There has been torrent of complaints across Lagos by commuters on the recent ban on Okada and Keke Napep across Lagos.

Early this morning witnessed huge traffic along major roads in the city, with people seen trekking for long distance to their place of work or business.

The Lagos State Government had recently placed a ban on Keke Napep and Okada riders which included premium service providers such as Opay and Gokada riders.

Armed police officers in London today killed a terrorist on a knife rampage after stabbing two people.
The incident happened around 2pm on the Streatham High Road, with witness claiming the terrorist wore something that closely looked like a suicide vest.
It is alleged that the terrorist stole a knife from his brothers bargain shop before setting out on the rampage.

Around ten people are dreaded dead in Oyibo Local Government Area of Rivers State following a blast in a pipeline in the zone.

The occurrence apparently happened in Kom people group of the LGA, about late morning yesterday. Sources near the scene said the blast started off flame which evidently consumed the people in question.

The Police in the state affirmed the episode however couldn't find out the genuine number of loss as at the season of documenting this report.

Ongoing tensions between US and Iran has taken a new dimension as a man has been executed on charges for spying for the Central Intelligence Agency.

Days ago, it was reported that Iran shot down a US drone believed to have entered it territory, with the US government claiming the said drone was on international waters.

The executed man was a former contract employee for the aerospace organization of the defense ministry. Jalal Hajizavar whose contract had expired nine years ago, was investigated and instruments for spying and documents were found in his house, leading to a military court convicting him of espionage.

David Umaru, a former senator who previously represented Niger East, has demanded that 69 individuals were executed in an ongoing assault by armed marauders in Shiroro, Niger State.

Umaru, accused the state government for purportedly lying about the figure, proclaimed that the administration was not being honest to the general population on the actual figure of those murdered.

The ex-official, in an announcement marked by him in Minna, stated: “For the avoidance of doubt, I still reecho it that not less than 69 people were killed by the bandits, several injured and cattle rustled.

“Of this number, 55 bodies have been found while the quest for the rest of the bodies proceeds.”

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) yesterday reinstated its advice to Nigeria on the need to remove fossil fuel subsidy and attend to social infrastructures with the savings already generated from the scheme.

It has been the organizations impression that the country will be in a better position if the subsidy can be removed so as to be able to finance other internal developmental programs.

Speaking at the ongoing World Bank/IMF Spring Meetings in Washington DC, IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde stated her opinion which she believes is in the best interest for the country.
