Nairalanders please I need your help, I am being threatend by my former boss who beat me up and tried to rape me, this issue has made me start having suicidal thoughts, I have been depressed and my BP is on the rise. Please help.

How it all happened was:
A few years back when I was 17 I was at sapele, Delta State, living with my sister and we found it difficult feeding I had to pick a job I worked as a receptionist in his firm then. Just a few weeks after I started the job he began making sexual advances towards me, which I refused, I was so young but he didn't care he continued he began to assault me sexually, he will come around touching and forcfully squezze my breast at times. I couldn't leave the job cos I needed the money badly for us to feed.

On that fateful day it was on a Sunday he called me to come get the office keys at his place cos he won't be going to the office early I left for his place when I got to his place he locked the door and said I have no where to run to there was no light and he had put on his generator set and began playing music at a very high volume so no one outside will hear what was happening.

when I refused to sleep with him he began to beat me up, slapping me and punching me, at some point in the struggle to forcfully have his way God made it happen that his generator went off, just then his Neighbour knocked at the door to collect his phone he gave him to charge, immediately he opened the door I ran out he chased me and beat me up again on the street again.

I was young I was scared I couldn't report to anybody cos he threatened to beat me again and he even sacked me after that.
Over the years he has been pestering me asking to come to my base even after he got married he still continued he travelled all the way to my location to see me I refused to see him.

Few days ago he came into my DM again this time insulting and calling me names, saying if I had dated him he would have made my life better, when I told him I could never have dated him after all he did to me, how he beat me up and attempted to rape me he said it was going to get me arrested for character defamation. As we speak he has sworn to get me locked up as he said he has friends in the police.

Each time I try to put this very ugly and painful part of my past behind he look pulls me back into my pain. My BP is on the rise, I am depressed, I don't even know what to do or who to call.

Has it become a crime to be a woman?
Has it become a crime not to be rich?
Has it become a crime to make ends meet?
Has it become a crime to be young and beautiful?

I just got my tinted glass permit from ospreywin and I must confess that he is probably the most professional Nigerian I have come across.

There was an issue with the document, he rectified without trying to extort me.

But if it;s that net, the car exhaust may sound louder than usual.

Make sure the panel beater is sure that the one and only source of the leak.

I have changed my own NET and even the whole exhaust, The code still shows.

Currently holding to find someone who knows about it.

It is a common saying here, that Real Estate never depreciates, and I used to believe it was true, until the question was asked by one of my twitter followers, and I had to do a lot of critical analysis before answering his question.

Real Estate remains a very reliable investment, but like all other investments, there is a risk of depreciation associated with Real Estate.

Considering the first component of Real Estate: buildings, In Civil Engineering, all buildings have a design life. They are designed to last a certain number of years, usually between thirty and fifty years, depending on the budget of the owner. Consequently, as every cubic meter of concrete is poured, as every Kilogram of reinforcement is placed, the design life starts counting. Over a few months, several components starts losing value, some begin to call for repair, depreciation sets in.

If you purchase a piece of land and you have been asked to expect a certain Return on Investment, could anything possibly go wrong and reduce your ROI? Yes, a lot could go wrong!

Flooding could be an issue, as it takes a little increase in the level of adjoining land areas or an increase in the road level to get your land flooded. A bad drainage in the neighbourhood or the rechanneling of a river or some unfavourable incident at a nearby dam could get your property flooded. If you were to sell that property, no one will be willing to pay good money for it, and will definitely bargain lesser for the land. No one will even want to buy a flooded piece of land in the first, except there are no other available options.

Bad roads could also cause the value of a piece of land to depreciate. If the road(s) leading to your piece of land becomes bad, investors and prospective home owners will be discouraged and the demand for land in that neighbourhood will reduce. It is basic Economics that whenever there is low demand for any commodity, the price drops in an attempt to encourage demand.

Security could also be a major factor. If any expensive neighbourhood becomes notorious, either because of armed robbery, kidnapping, bombing or any other crime, the value of that neighbourhood will drop, and your piece of land will definitely lose its value.

Natural disasters or environmental disasters could also deal a fatal blow on your piece of land. Oil spillage, erosion, collapsed bridges, collapsed power supply structures can all lead to a fall in the value of your piece of land.

When next you intend to purchase a property, please consider the above factors, and if you are spending a lot on the piece of land, I will strongly advise that a Soil investigation and topographical investigation be carried out. It is better to be safe than to be sorry.
