The same NFF that cant organise a friendly match proper. |
no mind Murray jare. Him no get shame. ![]() he won anyways |
Chei, Lagerbeer, u sabi speak pidgin. LOL! |
Robert Soderling beat Albert Montanes 6-4 7-5 2-6 6-3 to face a likely 4th round clash with Marin Cilic if he wins his tie. Andy Murray eased past Marcos Baghdatis 6-2 6-3 0-6 6-2 and will face Thomas Berdych in the 4th round. |
make as much money from William Hill now cos from the 4th and 5th round its gonna be real hard. Anyway dont put your money on Andy Murray. |
i heard Timaya has some frat. connect. Perhaps, his peeps fixed Nico Gravity. |
^^^Nigeria will face FIFA's wrath if they do this but CAF, CAF will give a thumbs up and urge us to continue |
I'll. hang on |

Murray's game was suspended twice. The first was due to fading lights. The other was for rain but he still won though. So Gael Monfils is out. Lost to an unseeded Foggini. |
Federer beat Alejandro Fala in the 2nd round:7-6 6-2 6-4. There were wins for Soderling, Tsonga and Cilic as well. Andy Murray and Andy Roddick are also through to the third round. Federer will meet Julian Reister in the third round |
I watched the game again early this morning and truthfully, both of them dont deserve a place in the team. The Saudi strikers were just having their day against them |
honeric, na sleep bin dey do me. I no sabi ugwe leaf o. dem dey use am cook soup ![]() |
^^^ which specie you smoke na. Have you forgotten that Nigeria faced Zambia in Angola and they ran our team ragged for 120 minutes before we won on penalties. |

^^^ true, thats another perspective |
If u dont meet the semi final target, just travel from SA back to Sweeden. No enter Naija o! |
Kanu should make the team on two grounds: 1. His quality is still unparalled in the team. Nobody has got the quality that Kanu has got in that team. Also his wealth of experience would be of huge importance to us. 2. It would be the perfect stage for Kanu to take a bow after his enormous contributions to the Super Eagles. We still remember Atlanta '96, the pass that got us a victory against Cameroon in the 2004 Nations Cup in Tunisia. Remember how he single handedly wrecked Algeria during the Germany 06 qualifiers even though we didnt qualify. These are just a few of the games that Kanu's brilliance has radiated. Yes, he lacks match fitness, he has lost his pace but remember that Kanu is the cat with 9lives. Kanu must go to SA or else we go kidnap Lagerback. |
I'll do group F with Italy. What happens after the group stage? |
He isnt finished product yet but he has got potential no doubt. I believe he will make to SA |
well, looks like he's the first name on the list and deservedly so. He needs to improve though especially his passing. |
Haruna Lukman made an impression on technical adviser, Lars Lagerback in Tuesday's 0-0 draw against Saudi Arabia. Team media officer, Idah Peterside told kickoffnigeria.com that Lagerback was impressed with the young midfielder. "Lagerback was very impressed with Haruna" Peterside said. "He says he has a future and that he can do a lot better." "It was his first cap and the coach decided to allow him play 90 minutes to show what he can do. And he showed a lot of promise" www.kickoff.com/mobilen/content/article/15667 |
the match will still take place. |
^^^Yes i agree wit u. Marin Cilic can give any of the top seeds a run for their money. Tsonga too, but he always fumbles when in matters most. Its funny you are considering Murray as one the big shots. That guy is nothing but a hype. I'll try to get the first round results of Cilic and Jo Tsonga. I know they progressed |
on paper we dont stand chance. Its the same thing if you consider form, history, preparation, etc. Infact, we dont stand a chance on all fronts but it will be foolish to rule out the Super eagles. I believe we will fly if our wings arent clipped. |
Its funny how people are judging from yesterdays game. There was nothing at stake so you dont expect to see the players at their best. Any way, i have always been anti Shittu. Shittu in my opinion is not a footballer. He just kicks the ball about. Yobo can still be considered but Shittu, hell no |
The non inclusion of Kanu in most of our games in Angola partly resulted in our poor performance. How many attackers do we have that have got the quality that Kanu has got? Its funny that some are judging from yesterdays game. How many of our attackers can hold the ball up and bring other attackers into play? Kanu is quality anytime, anyday. Like i earlier said, he should be the first name on the list. |
He shouldnt only make the squad, he should be the first name on the list. |
World number 2 Rafael Nadal continued his brilliant form as he beat Frenchman, Gianni Mina in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2, 6-2. There was an upset yesterday as womens number 9, Dinara Safina was beaten by Kimiko Date-Krumo, 3-6, 6-4, 7-5. There were victories for American dream, Andy Roddick as he beat Finish, Jarkko Nimminen, 6-2, 4-6, 4-6, 7-6, 6-3 and Justin Henin who beat Tsvetana Pironkova, 6-4, 6-3. |
Its just a friendly game and our first competitive game since Angola so dont expect the players to give 110%. The pitch itself was more like a training ground. I wasnt disappointed in their play. They were simply taking things easy. I really do hope Suswam Peters and Haruna Lukman make the final 23. Lukman can really dominate the midfield and that is something we lack in our team. Suswam has potential and i think he deserves to take Odiahs place. |
Barely 24 hours after Luton Town was announced as the venue of the match against Colombia, the venue has been changed to Milton Keynes. NFF is a disgrace. |
