So, I have a couple of questions please...

1) Has any Atlanta mama gone to renew visa and granted of late? I had my baby in Atlanta in 2017, uninsured and self paid.... Total bill was a little bit over 10k but I only have receipts for 9875 here because I already got back to Naija before I got the remaining ones which were about 500 dollars and I just paid over the phone. Asides those, ive got all my receipts and itemized bill showing huge discount. Btw, I used Piedmont Atlanta hospital.

2) Now, we use Cigna Global Insurance and we can get any medical treatment anywhere in the world provided the hospital and the doctor accept the insurance. I intend using Piedmont again and fortunately, they accept this insurance, so, I’ll be going as an insured patient, (i.e no discount palaver this time around).

3) My question is this; what are my chances? I paid all my bills the first time, but still d huge discount which I didn’t know about till I got the itemized bill. Now, with our new insurance, do I stand a better of getting my Visa or I should just look for a very expensive hospital and go as a self-paying patient and present my bills later to my Cigna for a refund.

Its not good to present this for intervew with the current trends, as they have offered you huge discounts of 75% and 65% if you pay at once of in 5 installments.The issue with visa officers is they dont want to see anything like discount on any bill.

Please see what previous post states I used Rose medical center back in 2016. There are cheaper options but I wouldn’t advise them due to current trends in visa renewal

Please after study permit visa has been refused,can one view the details (all information & data) that was submitted for study permit just to know what was actually inputed in a case where an agent entered the data on behalf of a prospective student.

The specfic area is for family.

I dont know if there is a section that askes "if the applicant has a cousin in Canada?" Is there any of such question in the online application?

For direct EE,MSc increases your CRS score.BSc will be fine only if any of the couple is young in age.You can calculate using the CRS tool and you will see your score.
For PNP if you have just BSc it's not a problem as the PNP nomination gives you 600 points.

1-How many times can the student defer admission before actually starting the programme?
2-Can fees be refunded if say after 2 deferrals the students does not intend studying again probably due to personal reasons?

Your diploma can be BEFORE or AFTER your first degree.

It also can't be a professional development/ training certificate. The certificate must be graded or have credits and you must be able to receive a transcript at the end of the program (for ECA)

Its something WES gets to do, when I applied they sent a verification request to my school.
If you know someone in your exams and records contact the person so they can reply and confirm the tanscript was actually sent by them.This will avoid delay.

I have WES which has been evaluated as Bachelors Degree 4 years.
I did 1 year diploma before proceeding to first degree. The first degree was actually started from Year 2, however WES evaluated it as 4 years Bachelors probably because te number of years in school was 4 (You kow Niaja strike and delays) or due to the courses covered during the programme.

Now can I apply to evaluate this 1 year diploma with WES or is not necessary since I continued with BSc? if I can apply for evaluation of the diploma
after the evaulation the in Level of Education in EE CRS calculator or pool does it qualify me to choose the category of Two or more Certificates,diplomas or degrees,One must be a programme of 3 years or More??

OK,I get you.As it's available for visa subclass 186 which is Employer nomination,should one complete studies and starts work in Australia can the person now apply for PR under the 186 stream for Pr?or PR is just available through 189,190 & 489 only?

Nominating a closely related occupation means another occupation that is on 189 list but has similar job functions as per Anzco job code right?

Even if you complete PhD and it is not available for any of the three subclass, you cannot apply for PR. However, immigration policies keep changing, the occupation maybe restored on the list later.

You will claim 5 years since it is the same occupation but different companies. The company you work doesn't matter as long as you are performing same job functions.

2. Some occupations have too many applicants in the pool. The department decided to push up the invitation points for those occupations to make things easier for themselves.

All pro-rata occupations need at least 75points to have hope of invitation as it is the case currently. Things may change later because immigration policies get reviewed periodically.

Does it mean the lowest score they gave invite is 70?
If one has above 60 but below 70 is there a chancece of being invited?

Compnay B from 2016--Present,
In calculating my skilled employment points , how many years can I claim for (in the past 10 years)?
Is it 5 years or 3 years?

In the DHA website I read for the code 234211 -Chemist ,the Visa subclasses (streams or type) are 86, 407, TSS (M),Does it mean a person with this job code can't apply for visa class 189?
