What used to define how successful a person would become, a lot of those things don't really matter anymore.
Many things have been introduced to the system that can make anyone very rich.

I was watching a particular movie. It was the story of how Lamborghini came to be. I would gladly recommend it.
Ferruccio Lamborghini, the founder of Lamborghini, had a father who was a farmer. When Ferruccio came back from World War II, where he joined the army to fight, he told his father that he wanted to start building tractors for small farmers at a very affordable rate.

The father, who was into farming, tried to discourage him and advised him to stick with the family’s source of livelihood, which was farming.
At that time, farming was the major source of income and livelihood. It was during the agrarian era.

Everybody then was into farming; very few people were in other businesses as a source of livelihood.
Cugini Aranti was the major, and if I’m not mistaken, the only producer of tractors in Italy at that time.

So, when Ferruccio told his father that he was going into making tractors, the father told him he would just waste his life because such businesses didn’t thrive, and the known person making tractors was Cugini Aranti.

Regardless of that, Ferruccio didn’t take his father’s advice. He told him, "The world has changed. And farming is not everything anymore."

Ferruccio went on to start building tractors with his friends. Although the friends broke away from the company due to a problem they had, Ferruccio stayed and built the company. Over time, he went into building cars.
And today, we have Lamborghini as one of the most exotic cars.

What’s the lesson?

"Many things are not everything anymore."

In the last few years, many skills, professions, jobs, and careers have been introduced into the market, and most of them don’t require a university degree to get into.
You just have to learn and try to build a life from it.
If I were to be a little more specific, you might not need a white-collar or blue-collar job to make a living.
You might not need to go to school (higher institution) to build a comfortable life for yourself.
Many things have really changed.
All you need is to find any promising area and pour yourself into it.
Recently, I saw a post about a guy whose video editing skills took him overseas. Just knowing how to edit videos, and he was flown overseas.

I hope you’re getting the point.
Many things that we consider everything don’t really matter that much.

These skills are very essential and vital regardless of what you are studying in school. The importance of these skills can really position you and make you more proficient in the labor market. Not having them, on the other hand, can be very detrimental to anyone.

First on the list is 1. PUBLIC SPEAKING: This is an essential skill everyone needs to learn and master regardless of the area of specialization. This is simply the act of communicating concisely and precisely without mixing words or stage fright. It also involves persuasive talking—talking people into buying your idea or what you have to offer. Public speaking does not only mean you must be addressing the crowd often; there are times you might need to pitch your idea, business plan, or offer to someone or face a board. If you can't state what it is that you want or want them to do, you might lose out, no matter how great your offer is.

5. SELF-DISCIPLINE: This is a basic fundamental skill for material success. Without it, the others above are useless and wouldn't be accomplished. Self-discipline simply means doing what you should do when you should, whether it is convenient or not. To classify a disciplined life, these attributes are visible: 1. Operate by schedule 2. Function without requiring supervision 3. Places value on essentials 4. Order his priority intelligibly 5. Make the most of his time.
