A baby born with an Arabic inscription on the chest, thigh and back, has turned his parents house to a Mecca of sorts since her arrival on March 2, 2019.

Dailytrust reports that the girl, who is the fourth child of her parents, also has a crescent sign on her ankle. She was delivered at the Police Clinic along Barth Road Sokoto.

Her mom said among the peculiar things discovered on the girl is that she can’t have the earring hole on her ear lobe as after several attempt, the skin could not be pierced.

She was full of gratitude to Almighty Allah for giving her a baby with such inscription and expressed hope that it would make people to be closer to God and fear Him the more.

Alhaji Hussaini, the father who is a Mobile Police officer, said on receiving news of the baby, he was so full of anxiety that he could not even sleep on that day.

Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Saad Abubakar was amazed when the baby was taken to his Palace and expressed total submission to Allah for His wonders.

The royal father donated N100, 000, a ram, and 5 pieces of clothing materials to the family. He then urged the mother to take good care of the special baby

The Niger State Police Command has arrested a three-man gang of motorcycle thieves at different locations in the Bida Local Government Area of the state.

The suspects, Aliyu Aliyu, 30, of Mokwale area, Bida; Dauda Ibrahim, 34, of Eyaruwa area of Bida; and Umaru Garba, 32, of Area 1, Bida, were apprehended by a team of policemen from the ‘B’ Division following a tip-off.

It was learnt that Aliyu had been dispossessing residents of their motorcycles, which he usually sold to one of his accomplices, Ibrahim, for some years now before they found themselves in the police net.

Reports gathered that Aliyu, out of the seven motorcycles he allegedly stole from unsuspected residents of Bida, sold five to Ibrahim.

Checks also revealed that Garba was also dispossessing residents of their motorcycles and selling them to Ibrahim.

Aliyu, a father of four, said that it was the devil that led him into the criminal act.

He stated, “My wife knows that I am a motorcycle thief and that I always dispossess innocent people of their motorcycles and other valuables. I am a thief and I know my mother will regret having me as her son; it’s unfortunate.

“My wife had been warning me to stop the act and be useful to my family; I am ruined; I have dragged my good family name in the mud and I pray they will forgive me.”

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Muhammad Abubakar, confirmed the arrest on Thursday, saying the suspects had confessed to the crime.

Abubakar said the suspects also disclosed that another seven motorcycles were sold to one Aman of Kpakungu, who is now at large.

He added that the operatives recovered from them five motorcycles, adding that the matter would be charged to court after investigation.

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Lagos Zonal office, have arrested one Sotayo Olatayo Johnson, a contestant for the State House of Assembly in Ogun State.

Johnson, who was arrested at Ijaye Park Polling Unit in Abeokuta, Ogun State, was caught with some amounts of money neatly arranged in envelops stashed in carrier bags.

The Nigeria Army through it's official Twitter handle has reacts to CCTV footage allegedly showing soldiers of the Nigeria Army, other security agents invading the residence of the Rivers State Commissioner of Education, Dr Tamunosisi Gogo-Jaja.

The Nigerian Army said it has started conducting a comprehensive forensic investigation of the footages to authenticate the validity or otherwise of the claims to guide its further actions.

In a statement that was made available to MEDIAHELM NEWS, the Nigerian Army wrote:

The NA has observed some CCTV footages in circulation on social media and other online platforms, allegedly showing soldiers of the NA, other security agents invading the residence of the Rivers State Commissioner of Education, Hon. Dr. Tamunosisi Gogo-Jaja.

The NA, for the umpteenth time, reiterate its position in the entire conduct of 2019General elections as severally and consistently espoused and directed by COAS which is - "NA is apolitical,neutral, impartial and will not compromise its constitutional roles under any guise".

The NA has started conducting a comprehensive forensic investigation of the footages to authenticate the validity or otherwise of the claims to guide its further actions.

A Nigerian man has been sentenced in the U.S. to time served and now faces deportation for tricking school districts into sending him the personal information of workers that he then used to file fraudulent tax returns.


Federal prosecutors say 36-year-old Olukayode Ibrahim Lawal, who had been living in Smyrna, Georgia, was sentenced on Tuesday, March 6, in Connecticut.

Authorities say in 2017 Lawal sent phishing emails to the Groton Public Schools and to Sacred Heart Academy in Hamden to obtain the personal information of employees which he used to file fraudulent tax returns in their names.

He pleaded guilty in December to conspiracy to commit wire fraud.

Prosecutors say Lawal was in the United States on an expired visa.

He is currently in U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody for deportation proceedings.

3-Who on earth postpones an election 5 hours to the election except a scared government whose time is up but DOES NOT want to go? They had 4 years to prepare for this election. They had ₦190 billion. Yet they pull this.



4-By instigating a #CoupAgainstNigeria postponement of an election 5 hours before it was scheduled to begin, the Buhari regime knew it was going to lose and want to frustrate you the people and cause very low voter turnout


5-Refuse to play into their hands. Be CALM, PEACEFUL and UNDETERRED. Keep passion until February the 23rd. Then troop out to repay them for their #CoupAgainstNigeria with your vote.



6-This postponement was PLANNED. That‘s why Buhari gave CNN an interview and boasted “NOBODY WILL UNSEAT ME”. Is PMB right? So Nigerians can’t unseat PMB?



7-Remember, elections can only be rigged effectively when the voter turnout is low. That is what their #CoupAgainstNigeria is meant to achieve. But we must troop out in large numbers until the Buhari government we see today, we see no more after May 29, 2019
