@ tosin
saucekid, u've come again with your insults. U don free music section.
I am not saying Fab isnt important. What I am saying is that Arsenal will still survive if he leaves. They have proven it time and time again. They played some part of this season without him and they didnt do badly. They even beat Porto 5-0 in the Champions league. They went 4 months without him last season(08/09) and went unbeaten. The likes of Nasri can step in his shoes for the short term. The likes of Denilson and Ramsey in a couple of seasons, with the potentials they have got, can fill the void. Arsenal is not a one man team.
Arsenal winning titles is not just down to holdin on to Fab, though it will help. They need to sign big players that've got what it takes. Players that have been there and done that. Quality and experienced players. They also need to adopt a less predictable and pragmatic style of play and then the titles will come.
Do u think Arsenal will finish outside the top 4 if they let Fab go without replacing?

I'm a neutral but i like Barca, Liverpool, Psv and Ajax.
Hope you know Arsenal have officially signed Marouane Chamakh.
Arsenal needs to sign big players and adopt a more productive style of play to win trophies. You might wanna argue that Arsenal went a season unbeaten in 03/04 playing this way but you gotta know that that era has gone. The EPL has changed since then.

In-demand England midfielder James Milner has put potential suitors on red alert by saying he does not know if he will still be at Aston Villa next season.

And Villa's resolve to keep the 24-year-old is set to be tested by Manchester City, who offered £30m for him after having a £20m bid rejected

That improved offer may not be enough for City, though, as Chelsea have joined the race for Milner and they believe the lure of Champions League football could prove decisive.

Villa could also lose forward Ashley Young to Tottenham, who are ready to offer Robbie Keane or Jermaine Jenas as part of a deal for him.

Spurs face competition for Young from Manchester city, who enquired about his availability at the same time they asked about Milner.

Liverpool skipper Steven Gerrard is so fed up with manager Rafael Benitez he is ready to walk out if he gets the right offer.

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has his eye on Real Madrid's Brazilian superstar striker Kaka.

If Barca gets him with Yaya and we are able to get Arteta and get him committed. He's got long-range, free-kick and goal scoring more than Fabregas. May be, just may be we will fair better
Arsenal need a whole lot to win the title.
SportsRe: Lagerback:why I Picked Shittu by medjai(m): 1:13pm On May 21, 2010
Kgdavid:
shittu is tough no nonsense defender and while he might lack some level of control, he is still a great player. defenders can be expected to start the attack with a pass only in certain situations when the other players (teammates and opponents alike) are further up field or The midfielders are not available. a typical situation where your defenders could be expected to take the lead is from a goal kick or offside, as all the other players push back up field in anticipation of a long kick, the defenders open up into space. the goal keeper then has the option of kicking it long or passing it wide to one of the defenders. now if you watch nigeria very closely, whenever we have a dead ball situation deep in our own half enyeama will just hump the ball upfield. the fact is the most basic rule of defending is safety first and if you use nemanja vidic for example you will observe that he concedes a lot of throw ins. he doesnt necessarily lump the ball upfield but he passes it out or just generally plays first for safety. the only reason why shittu appears to lump the ball every other second is because nigeria are always under pressure! the porous play from our midfield means that people like shittu have to step in and do what they can. shittu also clears the ball with exceptional force which might be part of the reason people think thats all he does. in any case a defensive partnershipmust haveone rough guy like shittu/apam and one calm guy like yobo/adeleye. vidc-ferdinand, terry-carvalho, pique-puyol, samuels-lucio etc
LMAO

Anyways, here are mine: 3 doors down, Coldplay, Linkin Park, Rufio, Kasabian, Blink 182 and its other fragments(Angels and Airwaves and Box car racer), Simple plan, Theory of a dead man, Switchfoot, Nickelback, The Fray and Owl City.

your opinion is very uninformed. How games did Adebayor play this season? Adebayor played just 26 games and in some, he came from the bench. Tevez was ever present except when he travelled to Argentina. How is Adebayor responsible for Tevez's 28 goals. Tevez is one the few players that can single handedly wreck a team. Check his records.
Milito has had an awesome season and its not becos Eto'o was played out of position. Inter's success this season is largely down to Milito. He has scored 28 goals so far and there's still the champions league final. Check Milito's record; he was third highest goal scorer last season when he was in Genoa. He was constantly among the top marksmen when he was with Zaragoza in Spain.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: How Will Arsenal Fair Without Fabregas by medjai(m): 9:49am On May 21, 2010
So Arsenal didnt get beaten by small clubs when Fab played. Sunderland beat Arsenal 1-0 and Fab played 90 minutes. Arsenal lost to Hull City at the Emirates and Fab played 90 minutes. I am not saying Fab isnt a good player, on the contrary he is absolutely world class. Arsenal is not a one man team. They have proven it this season. They played the bulk of this season without Van Persie, Gallas, Arshavin and Fabregas and they still finished 3rd.

LFP shits on the EPL anyday. Aside from the top four in the EPL, the others have no European relevance. Infact, when was the last time a team outside Man Utd and Liverpool win something in Europe? Check out the Spanish league, Sevilla, back to back Uefa cup champions. Atletico, current Europa league champions. Valencia won the Uefa cup back in 03(not so sure) but Benitez was in charge then. Valencia were Champions League runners up back to back(99/00 and 00/01).
Since 95 the EPL has been won by only 3 teams. Only one player has been crowned world footballer from the EPL.

^^^ i'm not an Arsenal fan, at all. Denilson and Ramsey can step in his shoes. You should know that players improve over time especially with a lot of play time. Did Fabregas become the Fabregas of today in one season? No. Infact, a lot of Arsenal fans werent impressed with Fabregas at first. He was heavily criticised and asserted that he cant step into Viera's shoe. He never used to score a lot of goals but this season, he was Arsenals top scorer. My point is Fabregas improved over time.
Fabregas is a big player for Arsenal but not one they cant do without. Werent Arsenal winning games in his absence? He even went injured for about 4 months last season(08/09) and Arsenal were not affected. Arsenal's game does not revolve around one man. For some part of this season, they lost Arshavin, Van Persie, Fab and they were still winning games when the likes of Denilson and Ramsey stepped in.

Papoose cudnt get a record deal. He got one with Jive records back in 2007, then he dropped the '1.5 million dollar man' mixtape but they wanted him to switch the style up and the contract was kind of exploitative so he and DJ Kayslay left. Since then the hype around him has sort of died but he still has enough underground cred. Truth is, Papoose is a sick lyricist anyday. Its just cos Hip hop is in ICU that someone like Pap cant get a deal.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Haters Of The Epl Pour Out Your Mind Here by medjai(m): 10:08pm On May 20, 2010
What the EPL really has going for them is packaging. Aside from the top 4 and City the other teams are mostly below average. I always tell people that Tottenham wont make the Champions League group stage. They simply dont have enough quality.
SportsRe: Lagerback:why I Picked Shittu by medjai(m): 8:58pm On May 20, 2010
Shittu doesnt deserve to be on the team to SA. I have always been a critic of Shittu; no single technique, no passing skill, no creativity, just baloons the ball. Yes, he plays his heart out but against quality opposition he will be exposed. Why do you think he doesnt start at Bolton? Its not every ball a defender is supposed to clear. Infact, defenders only clear the ball when there is pressure. Defenders are expected to start the attack. I have never seen Shittu make an attacking pass in all the matches he has played in.
I would have loved Yussuf Mohammed to be in that team. IMO, he was our best defender in Angola. He knows when and how to overlap. He single handedly saved us against Zambia.
Apam, Echiejile and maybe Taiwo are the only people in our backline. The others are just apologies
SportsRe: Joseph Yobo Says Only Teamwork Can Stop Messi by medjai(m): 8:37pm On May 20, 2010
The only thing we can do to stop the Argentines is to not field Shittu and Yobo, especially Yobo. The Argentine attack: Milito(28 goals), he could still score in the Champions League final, Tevez(28 goals), Messi(47 goals), Higuain(29 goals) and no Aguero yet.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: FC Barcelona Fan Thread: "Més Que Un Club" by medjai(m): 7:47pm On May 20, 2010
Fabregas is what Barca really needs and not Villa. Fabregas can shoot from outside the box and also has the pragmatic mentality(win regardless of how you play) from playing in one of EPL's biggest teams. Fab will bring a new kind of style to the Barca midfield and change the game pattern and make it less predictable.
I believe Ibra would be massive this coming season but he is likely to be shipped. He has already been offered to Chelsea and City.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: How Will Arsenal Fair Without Fabregas by medjai(m): 7:21pm On May 20, 2010
Fabregas' departure wont make much of a difference. He is an important player but not a vital player. There are players in the Arsenal team that can fill the void, e.g, Nasri, Denilson or even Ramsey. When he was injured at some point in the season, Arsenal were still winning games and they even went on to beat Porto, 5-0 in the Champions League.

bjmighty:
I started listening to Rap music back in 1994/1995. I had this Uncle then, he is late now, he was a big fan of 2pac, BIG, Coolio, LL cool J and legendary KRS1. He influenced me into listening to all these artiste but then 2pac caught my attention in all of them so i settled down to listen to no other rapper except 2Pac, i'll only slam Biggie just once in a while when i just feel. It was always 2pac and some Biggie and maybe some KRS maybe undecided But when 2pac got shot, i broke up with BIG and other and went back to my 2pac and listened to ONLY 2pac for a whole year. Then in 1999 i started bleeping with Nas, Jayz, Ice Cube, Dre and Snoop dogg. Basically, am not a fan of just rap music but Rap music with sick Lyrics. Am a Lyrical Rap fan. I'll never listen to Baby, Soulja boi, Lil jon e.t.c that just make noise on crunk beats. Right now am a big fan of:

- 2PAC a.k.a Killilluminati, Outlaw, Makavelli, the Don. The Immortal Thug! 21 gunshot salute. (I got a tat of him on my right arm, so u know am crazy bout Pac)
- Biggie Smalls. . . .Nigga is sick with rhymes.
- The Game . . . He is the future of the west coast and nigga is sick with em gangsta flows (400bars will be my best rap song of 2010)
- Papoose . . . . . . Damn it! , I just downloaded his discography, about 20 albums and mix-tapes in it. This guys is ILL!!!! From Alphabetical slaughter, Law library to bleep with Papoose to What is papoose. Papoose is my best lyricist as as now!!!!
Nas - Nas used to be my doppest but am not understanding escobar this days. Illmatic and Stillmatic are my fav.
Jayz - He is just there. I only kick him when i wann relax!!!
Eminem - I dont kick his albums but i always look forward to any collabo that has him on it
Lil wayne - Dude is ill with em sick flow. Lil wayne is the only artiste i know that will flow perfectly on Haruna Ishola or Obey's beat and kill it!!! grin grin grin
Ludacris - I trowey salute for Luda!!!!

So there u have it as for me oo
Papoose's 2010 mixtape, dont know if its dropped, will be his 21st mixtape. He doesnt have an album but you are right, dude is one of the sickest lyricist in the game and he hasnt really blown.
Nowadays, i listen to mixtapes more than i do albums. Most albums are commercially structured to achieve mainstream success. If you want to get the best of hard hip hop then mixtapes are the ish.
Hip hop has really drifted from being about tight lyrics to solely being about beats. Nobody cares bout what you saying anymore, just place it on nice beats and good to blow.

What has the EPL done to you people? Anyways, i believe its an over rated league. The only team i support in the EPL is Liverpool and thats because they play like a Spanish team and thats because they have a Spanish manager.
The LFP(LA LIGA) and Eredivisie(Dutch League) are the best leagues in Europe but those EPL teams know how to get the result.
