The Nigerian government today made it abundantly clear it will not restate the subsidy on petroleum products, according to The Punch newspaper. Following this afternoon’s emergency meeting of the Federal Executive Council, in Abuja, the Minister of Information, Mr. Labaran Maku, told newsmen the government was not oblivious of the pains inflicted by Nigerians as a result of the new policy. In order to ameliorate those pains, he said the government had commenced a ‘massive mass transit scheme’ aimed at cushioning the effects of the subsidy removal on transportation. Thousands of mass transit vehicles, he claimed, would be distributed. Mr. Maku did not say on which of Nigeria’s atrocious and crowded roads the vehicles would be driven, or who would provide security in a sector hampered by armed robbery, kidnapping and police harassment. Curiously missing at today’s pivotal meeting were two senior officials and pillars of the new policy: Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, and Petroleum Minister, Dieziani Alison-Madueke. source:http://saharareporters.com/news-page/sorry-nigerians-fuel-price-increase-has-come-stay-%E2%80%93-government |
Every time I open a thread on nairaland, it's always a new thread bitching about how Nigerian men do this and how Nigerian men do that. How about you stop having Nigerian men altogether? Get yourself a white man or have lesbian orgies, who cares? My point is, the good Nigerian girls always know where to find the good Nigerian guys, if you're stuck with the bad ones who mistreat you in the name of culture, re-examine yourself. Holla!
The fact!!!! |
be right back!! |

I agree with y'all.I've tried it once and it felt like the best thing in the world.however its best to always err on the side of caution when dating online.Bearing in mind that the only information you've got of your aficionado so to say is the one provided by him/her which could be a phony indentity for all we know.for instance, a guys could deceive you in to believing that he's a girl when it's actually the opposite and its could happen the other way round. This deception could go on for a long time and then one day he/she might decide to drop the ice breaking news on you or some how you found out to your shock and disbelief that the person you've been wetting your pants for all these days isn't who he/she says he is.now that can be heart wrenching if you know what i mean. my advice: when it appears to good to be true, its almost always is! |
those are quite hilarious I must say, really laughing my frozen butt off. ![]() |

james1:Goodness!!! where is this guy coming from and where is he going? Are u in anyway related to this guy(Obasanjo) or are u making these utterance based on your admiration for him? I honestly dont understand why u think Obj is Untouchable. he is smarting aroung simply because he hasnt met his match in the form of a motivated and well determined leader.he would've been chewed like a gum. I pray he stays alive and lets see how all these will end. No one man can be more powerful than an entire nation save when he is given the chance. so, quit all those pessimism of yours. just little time will have him nailed for life |
