I completely agree..No easy pathway for permanent residence/citizenship. Selfkontrol:
UK is a no no. U get nothing in return not even passport while they suck you dry. No good jobs apart from care jobs. U can imagine someone that has seen millions going to uk to do care jobs with no even guarantee of getting a good job afterwards and passport lmao. Canada remains the best |

I will advise you plan your relocation properly.Cost of living has increased substantially especially rent in bigger cities(which most immigrants prefer). Study route cost a lot of money and as well as a lot of time before you become a permanent resident.I will advise you really understand the journey you are about to embark on fully before you start.Ask a lot of questions if you have friends abroad..What program do you intend to study, how long?what is your pathway to acheive permanent residence afterwards?
All the best in your endeavours |

A lot of people are depressed, mentally unstable which is mostly attributed to low levels/lack of sunlight. There is also seasonal affective disorder(SAD) which unfortunately a lot of people dont realize is affecting them. Its not easy adapting to the winter season without the appropriate measures needed..Eg she has to increase her Vit D levels via her diet or supplements, get more physical exercises / engage in a sport , wear appropriate thermal clothings etc etrouble: I think she is mentally unstable, if not, she won't be posting this nonsense when she is not held down at gun point. As for the thieving leaders, they and their family will all die miserably 1 Like 1 Share |

Thank you! Personally I have 3 numbers of people on my phone, they only specialize in Acura parts! If I don't want what I'm looking for from Mr A, I will definitely find from Mr B.
In the last 6 months of driving this 2012 TL. I have changed my shock absorber, and I have changes a few other things that are only used by Acura, I didn't have to sweat to get them. Please I need the numbers for the acura spare parts dealers if they are based in lagos.I am looking to get good shocks. Thanks |

not a little boring bro but very boring..The worst combination ever is living in Regina, the brutal winter and covid lockdown restrictions...#Damn** agbasi: Hello all.
Been a while I came here. I live in Regina Saskatchewan. I live in Harbour Landing; for those who know Regina well.
If you are coming here on PR or as a Student, you might need some tit-bits on how to settle down. Just feel free to reach out to me. And when you arrive, just holla too, can create time and show you around. Regina is perfect for a family person and also for students. Can be a little boring though especially if you have no social circle to mingle with. But it is economically tailor-made for those coming from Nigeria with standard budget. Best place I think from which to ease oneself gently into Canadian Life.
Email me at branphilo@gmail.com if you have some quick questions or you are coming to Regina. Indicate Naija on the subject line.
Folafikemi was on point below.

Folafikemi: Ok I have been a PR here in Saskatchewan province and living in Regina City for over a year now.... As Salford rightly said, this is about the most easiest province to relocate to from Nigeria and Not regret ever having to make such decisions Cos it's easier to start all over again here unlike the bigger cities where u have to husstle and die to "make it". I was in ON, saw the standard of living compared with SK and I take SK ove On any day. Almost missed my flight back to SK from ON dues to gridlock like the one on Lagos Island.
Life is easier here though minimu wage is low but it's 90% a take over naija any day. I got my vehicle all paid up withing 5months of working and a decent apartment in Greens Gardiner for those that knows Regina City and so far it's been a journey worth it..
Yes it's lonely and the reason u need to move here with Ur family. And if u single then u can explore.
Above all no regret so far as I no pass my boundary and being a PR is the best I can wish for now. Citizenship loading in a jeefeey... The Greens nice neighborhood. The best in the east end.I notice a lot of Nigerians are on this side of the city..How’s Regina been for you so far? find it a bit too small though |

Sholapey: Steve Gouves dies a billionaire, with a fortune of $7billion, at the age of 56 from pancreatic cancer, & here are some of his last words: "In other eyes, my life is the essence of success, but aside from work, I have little joy, & in the end wealth is just a fact of life to which I am accustomed. At this moment, lying on my bed, sick & remembering all my life, I realize that all my recognition & the wealth that I have is meaningless in the face of imminent death. You can hire someone to drive a car for you, make money for you but – you can not rent someone to carry a disease for you. One can find material things, but there is one thing that cannot be found when its lost – “life”. Treat yourself well, & cherish others. As we get older we get smarter, & we slowly realize that a watch worth $30 or $300 – both display the same time. Whether we carry a purse or a wallet worth $30 or $300 – the amount of money in it remains the same. Whether we drive a car worth $150,000, or $30,000 – the road & distance is the same, we will eventually arrive at the same destination. If one drinks a bottle of wine worth $300 or $10,000 – the “stroller” will be the same. If the house we live in is 300 square meters, or 3000 square meters – the loneliness is the same. Your true inner happiness does not come from material things. Whether you’re flying first class, or economy class – if the plane crashes, you crash with it. So, I hope you understand that when you have friends or someone to talk to – that is true happiness! 5 Undeniable Facts:- 1. Do not educate your children to be rich. Educate them to be happy. – So when they grow up they will know the value of things, not the cost. 2. Eat your food as medicine, otherwise you will need to eat your medicine as food. 3. Whoever loves you will never leave you, even if he or she has 100 reasons to give up. He or she will always find one more reason to hold on. 4. There is a big difference between being human & human being. 5. If you want to go fast – go alone! But if you want to go far – Go together!
And in conclusion, The 6 best doctors in the world:- 1. Sunlight 2. Rest 3. Exercise 4. Diet 5. Self-confidence 6. Friends Keep them in all stages of your life & enjoy a healthy life. “Love the people The Almighty sent you, one day He will need them back.” Something worth sharing!!!
Wishing u all a prosperous 2020. Really nice article..It takes a while to realize all these but as we grow older, things become clearer.May God make it easy for us all 3 Likes |

Nice one.I currently live in Regina..Find it kinda boring for a single guy..Lol salford1:
That generalization though. Every province has cities or towns that are family oriented.
To talk about a proper family oriented location , I won't actually include Saskatoon or Regina or any other medium size to big city as per Canadian standards.
Having lived in Regina, Swift Current, Moose Jaw Weyburn, less than a week in Saskatoon and Estevan, in my opinion, the best places that are more family oriented are the towns or very small cities (Less than 40k population), but job opportunities are also limited in those places. 1 Like |

salford:
Pros: Easier for PR if you are an international student, diversified economy, decent average wages for professionals (only Alberta is higher), cuisines is oyinbo food, but there are Nigerian food stores scattered across the province, Good number of Nigerian trained doctors and other professionals, less populated, cheap phone plans and car insurance, decent cost of rent or property etc
Cons: Bitterly cold-comparable to Manitoba and Edmonton & up, Mosquitoes in summer, diversity not as much as Ontario or BC, could be boring, no real international airport like the one in Calgary, Vancouver or Toronto, lowest minimum wage in Canada, Infrastructures not as nice as say BC or Ontario.
Moved here from Calgary, Alberta after the world Oil glut seriously affected Alberta's economy. Had a chance to move elsewhere like BC or return to Alberta, but the family loves it here than Alberta, so this is home now. Love Sask - Land of the living skies.
However, you will get you more response and views on the existing Living in Canada thread. Regina or Saskatoon? I find Saskatchewan to be more of a family oriented province. 1 Like |

This all depends on you and the plan that you can hatch.
A one year pgd is equivalent to a 1yr PGWP. Now the facts:
After school, you have 6 months to apply for PGWP When you apply, you get 1year PGWP.
That's a total of 1.5years.
The good news is that, if you study the Manitoba Provincial nomination system properly, you will be able to get EE through them easily.
I personally believe the 1.5year above is enough to put together a perfect application for any of the express entry stream.
