First of all, scan the car.
Linear or dual solenoid might be the culprit. U fit dey lucky change am and it works fine. With time it might return and becomes erratic, then prepare for the worse.
Gear may start slipping.


I have experienced such with same car. I used my gear for almost 2yrs b4 it gave up. Also check ur gear oil too

That is the proper thing to do if the funds to change isn't floating around near you. The k24 gearbox isn't hard to work on. Most of these issues are tiny so far your clutch packs are still okay the valve body can be replaced in a rebuild. If you open it up and you don't see metal particles in the sump (worn out/degraded clutches) then you have a 50% probability of just changing out the solenoid and you're good to go.

Yep your vehicle has the shift solenoid valve B. From your code it is either malfunctioning or clogged with debri due to bad/dirty fluid. If you've changed your transmission fluid recently and the issue persisted I believe it's time for a teardown to see if there are any other issues present within the gearbox as you change/clean the affected solenoid (also don't forget to check the continuity and condition of its wiring while you're in there.

Your problem is that it's located inside the gearbox and not on the outside. See the pictures below for its location and check my prior posts here for a short guide on how to access it for maintenance. If you open up the gearbox and change it out/clean it up and you didn't see any improvements with the functionality of the gearbox then it means whatever is affecting the flow of fluid to that solenoid is situated within the valve body itself in which case you can either rebuild or replace the gearbox.

@conner44, what do u think about P0756 for honda accord DC i4. the gear is mad now. slips, doesn't enter D, D flashes light.
It enters R and slips too. I have changed both dual and single linear solenoid. But for the code up there, I am worried if this particular model has that shift solenoid B.

There's no law bro. Na just madness on their part. Once I don follow bullion van (3 Hilux) from Benin by-pass reach Onitsha. Na evil spirit abi anaconda (Honda Accord) black with tinted. Though I was only one driving, I had to close up with them, I had to drop my windows make the last van with escorts dey see me. Traffic that day was something else. Some other faster cars came to size them up, na so zig-zag for road. At a time I had to block some cars (though it was a risky thing, cos if there's an attack, I wouldn't escape it). When we go to Onitsha, there was traffic, na so they took one way, the last car signalled me to follow them. Those guys no dey gree o.




The worst na CBN convoy.... An army suv(na all those land cruiser with stars) with like 4 backup Hilux, wan overtake CBN convoy for 3mainland bridge, those guys no gree o. They spread the whole of 3MB road with that zig zag moves. I just dey laff for road that day.
