@Mpele:

You should know by now the ecnomy is back to where it was a week ago right? That was temporary and was expected. Make it a habit to check the stock markets on a regular basis.

Yes Mbheki is gone and the ANC is going through a nasty transition but, there shouldn't be any hype. When the ANC took over from the Afrikanders, we were told that this is the end of South Africa. When Trevor Manuel (The minister of finance) took over from the then minister of finance (Chris Lebenberg), all the whities imigrated to Australia. When Tito Mbhoweni (Our Governor), took over from Chris Stalls, the people went tinto a frenzy and mostly moved to the UK. When Mandela announced that he will be stepping down, they saw it as the END! But was it? NO!! In essence, today is no different.

na wao ood h. very proud to be s/African. grin grin grin

I'm still not happy with Zuma taking over however, South Africa will live on and will remain to be/have the strongest economy in Africa.

Aluta Continua!!We keep striving on!

I wonder what "National Pride" is left in a nation where 99% of its leaders are bunch of scammers.
where its populace live in sickening penury.
enough of this rumbling about some national pride.

cold:
You hav a point there.Save for national pride which Nigerians are well known for i don't see any rzn y they shldn't b tried in the States.But then there are procedures.If the Agency is able to establish a prima facie case,then they'D hav to apply for the officials to be extradited to the USA in a Nigerian court & if the verdict goes in their favor then the officials can b flown ova there.Anythin short of this will only amt to an exercise in futility.
they hide under "national Pride" to loot this nation. isn't it?

Big B1:
We must think about the future; hence, I agree with AFAM, Crimes committed in Nigeria must be tried in Nigeria and absolutely not in USA; Nigeria is not a part of the USA.

It is the right thing to do!

let the Bastards go and answer for their goddamn crime. it doesn't matter anymore where.

what matters most is justice.If we can be guaranteed of justice in the US Judicial system(which i'm sure we will)
so be it.NO FUSS!

If U want to think of the Future then you must first deal with these criminals.Period!
