boxer022: If you read from Genesis 1vs1 you will see that there was nothing on earth that had life before creation, the Bible said the earth was without form or shape, darkness was upon the face of the earth and the earth was covered with water. The Spirit of God moved on the face of the waters. This is to show that man was not created until the 6th day. Chapter 2 vs 1 is just trying to explain or throw more light on how man was created. God blessed Adam, Eve and all his creatures and told them to be fruitful and multiply. Cain was born outside the garden of eden where his parents were created. God after resting on the 7th day continued His work of creation even as the Bible did not take record of it. The main reason why Adam and Eve are very important is because they were the first to be created from the dust of the ground. This is just my own little understanding and I stand corrected.
