Please can someone help.

meelife:
Hi all what is the best advise for me please as regards choice of programme that will fly for visa and PR purpose.
First degree in chemistry and work experience in this field.
As an advise by seniors, one can do PDG in teaching which is one year but after all search and contacts to all applicable Universities, the PGD teaching is now converted to Masters in Teaching, which makes it 2 years.

Is it advisable I go for a masters in teaching or chemistry programme?

As advised ,complete and put in all information of your previous refusals and give the reasons which the refusing country gave as they will verify.I know someone who did not mention UK visa refusal..the VO wrote him and asked ,later he provided information and was granted his study visa.
So previous refusals from other country is not a reason to deny visa when it's not a criminal case.
Since you know what the UK reason is,for US just state or summarise the sentence provided in the blue form.Probably among the info in the form they may have ticked a reason among a set of options.
Remember to provide all the vital info from it.

Now to clear the doubts of the VO,ensure you address the reasons UK and US gave.
E.g for your application ensure you meet Australia financial requirements etc.

nogara:
House, please render your friendly, brotherly, candid and realistic advice to me. I have two previous visa refusals from UK and US. They are both visiting visa issue. The UK was based on finance while the US was the general blue paper they give.
The question now is, How do I address these issues so as to clear the doubts of the VO.
Note : I have travelled to one of the South African countries last year.

A thousand apologies.
These are the accreditated programs that will allow you register as listed by the registration body for teachers in Western Australia(for example) . They are all valid for registration (but check accreditation expiry date of the course sha) and EDUCATION PGDs are very much acceptable too, however, only apply from the ones listed here. Your agent doesn't know what he/she is saying and you yourself don't understand what I said.
1. Apply for accredited PGD in teaching/education which is a 12month course
2. As you are graduating from this PGD, apply for any masters you really always wanted in the first place extending your stay in Australia. At the same time apply for your PR with the teaching/education PGD
3. While enrolled in this 2nd Msc, wait for PR to be approved/granted
4. Continue with or drop out of Msc, the choice is yours

If you have waited for about 10 days, i think you should go to DHL and check. I submitted on the 9th, and I didn't get any email or message, but I decided to check today and it was there.

Thanks for this advise,
Just to enquire, Does Teaching have an adavantage over Education, I ask because, while searching several Universities,;its been difficult to find a University that offers PGD in Teaching, but rather few offer PGD in Education,Most offer Masters in Teaching aand some others Masters in Education.
Example A University wrote on their website that base on the request from the Government they have converted PDG in Teaching to Masters in Teaching from 2018.
So what is the best advise for this situation.

I have been mislead by an agent before so I dont want a repitition, Considering the fact that Australia requires agents for applications.
Just for clarification,I discussed this with my agent as regards 1 year programme (PDG in Teaching) giving an opportunity to apply for PR, he said one must do a 2 year programme to be eligible to apply for PR, please is there more info/explanation/ a link to guide me on this.
Thanks in anticipation
gunpoint:
Hi everyone. If you are coming here solely to chase residency and you have a core science background (meaning you studied Maths, Physics, Chemistry, IT, Engineering, Biology etc) and you wana go by the study route (that is using school here to get PR), a cheap and tested option is to come and do the PGD in teaching (not education oh, TEACHING).
Its relatively cheap, its only 12 mnts and it will get you PR. Ofcos you have to apply for another course at the end of this PGD while you PR is loading but you can then do any course your heart truly desires, knowing fully well your PR is in the pipeline. And the beauty about it is you can work as a teacher and earn good money while studying that course you originally wanted to study.
Please reconfirm which of the levels is on the SOL again as there is preschool teacher, primary school teacher and secondary school teacher and i believe at this time they are still all on the list. For now SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHER is best, however, always check before you apply.
Another benefit of using a 12month course to chase PR is you can be done before immigration rules change again. And did i mention its relatively cheap and teachers earn good money? Yes I did
Travel / Re: General Australian Student Visa Enquiries Part 3 by meelife: 7:43pm On Apr 14, 2018
Thank you Gunpoint ,
Its now clear.
gunpoint:

I am sure i have said teaching like 599 times and not education, if you apply for a PGD in education you are on your own.
Again spin some cock&bull story in your SOP, about how you were a teacher in NYSC, about how you were a lesson teacher in uni, about how you have a passion for fixing the future of Nigeria by catching kids young before they lose their way. Its just story telling
Again when ever you see a skill on SOL, google its ANZSCO code (its the set of numbers beside the skill) and make sure you masters will give you those skills. Chemist doesn't necessarily equate to studying chemistry oh.
Finally, different assessment bodies have different levels of difficulty, if you course will fall under vetassess or Australian Institute of Management, please avoid that course, especially AIM, you will need like 7years of post study experience to pass it oh

Why do you want to take the English test, most universities in Canada offer a waiver to applicants from Nigeria.

Confirm the requirements of the school before you take the test and i dont think they use ielts. Most schools only accept TOEFL.

Emphasis on "Most"

I have BSc in chemistry.I intend applying for Masters in Nursing.I do not have any work experience in Nursing but rather in the field of chemistry.
1-Do you think I will gain admission?
2-If I gain admission do you think it will be a challenge for visa , Will the CO ask why Chemistry first degree and now nursing?

Thank you.
