Music/Radio › Re: Is Real Hip-hip/rap Facing Extinction In Nigeria? by meccuno: 6:02pm On Jul 08, 2014
i think i still respect mode 9......but he has to re invent himself...thats what rappers like EMINEM who probably might be the greatest rapper alive now did....his flows are out of this world.....in Nigeria today, people are accustomed to dancable music....so u have to adapt to that while u still maintain ur identity.......Nigerians need some one who could relate with them like phyno, olamide, and da grin who i consider as a good rapper.........if not, they would only make the extinction or rap music faster in Nigeria..........rappers are humans and need money too...so they have to re invent themselves in order to stay in the game.....who said it would ever be easy??

Politics › Re: FOI Not Binding On States- Lagos Govt by meccuno: 3:39pm On Jan 04, 2014
You disgruntled elements across the Niger will always scream high heaven whenever Fashola is mentioned. Your governors are r.aping you to death with unprecedented looting, throwing your states back to Stone Age, yet it is Fashola you all can pour your innate anger on.

Did Fashola write the constitution of the Federal republic of nigeria? Was He the one that said states should make their own laws? If LASG feel there is already a better mechanism for bonified Lagos citizens ( not the night hawkers from the East who claim to own Lagos) to find out about how the state government spends their money, or extract information from the state government, perhaps that may explain the reason no bill has been sent to the house by Fashola foe domestication of the FOI passed by the National Assembly.
so if u try as much as possible to hold your tribalistic instincts fro one day,the oracle in ur village would cease to exist?? i hope u dont have kids...cus if u do,it would be a waste of human space...cus u dont have anything to offer ur kids...
Politics › Re: Ibadan Kids Spend New Year At The Escalator At Shoprite Ibadan by meccuno: 11:59am On Jan 03, 2014
geeez: Lol

What about the people that spent New Year in the Enugu jacuzzi?

Meanwhile Shoprite has two outlets in the ancient city

Could only mean they are making a kill

And I've seen white kids in those long London Underground escalators enjoying the 'ride' too and even taking steps up against the direction of the escalator so it's not an Ibadan thingy
THERE WOULD BE SADNESS AND GLOOM IN THE TRIBAL WORLD IF THEIR CHIEF TRIBALIST DOESNT DO HIS JOB WELL......AM VERY SURE DEATH WOULD BE AROUND THE CORNER IF YOU DONT PROFESS THE WORD IGBOS ON THAT UGLY LOOKING LIPS OF YOURS...
Politics › Re: Awo Was Greater Than Mandela – Ofeimun by meccuno: 12:26pm On Jan 02, 2014
Sirniyeh: sorry to say, you may still be baby during the reign of Awo.. The apartheid Mandela fought for is not more than Awo's struggle for Nigeria independence.
Lets get it cleared that only Mandela's name was heard, he had subordinates who teamed up with him to succeed.
Historically, Awo remains only politician in Nigeria who has the record of policies that favoured the general common nigerian
yes he fought for indepence ....so did the other nationalist....awolowo was a very brilliant man,no doubt...but never hid the fact that his interest was that of the yoruba people.....all his Major achievement where in the south west....so if u tell me that he was a mandela to his kinsmen...no problem....but for u to start the comparison is a bit too childish....being proud of ur tribe and trying to lift the name of ur hero isn't a bad thing.....but awo was more of yoruba than Nigerian....mandela was more of a south african than a high chief from his tribe...
Politics › Re: Awo Was Greater Than Mandela – Ofeimun by meccuno: 9:20am On Jan 02, 2014
the two are not comparable....mandela is miles ahead of awo with due respect.....wonder why one would even bring the two together...they are not on the same class....... lipsrsealed
Politics › Re: Why Are Ijaw/SE So Fixated On Who APC Chooses As Their Presidential Candidate by meccuno: 9:46pm On Dec 31, 2013
KIRIJI: The ibos have been relegated. The yorubas hausas and ijaws are now the dominant ethnic group in Nigeria. The ibos have been condemned to lick the ijaw mans salty balls. Even rotimi amechi a south-southerner just as the president is in the opposition while the south easterners have no choice than to be yes-men to the incompetent president. Very pathetic
so having an ijaw president makes them a dominant ethnic group?? look at what free education has caused..... grin by the way,ur name looks like kirikiri...am sure u are an indegene of that small town.... shocked

Politics › Re: Gradual Transformation Of Nigerian Infrastructure; Focus On Roads by meccuno: 2:58pm On Dec 29, 2013
agbameta: To start with, it's either you are blind or full of something else because many roads in the pics I posted are not toll roads.

Many villagers have been begging for the same bridge for 30 years and toll or no toll, they still don't have any bridge.

The most sophisticated bridge in Nigeria and the best infrastructure in this thread is the same picture you quoted so We not only like our toll roads, we welcome and appreciate them.
why are u filled with so much hate? huh
