obadiah777: oh yeah thats an interesting book. book of revelation. lots of symbolism. you probably know most of it but the way it is written is such that you need to know lots of things to get it
1-gotta be familiar with the history of the world somewhat and the empires
2-gotta be familiar with the old testament books
3-gotta be familiar with biblical meaning of words because revelation is packed with old words that dont mean the same today

noblefada: The Sabbath in the law was figurative of what was to come in form of salvation, where God's people will seize from their works (law) and receive the grace of salvation through Jesus Christ and all that is needed is to believe, Heb 4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. ( pls read Hebrews chapter 3&4 for better understanding). So through the grace of God that is gotten thru faith in Christ Jesus, believers now have rest in the finished work of Cross. So what happened to the Sabbath day, it has been fulfilled. Mat 5:17: Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

The Catholic Church teaches that those with mortal sins go to eternal damnation; those without any unforgiven sin or unsatisfied temporal punishment go to heaven; those with venial sins (not mortal) and unsatisfied temporal punishment go to purgatory to be purged for their final entrance into heaven.

When a man dies his thoughts ends his spirit returns to God who gave it. In your spirit is the storage of all your life activities in life which God will use to judge us. Then your real self your soul will go to sleep a situation of unconsciousness not hell or heaven rather you are sleeping. I think in the first book of Acts Peter was telling the people that David is in the grave waiting for resurrection . Then your body will decay and return to dust.
Then at the return of Christ every bit of your will recompose back and the spirit of God will reenter you and you will wake up and our body will change and put on exactly the same body that Christ had when he resurrected .That is immortal body.
There is no place in the bible it says we r going to heaven.
We are staying here this where Christ will rule on earth not heaven. He will return and we shall reign with him on earth for 1,000 years .
