaluate all please? I'm concerned about this because of the various options of point-counting educational levels indicated on the CRS calculator. In addition, we rely on other measures possible in order to boost our points because we are not favoured by age (40 and 35). Thanks all. |

boldinc: Thanks. So in the case of me having MSc, B.Eng and ND, and my spouse will be the main applicant (no transcript problem from her side), please what is the best way around this (I mean will the ND be useful?). Presently, the school where I had my B.Eng is in crisis and it is sure that wont be resolved pretty soon, while the other two schools are ready to issue my transcripts. Moreso , I had already included B.Eng and ND in the WES form. Except a strong assurance about my earlier question that, will WES not change my already issued reference number while payment is still pending. Have I not shot myself in the leg in various ways now? |

I have had people ask which of their credentials to submit for evaluation, with responses that the highest degree could be evaluated. Does that mean that one degree can cover and rake points for all other certificates, considering a situation where someone has got a lot of diploma certificates. More so it appears other certs. except degrees have got good points to add. How does this work? Its better If one evaluation would cover because of the unrest in most of our higher institutions that prevents one from collecting stuffs out (FUTA for example). Clarifications please. |
