Almunia was solid, so was the back 4. . .but too many misplaced passes in the midfield and poor attack-midfield coordination.

I don't see a trend following the following games - the other teams come to play as well and deserve credit when they do their job at neutralizing the opposition.

Talking about 5 points lead and all that is immaterial, the table changes from week to week, you are top now and deservedly so. Lets see how things turn out, if all that the fixture list has helped us with is to be one point off the pace. . .then its not too bad for a team being written off a few short months back.

I'm on the satellite package and i was able to watch the match sha.

Well I was able to watch the match from the last 10 minutes in the 1st half. You are not the only one who has the satellite package and was watching the matches. I know of a guy who had 2 decoders, one with 3 months access working and the second with 6 months which was not working, so I believe they had a problem with people who had 6 months and 1 year access, but they apologized and said problem was from Eutelsat.

It was a match in which which ever team won, it would have always been deserved. Both teams played well, pressure was on from both ways and in my opinion, Peter Cech or Almunia (hope I have the spelling right) should be awarded man of the match. Both keepers had their fair share of saves andd the macth could have gone either way.

Once again, congrats and hopefully we shall meet again at Stamford bridge in March or so. Till then, as I keep telling everyone, the title race is still on and even stronger now than before. Cheers!

I think Man of The Match tonight should be shared between Joe Cole and Michael Essien. Both of them were at their best. Infact, the whole team has been at their best in recent time. I told everyone here, especially those Gunners fans who were running their mouth here, that time will tell.  Funny a lot of FFFFFOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLSSSS were predicting relegation.

@folahann you asked yesterday what was the reason for Chelsea drawing 0 - 0 with Schalke? Perhaps its for the same reason Arsenal drew to a cheap Slava 0 - 0 . In the whole match, the Slava keeper made one save from Arsenal (Adebayor) in the 85th minute which was the only shot on target  . Slava were even denied a penalty
