Investment Ads8 Nigerian Stocks You Can Buy For Less Than ₦100 And How Much ₦50,000 Can Get. by meeketta(op): 3:51pm On Jun 11
One of the biggest misconceptions about investing in the Nigerian stock market is that you need hundreds of thousands or even millions of naira to get started.

The truth is, you can begin with what you have.

As of the latest prices available on the Nigerian Exchange, here are 8 stocks trading below ₦100 per share and approximately how many units ₦50,000 can buy you.

1. Access Holdings (ACCESSCORP)
Current Price: ₦25.00
₦50,000 ÷ ₦25.00 = 2,000 units

2. Fidelity Bank (FIDELITYBK)
Current Price: ₦19.95
₦50,000 ÷ ₦23.50 = 2,127 units

3. FCMB Group (FCMB)
Current Price: ₦11.00
₦50,000 ÷ ₦11.00 = 4,545 units

4. Sterling Financial Holdings (STERLINGNG)
Current Price: ₦7.00
₦50,000 ÷ ₦7.00 = 7,142 units

5. International Breweries (INTBREW)
Current Price: ₦12.10
₦50,000 ÷ ₦14.80 = 3,378 units

6. Fidson Healthcare (FIDSON)
Current Price: ₦101.20
₦50,000 ÷ ₦73.10 = 684 units

7. Learn Africa (LEARNAFRCA)
Current Price: ₦11
₦50,000 ÷ ₦5.95 = 8,403 units

8. Neimeth International Pharmaceuticals (NEIMETH)

Current Price: ₦9.15
₦50,000 ÷ ₦8.45 = 5,917 units

Now, does this mean you should rush and buy any stock below ₦100?

Absolutely not.

A low share price does not automatically make a stock a good investment. Before investing, consider factors such as:

• The company's financial performance
• Dividend history
• Industry outlook
• Growth potential
• Your own investment goals

The goal is not just to buy *cheap stocks*. The goal is to buy quality businesses at reasonable prices.

The beautiful thing about the Nigerian stock market is that it allows everyday people to participate in wealth creation, even with modest amounts.

You do not have to wait until you have millions before you start investing.

Start where you are. Learn as you grow.

If you would like to learn how to open a stock brokerage account, fund it, analyse stocks properly, and begin investing in the Nigerian stock market with confidence, send me a DM with the word "INVEST" or drop "INTERESTED" in the comments.

I will show you the exact process I use and teach others.

InvestmentSpacex Is Going Public Tomorrow. Here Is What You Must Know Before You Invest. by meeketta(op): 7:38am On Jun 11
This could go down as one of the biggest moments in modern investing.

Elon Musk's SpaceX is expected to begin trading publicly tomorrow, and if everything goes as planned, it could become the largest IPO in history.

But before you rush to buy the stock because of the hype, here are a few things you should understand.

1. Current Market Valuation:

SpaceX is targeting a valuation of approximately $1.75 trillion to $1.77 trillion.

To put that into perspective, that would immediately place it among the most valuable companies in the world, ahead of many long established businesses.

The company also plans to raise around $75 billion from the offering, making it the biggest IPO ever recorded.

2. IPO Price Per Share

The IPO price has been set at $135 per share.

The stock is expected to trade under the ticker symbol SPCX on the Nasdaq exchange.

Interestingly, SpaceX broke with tradition by announcing its IPO price well ahead of the listing date instead of using the usual pricing range system.

3. What Does SpaceX Actually Do?

Most people think SpaceX only launches rockets.

That is far from the truth.

The company generates revenue from multiple business segments:

• Starlink – satellite internet services operating across dozens of countries.

• Launch Services – commercial satellite launches and government contracts.
• NASA Partnerships – transporting astronauts and cargo to space.

• Starship Development – building reusable spacecraft designed for future Moon and Mars missions.

SpaceX is essentially operating at the intersection of space exploration, telecommunications, defence technology, and advanced manufacturing.

4. Why Are Investors Excited?

Investors are betting on the future.

They believe SpaceX could dominate industries that are still in their early stages today, particularly satellite internet and commercial space travel.

Reports suggest investor demand has already exceeded the number of shares available.

5. The Risks You Should Know

A great company is not always a great investment at every price.

At a valuation close to $1.8 trillion, investors are paying a premium for future growth.

Space exploration is capital intensive, highly regulated, and carries execution risks.

So, do your own research before investing.

The goal is not to buy what is popular. The goal is to buy what makes sense for your financial goals.

Would you invest in SpaceX at $135 per share, or would you rather wait and watch how the market reacts first?

InvestmentOne Nigerian Just Earned ₦189 Billion Without Going To Work. (FULL STORY BELOW) by meeketta(op): 5:03pm On Jun 09
One Nigerian Just Earned ₦189 Billion Without Going to Work. Here Is the Lesson Most People Are Missing

While many Nigerians are thinking about how to save their next ₦50,000...

One man just received ₦189.7 billion.

Not as salary.

Not from a side hustle.

Not from winning a contract.

He earned it simply because he owned shares in a profitable company.

That man is AbdulSamad Rabiu.

BUA Cement recently released its 2025 financial results, and the numbers were remarkable.

The company generated ₦1.18 trillion in revenue and grew its profit after tax from ₦73.9 billion to ₦356 billion in just one year.

That is a 382 percent increase in profit.

Because of this performance, the company approved a dividend payment of ₦10 for every share owned by investors.

Now, here is the interesting part.

AbdulSamad Rabiu personally owns about 18.97 billion shares in BUA Cement, representing roughly 56 percent of the company.

So when the dividend was declared, his personal share of the payout came to approximately ₦189.7 billion.

Just from owning shares.

Let that sink in for a moment.

This is why serious investors constantly talk about ownership.

The average person works for money.

Investors gradually build assets that pay them, whether they are working or not.

No, you do not need billions to start.

You may not even have ₦1 million.

But the principle remains the same.

You can buy shares in solid companies.

You can hold them for the long term.

You can reinvest your dividends.

And over time, you give compounding a chance to work in your favour.

The Nigerian stock market has several companies that have consistently rewarded shareholders through dividends and capital appreciation.

The biggest mistake is assuming that investing is only for the wealthy.

It is not.

The wealthy often became wealthier because they understood the power of ownership.

So here is a question for you:

Are you only earning income from your labour, or are you also building assets that can pay you in the future?

₦50,000 Can Give You 390 Units of Zenith Bank Shares.

Here's how ⬇️

You really don't need millions to start your investment journey.

Although ₦50,000 might seem like a lot of money to some people, it's not a must that you start there.

The Nigerian stock market operates in a way that even with as little as ₦1,000, you can start investing in major companies.

You don't need a lump sum to start.

But if you have at least ₦50,000, then you should know that it can buy you approximately 390 units of Zenith Bank shares. That automatically makes you a shareholder of the company and an investor.

As the company grows, your money grows too.

My Zenith Bank stock has gained over 100% within the last six months.

I bought when it was selling for ₦63 per share earlier this year. As of today's market, Zenith Bank shares are selling for about ₦128 per share.

That means a gain of ₦65 per share.

A 100% increase on ₦63 would be ₦126, so at ₦128, the return is slightly above 100%.

And the truth is, I didn't start with a huge amount. I started small and grew over time. Today, I have a good stake in Zenith Bank.

Earlier in May, Zenith Bank paid a dividend of ₦11 per share.

I know how much I received.

You might wonder why I'm telling you this.

This is simply to encourage you to start investing in the stock market instead of keeping your money idle in a savings account while inflation gradually reduces its value.

Today, everyone has direct access to the Nigerian stock market. You can buy and sell stocks of your choice without any restrictions.

This is what many people don't know.

I made a post recently about how the NGX has delivered over 340% growth within the past three years.

That means if you had invested ₦100,000 in a company that eventually delivered a 340% return, your investment would have grown to approximately ₦440,000.

That's ₦340,000 in profit plus your original ₦100,000 capital.

And that's excluding dividends if the company also pays dividends.

₦100,000 became over ₦400,000.

Now imagine investing ₦1,000,000 in a stock that delivered the same performance.

Your investment could have grown to approximately ₦4.4 million.

Again, that's excluding dividends.

This is not a get rich quick scheme.

It is strategic investing, something many wealthy people understand and use to build long term wealth.

Not everyone is rich, but almost everyone earns something.

From that little you earn, you can set aside a portion, invest consistently, and grow your wealth over time.

The 4 Account Numbers Every Nigerian Investor Should Understand

One thing I've noticed is that many people want to invest in Nigerian stocks, but they get confused when they start hearing terms like CHN, CSCS, settlement account, and stockbroker account.

At first, all these names can sound technical.

The truth is that they are actually very simple once you understand what each one does.

If you're new to investing, here are the four account numbers you should know.

1. Stockbroker Account Number

This is usually the first account you open when you decide to start investing.

A stockbroker is simply the company that helps you buy and sell shares on the stock market.

Think of this account as your investing dashboard.

It is where you place buy and sell orders, monitor your investments, view your portfolio, and receive updates about your transactions.

Without a stockbroker account, you cannot directly buy shares on the Nigerian stock market.

2. CHN (Clearing House Number)

This is your unique identity as an investor.

Just as every Nigerian has a unique phone number or NIN, every investor has a unique CHN.

Once it is assigned to you, it stays with you and helps identify your transactions in the market.

No matter how many stocks you buy, your CHN helps link those investments back to you.

3. CSCS Account Number

This is one of the most important accounts every investor should understand.

Many beginners assume that their shares are stored with their stockbroker.

They are not.

Your shares are actually kept in a CSCS account.

Think of it like this:

When you buy money for your bank account, the money is kept by the bank, not by the person who introduced you to the bank.

In the same way, your stockbroker helps you buy shares, but the shares are safely stored in your CSCS account under your name.

This is what proves ownership of your investments.

4. Settlement Bank Account

This is simply the bank account linked to your investment account.

Whenever you sell shares, receive dividend payments, or withdraw funds from your investment account, the money is sent here.

It is the account that connects your investments to your everyday finances.

Finally, If investing has ever seemed complicated, don't worry.

Just remember this:

Your stockbroker account helps you buy and sell shares.

Your CHN identifies you in the market.

Your CSCS account stores your shares.

And your settlement account receives your money.

Once you understand these four accounts, you already know more than many people who are just starting their investing journey.

InvestmentThe 3 Ways To Make Money From Nigerian Stocks by meeketta(op): 5:17pm On Jun 07
Most people only know one.

Whenever people hear about investing in stocks, the first thing that comes to their mind is buying low and selling high.

While that is true, it is only one of the ways investors make money in the stock market.

In reality, there are three major ways investors make money from Nigerian stocks.

Let me break them down simply.

1. Capital Appreciation

This is the most popular one.

Capital appreciation simply means your stock increases in value.

For example, imagine you bought shares of GTCO at ₦50 per share.

If the stock later rises to ₦100 per share, your investment has doubled.

That means every ₦100,000 invested would have become ₦200,000.

Many investors have made significant returns from stocks like GTCO, Zenith Bank, Presco, Okomu Oil, BUA Cement and Vitafoam through capital appreciation alone.

This is the method most people know.

But it is not the only one.

2. Dividends

This is where many beginners get surprised.

When a company makes profits, it may decide to share part of those profits with shareholders.

That payment is called a dividend.

For example, if a company declares a dividend of ₦10 per share and you own 1,000 shares, you receive ₦10,000.

The beautiful thing is that you can receive dividends even if you do not sell your shares.

Some Nigerian companies have built strong reputations for paying consistent dividends year after year.

Examples include Zenith Bank, GTCO, Stanbic IBTC and several others.

This is one reason many long term investors love quality dividend stocks.

3. Bonus Shares

This is the least understood method.

Sometimes companies reward shareholders by issuing additional shares at no extra cost.

These are called bonus shares.

For example, a company may declare a 1 for 5 bonus issue.

This means if you own 5,000 shares, you receive an additional 1,000 shares for free.

You do not pay for them.

They are simply added to your portfolio.

Over time, bonus shares can significantly increase the number of shares you own and improve your long term returns.

The lesson here is simple.

Stocks are not just about buying and selling.

You can make money from price growth.

You can make money from dividends.

And you can benefit from bonus shares.

The more you understand these three income streams, the better positioned you will be to build wealth through the Nigerian stock market.

InvestmentThe Nigerian Stock Market Has Returned About 348% Under President Tinubu In Just by meeketta(op): 11:29am On Jun 06
The Nigerian stock market has returned about 348% under President Tinubu in just 3 years.

Before some people misunderstand this post, let me make something clear.

This does not mean I support everything the administration has done.

There are areas where many Nigerians are still dissatisfied and there are genuine concerns about the economy and cost of living.

But facts are facts.

And when something performs well, it is only fair to acknowledge it.

Since President Tinubu assumed office in May 2023, the NGX All Share Index has moved from about 55,769 points to almost 250,000 points.

That represents a gain of roughly 348% in just three years.

A 348% return means that ₦100,000 invested in a basket that matched the market's performance would now be worth approximately ₦448,000.

Here is the breakdown.

₦100,000 invested would become about ₦448,000.

₦500,000 invested would become about ₦2.24 million.

₦1,000,000 invested would become about ₦4.48 million.

The higher the amount invested, the greater the potential return.

And this is before considering dividends paid by many companies during the period.

What is even more interesting is that several individual stocks have outperformed the broader market.

Some banking, insurance and consumer goods stocks have delivered returns of over 400%, 500% and even higher within this bull market.

This is one of the strongest periods the Nigerian stock market has experienced in many years.

While many people focused only on the negative news, investors who positioned themselves in quality companies were quietly growing their wealth.

The lesson here is simple.

✅Do not ignore investing.
✅You do not need millions to start.
✅You do not need to be an expert to begin learning.

The earlier you start understanding how investing works, the better your chances of building long term wealth.

The Nigerian stock market has rewarded patient investors massively over the last three years.

If you have not started investing yet, it may be time to have a serious rethink.

This is not financial advice.
Always do your own research before investing.

InvestmentWhat Is A Share? What Is A Stock? Let Me Break It Down Simply. by meeketta(op): 7:22pm On Jun 05
What Is a Share? What Is a Stock? Let Me Break It Down Simply.

A lot of people hear words like shares, stocks, dividends and portfolio and immediately think investing is complicated.

It is not.

Let me explain it in simple street language.

📌 What Is a Share?

A share is a small ownership unit in a company.

For example, if you buy shares of Zenith Bank, GTCO or Dangote Cement, you automatically become one of the owners of that company.

Not the only owner.

Just one of the many owners.

The more shares you own, the bigger your ownership.

📌 What Is a Stock?

A stock simply refers to the company you are investing in.

When someone says, "I bought bank stocks," it means they bought shares in one or more banking companies.

In simple terms, shares are the pieces while stock is the investment itself.

📌 What Is a Dividend?

A dividend is money a company shares with its investors from its profits.

Think of it as your reward for being an owner.

For example, if a company pays ₦10 dividend per share and you own 1,000 shares, you receive ₦10,000.

That money is paid directly to you.

📌 What Is a Portfolio?

Your portfolio is simply your collection of investments.

If you own Zenith Bank shares, GTCO shares and Dangote Cement shares, all of them together make up your portfolio.

Think of it as your investment bag.

Everything you own is inside that bag.

📌 What Is Market Capitalization?

This sounds complicated but it is very simple.

Market capitalization, often called Market Cap, is the total value of a company on the stock market.

The bigger the market cap, the bigger the company.

That is why companies like Dangote Cement and GTCO are considered some of the biggest companies on the NGX.

The lesson here is simple.

Before you start investing, learn the language of investing.

Once you understand basic words like share, stock, dividend and portfolio, the stock market becomes far less intimidating.

And trust me, learning these few terms can save you years of confusion.

Dangote Refinery is planning to go public on a dual exchange, and a lot of investors are already positioning themselves to get in early before the real demand kicks in.

If you are serious about investing, this is one of those opportunities you should understand properly before the crowd rushes in.

Here is a simple breakdown of how to buy it when it becomes available.

First, you need a stockbroking account. This is where your investments will be processed and managed. Without it, you cannot participate in any IPO on the Nigerian Exchange.

Second, fund your trading account. You can transfer money from your bank account into your stockbroker wallet so you are ready when the IPO opens.

Third, watch out for the official IPO announcement. The offer price, date of subscription, and number of shares will be clearly stated by the exchange and your broker.

Fourth, place your subscription order through your stockbroker or trading app once the IPO is open. You simply select the quantity of shares you want and submit.

Fifth, wait for allocation. If demand is high, you may receive partial shares based on how the IPO is structured.

This is how IPO investing works in simple terms.

InvestmentIf You Earn Below ₦200k/month And Invest Nothing, Read This Before It's Too Late by meeketta(op): 7:43am On Jun 05
If you earn below ₦200,000 every month and invest nothing, read this before it's too late.

One of the biggest lies many people believe is that they need to earn millions before they can start investing.

That is not true.

The truth is that wealth is not built by salary alone.

A salary pays your bills.

Investments build your future.

If all you do is earn money, spend money and wait for the next salary alert, you may remain in the same financial position for many years.

This is why many people who earn decent salaries today are still struggling financially.

Not because they don't earn.

But because they don't invest.

Let me tell you something.

You do not need ₦1 million before you start investing.

You do not need ₦500,000 before you start investing.

You do not even need ₦200,000 before you start investing.

Even if you earn ₦100,000 monthly.

Even if you earn ₦70,000 monthly.

Even if you earn less than ₦50,000 monthly.

You can still start.

The amount is not the problem.

The knowledge and discipline are usually the problem.

Many people can spend ₦5,000 on shawarma.

They can spend ₦10,000 on things they don't really need.

But when it comes to investing ₦5,000 or ₦10,000 for their future, they suddenly believe the amount is too small.

That mindset is dangerous.

Because small investments done consistently can grow into something significant over time.

Today, there are different investment opportunities available to ordinary Nigerians.

•You can invest in stocks.

•You can invest in mutual funds.

•You can invest in treasury bills.

•You can invest in fixed income products.

Some of these investments allow you to start with surprisingly small amounts.

The most important thing is not how much you start with.

The most important thing is that you start.

Because every year you delay investing is a year you lose the power of growth and compounding.

The people building wealth are not always the highest earners.

Many times, they are simply the people who learned how to make their money work for them.

So if you earn below ₦200,000 monthly, don't use your income as an excuse.

Start learning. Start small. Start investing.

Your future self will thank you for it.

This is not financial advice.

Always do your own research before investing.

Most people think making money from stocks takes many years.

But sometimes the stock market rewards patient investors much faster than expected.

While many Nigerians were busy paying bills, worrying about fuel prices, and struggling with the economy, some stocks on the Nigerian Exchange quietly delivered returns that most businesses would struggle to achieve in several years.

If you had invested ₦50,000 in some of these companies at the beginning of 2026, your money could have multiplied several times within just a few months. ([Nairametrics][1])

7. Union Dicon Salt

8. Berger Paints

A ₦50,000 investment in a stock that gained 365% would be worth about ₦232,500.

A ₦50,000 investment in a stock that gained 290% would be worth about ₦195,000. ([Nairametrics][1])

This is why I always say that many Nigerians focus only on saving money but never learn how to make their money work for them.

The goal is not to chase every stock that is going up.

The real lesson here is to understand that opportunities exist in the stock market for those who are willing to learn, do proper research, and stay invested.

Many of these companies were available at much lower prices months ago, but most people ignored them because nobody was talking about them.

By the time everyone starts talking about a stock, a large part of the opportunity may already be gone.

The stock market rewards knowledge, patience, and consistency.

InvestmentHow To Create A Stock Trading Account In Nigeria by meeketta(op): 1:23pm On Jun 04
Many people want to start investing in stocks but do not know where to begin.

The good news is that opening a trading account is easier than most people think. You can complete the process from your phone within a short time if you have the right documents.

Before any broker can open a trading account for you, there are 3 important documents you must have.

1. A Valid ID Card

This is used to confirm your identity. You can use your NIN slip, Voter's Card, Driver's Licence, International Passport, or any other government approved means of identification.

Make sure the details on the ID are correct and clearly visible.

2. An Active Bank Account With a Valid BVN

Your bank account is where dividends and other investment proceeds will be paid.

The BVN helps verify your identity and protects your account from fraud. Ensure the name on your bank account matches the name on your ID card.

3. Proof of Address

Brokers are required to verify where their customers live.

You can use a utility bill, bank statement, tenancy agreement, or any valid document that clearly shows your name and address.

Once you have these three documents ready, opening a trading account becomes very easy.

Jobs/Vacancies3 In-demand Online Jobs Africans Ignore At Their Own Risk by meeketta(op): 8:50pm On Jan 21
3 In-Demand Online Jobs Africans Ignore at Their Own Risk

Most people think there are no jobs online.
That is not true.

The real problem is that many Africans are looking for the wrong kind of jobs. They want titles, offices, and certificates. Meanwhile, the internet is paying people for skills, not degrees.

Here are three online jobs that are in high demand right now, yet many Africans still ignore them.

1. Content Writing and Copywriting
Every business online needs words.
Sales pages, captions, emails, ads, blogs. None of these work without writing.

You don’t need perfect English. You just need to write clearly and solve problems. With the help of AI, writing has become even easier. Many businesses are ready to pay monthly for someone who can help them communicate better. This is one of the fastest ways to earn online.

2. Graphic Design Using Phone Apps
Many people think design needs a laptop. It doesn’t.

With phone apps like PixelLab and Canva, people are designing flyers, Instagram posts, carousels, and ads for small businesses. Local brands, coaches, and online sellers need designs every week. Simple designs pay consistently. You don’t need to be the best. You just need to be reliable.

3. Video Content Support (Faceless)
Videos are everywhere. Businesses want videos, but many don’t know how to create them.

You can help with simple tasks like editing short videos, adding subtitles, or turning text into video slides. No camera. No face. Just basic skills and consistency. This skill is growing fast because video sells more than text.

The truth is simple.
Online money is not about luck. It is about learning what people already pay for and positioning yourself there.

If you are willing to learn one of these skills and stay consistent, the internet will pay you.
