If Ndiigbo take Ijaws to world court over both Islands, we would win, if you refuse to obey the court, we treat you in a language you understand. Better enjoy your Hausa-Fulani friends one NIGERIA while it lasts. Because from here upwards, nah downward spiral for you lots. |

Before this jail break, I remember a jail break that occurred in the south eastern part of the country before this one, I can vividly remember that after the news of the jail break no sensible news was provided of the escapee, the matter vanished into thin air like it never occurred with no sensible information or decisions to curb the assault on the society or keep people on high alert, I doubt those guys had an up to date record of their inmates then smh. Weeks later the insecurity in that particular region sky rocketed . But then we have this region that went as far as releasing their identities to the public to help those who might be related to thier case in any way seek shelter and also quicken their re capture process. I hope the other regions will be able to learn from this sophisticatedly advanced 1st world strategy and stop hating. [/s]Gibberish |

Overall, Buhari is better than GEJ. He has achieved more and his failures, other than with insecurity, given the income both had to work with , is less than GEJ's. [/s] I don't take anyone who even thinks a Buhari with an IQ of an Orange is better than GEJ. Forget all the propaganda. Which was done just to install a Northerner. Politics › Re: Why Do Nigerian Tribes Hate Each Other But Refuse To Divide? by meccuno: 5:38am On Oct 28, 2021 |
horsepower102: none of them made any sense.
Point number 1 you said nigeria mostly relies on oil and hasn't diversified its economy so whose fault is it? Hasnt Nigeria had 60 years to diversify its economy? You said division is unrealistic as if there is ever a good time to divide. Division always happens no matter what those with vested interests think. So if Igbos for example want to go and have their nation, they must wait for everyone to develop their industries first? Does that make any sense to you?
Point number 2 The minority tribes in the north are currently being killed in the North. Their populations are being wiped out as we speak and you are here talking about nonsense domination. In fact a middle belt republic would better protect them than the massacre that they are currently facing in Nigeria. As for south south, igbos of this generation are more than happy to have them form their own nation as they choose, The only thing that we ask of them is to not touch a single Igbo territory in the so called south south. We have the Opobos, ubani, obigbo, Enuanis and other igbos of the south south region.
As of today, minorities in nigeria are already being exploited and taken advantage of. A nation of their own would actually protect them and give them better negotiating terms for their lands and resources.
Point number 3 False, there are people doing cross border trade, business and transactions all the time all over the world. Tariff can be negotiated among the new nations. This is done all the time. Those doing business in other countries will have to abide by the laws of the new nation and pay whatever business taxes required of them.
As for food, the north doesn't produce that much food as you think. Go to any fresh market in the East for example and you will notice that most of the food is grown locally. The North has one of the highest malnutrition in the world.
Point number 4 Very simple. You draw the lines of separation based on referendum. The referendum will be held at contested areas where the people will vote which country that they want to be part of.
Point number 5 This point of certain tribes wanting separation because of oil is a stupid one. Oil is going the way a coal and any nation hoping to build a future with it is already dead including Nigeria. Igbos just want their own nation because they have given Nigeria more than enough chance to change for the better but it has gotten worse. Igbos believe in themselves and their ability to build a developed nation.
And yes big tribes are calling for separation but so are small tribes for example TIV, Ibom, Oron, Ijaws. Thanks alot for this. I was so pissed at what that dude was writing. |
Politics › Re: Tinubu Is Capable Of Leading Nigeria — South-West Governors by meccuno: 5:31am On Oct 28, 2021 |
[s] Dsalvo: Please note that Buhari has not entirely failed. He has done some good and even near great things. He is far better than GEJ overall .
Where Buhari has failed, that no one could really anticipate, is letting his openly pro-Fulani and pro-North thinking cloud his judgement to then dictate his actions and inactions.
This has impacted negatively on security, the economy, ethnic cohesion and unity of Nigeria, critical appointments (like AGF), institutional reforms, the need for restructuring, retention of practices leading to bloated and inefficient governmenf parastatals mainly Northerners are beneficiaries of, constitutional reform, socio-economic policies etal.
Even decisions such as building a rail line to Niger Republic, complete with rail station, with Nigeria 's money and no counterpart funding, appear distinctly sentimental, ethnocentric and economically unjustifiable. Buhari could have gotten Nigeria to the next level.
Buhari failed because he fails to see all Nigerian region and people as equal. Buhari is not as efficient a President as he has the potential to be because of dogmatic devotion to his ethnic group and region above what is best for all. That is his own limitation Tinubu has never had. They are totally different people.
If Buhari was more objective and not so North-centric then he could easily have become the best President Nigeria has produced since 1999.
Every major decision Buhari takes has to pass the test of being in the best interest of the North and not Nigeria. Buhari has ended up failing everyone, especially the North, because of this. [/s]Buhari better than Jonathan? Good Lord!! |

[s] ENIGMATIC2023: IPOB's Sit-at-Home Call, the greatest Enabler of Andy Uba's Impending Victory
By Chidiebere Nwobodo
Disclaimer: I don't have any candidate of choice as long as Anambra governorship is concerned, but I found it moronic for some people to enable the same system they claimed to be fighting while throwing away a golden opportunity to assert their influence where it matters mostly.
Base on political arithmetics on ground vis-a-vis IPOB's ill-conceived sit-at-home order, targeted at the forthcoming Anambra gubernatorial election, of which has created tensed security situation in the state, Senator Andy Uba is the next governor of the state. Quote me.
Majority of the people on ground have fallen to IPOB's infantile propaganda that boycotting the election will hasten the release of Nnamdi Kanu and entrench Biafra course—of which is not true. In fact, it will strengthen the apartheid system against Igbo which IPOB claimed to be fighting.
Many who wanted to come out and vote on 6th November, 2021, will stay indoors out of fear of being caught between trigger-happy security personnel and marauding unknown gunmen. What will be the result at the end of the day: unprecedented voter apathy that will make it very easy for results to be written in favor of Buhari's party—the APC.
And Andy Uba wins. Buhari wins. Who loses? Anambra people, Nnamdi Kanu cum IPOB and Ndigbo in general. Please don't get me wrong, Andy Uba is a worthy Anambra cum Igbo son—I have no prejudice against him, but at this point, like Hope Uzodimma, Uba has become a pawn in a chessboard being played by centralists and secessionists. His victory is a victory for Abuja centralist forces and great loss for regional tendencies like IPOB.
Andy Uba will not take Anambra seriously knowing that they didn't not make him governor. His loyalty will be 100% to Abuja, as being done by Hope Uzodimma. As governor, he will abstain from any meeting of South-easterners or southern governors that seems anti-government cum anti-north. He will further criminalize IPOB activities in the state.
Then I ask again: who is IPOB working for? Who is thinking for IPOB? Why enable the same tendency you claimed to be fighting via illogical sit-at-home order, when you should have mobilized your massive followers and sympathizers at the grassroots to ensure Buhari's candidate loses the election—any other person can win—I don't care who he is.
I intentionally did not use the phrase "Andy Uba losses the election" because at this point, he is only a pawn in a chess game—the target is the central government holding Nnamdi Kanu and subjecting him to phantom terrorism charges, while the real terrorists are being pampered by the state.
If IPOB cannot use its popularity and appeal to make Buhari's candidate cum party lose the election in IPOB's supposedly stronghold, that means they're yet to be strategic about its agitation. It is just grandstanding and shenanigans—a typical of motion without movement. The only language Buhari will understand is that APC LOST ELECTION IN ANAMBRA BECAUSE OF IPOB PROTESTING DETENTION OF ITS LEADER, NNAMDI KANU.
Seeing the possibility of APC's massive failure in the Southeast during 2023 general election, especially if IPOB repeats the same action against ruling party, that is the only thing that will quicken the release of Nnamdi Kanu. The only language Nigerian politicians understand is election. They will avoid like plague anything that has the potential of making them lose elections.
Andy Uba's win is Buhari's win. His loss is Buhari's loss. Seeing the same IPOB that claimed to be antagonistic to the government Buhari heads, enabling a candidate of the same APC via its irrational sit-at-home call, is tantamount to idiocy and stupidity mixed with a little touch naivety served with a tray of arrogance.
The next court sitting for Nnamdi Kanu's case will be on 10th November, 2021. The most effective strategy IPOB can use to hamstring Buhari and his handlers, is to use Anambra election to demonstrate who is really in control of Southeast. IPOB's show of force should not be seen only on sit-at-home days but on election days as well, to ensure that anyone that has sympathy of the center losses. By doing so, even Igbo politicians will start taking IPOB seriously.
IPOB still have between Monday 8th to Wednesday 10th of November to sit-at-home if they so wish. You can call me mumulettual if you want but wisdom is profitable to direct. If APC wins coming Anambra election, enabled by IPOB's Sit-at-Home Call, Buhari and his northern supporters will see IPOB as a group of rabble-rousing vuvuzelas that engage in highfalutin noise-making. The mockery by northern elements will be conspicuous on social media when the result of the election will be out. [/s] |

LiegeMan: Anger And Vengeance Is Taking The Best Part Of Me
hello nairalanders,
Sorry to disturb your peace but this has been going on in my mind for long and I really need suggestions on how to overcome it. I gave in to ire/anger and it's gradually taking the best part of me since I made a little discovery about my wife's past and how she lived her life while in the campus. I will try and make it as snappy as possible in order not to make you spend much of your time on my case.
Now, it goes this way, my wife came from a middle class family and she attended one of the best and prestigious higher institutions in the country, they're not too rich and they're not poor, infact, their family name can't be in the same sentence with poverty. She had everything she needed and lived her life to the fullest while in the campus, she flirted with and dated the best guys in the campus, she visited many night clubs and other exuberant and flamboyant life style that pertains to the campus.
Now on my own part, I attended one of the Colleges of Education that littered our country, I did everything all by myself, I sponsored myself throughout my stay in the college, I did all manner of odd jobs to survive, sometimes, I would miss lectures due to lack of cash, no one to assist, all these limitations made me not to pay attention towards the opposite sex as I was busy struggling to survive and hoping unto God for a miracle.
Right now, all I am feeling is anger, ire, all I want now is vengeance knowing fully well that while I was suffering and struggling to survive, fasting without praying, carrying bricks and block from one floor to the other, jumping from one market to the other hawking my wares, that my wife was busy somewhere enjoying and partying away her future, right now, I want to have my revenge, I want to live those life that I wasn't opportune to live, I want to flirt and have fun with many ladies both young and old, I want to visit as many night clubs as possible now that money is flowing in, I careless about the consequences and how she may feel, these are exactly what I'm feeling now.
this can't keep troubling me that's why I brought it here for suggestions and elderly advice. sorry but you are not wise. |
