Hello. Has your fiancée gotten the packet 3 yet?/ email from NVC?
I dont think there's any such thing as packet 3 from NVC, the embassy send you one when you email them after they receive your file. I've received the email from NVC and case is already in transit to the consulate.
How are things looking for you?

So you can fill the form and do you police report now?

I have completed about 75% of the form. I wont do the police report until I have scheduled my interview.
I hope you get your case number soon. If we have similar noa2 I believe your case number is not far days from now. Ensure to check on them between now and Tuesday next week.

Oh great. Please what number did you call them with? And did they request for anything?
Full name, date of birth and email of petitioner. Call: 1-603-334-0700.
You know what's funny, last week I called the officer said they haven't received the file but today the officer said the file has been there since NOA2 date cheesy cheesy grin So try to talk to at least 2 officers.

Hello, Goodevening

Please were you able to call them?
Good evening. Yes my fiancee did but the auto answering voice said to call back due to no available staff to talk with her, adding that they were unto other customers. Tried again it was the same. She called a bit late tho so it was expected. Funny thing, the call kept disconnecting after saying all that. Tomorrow will be right as they open for business. Did you get to reach them?

Heard it’s hard to get interview dates now.‍♀️
How so? Maybe it's the backlog of the waiting line.

Take it easy bro. Let's mind our language wink. I want to believe he is not against posting his interview experience. Perhaps he's waiting for the right moment or maybe he forgot. But even if he doesn't want to post his interview experience, that's fine. It's not compulsory.
I'm sure if other people didn't put up their experiences whether here or whatever forum he uses, he would have passed through a very very difficult process to get a visa to be with his loved one. This journey is hard and everyone needs as much help they can get. Trust me, If i want him to post something, it's mostly for others. visajourney and the likes were not so easy to find, but nairaland is always our first call when we need something.

Baba anyone who doesn’t wanna share their experience or transcripts should hold to them. We are all here to learn and help each other. It is well.
Either he doesn't read past thread post to see the demand of him or he's just a d*ck. I'll go with the later.

I however advice that you contact them via this link before then and update your email and other info: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html

There's no implication as long as your passport is still valid and your K1 visa is valid. On entry into the States, you'll have 90 days to get married to your fiance.
Okay bro thanks. What of the validity of the medicals or police report? Do they still play anything as long as visa has been received?
Travel / Re: USA Fiancee (K1) Visa Thread by mekusa10: 8:48pm On Jul 25, 2019
So I have a question. What is the implication of travelling 2 months after getting approval? Am I delaying anything ?

Guys,

I think it is important and helpful for us to share our interview questions or transcripts for others to learn irrespective of the outcome. I say thank you to those that have shared theirs in the past and also encourage those that have not to please share. It is always helpful and insightful. Others can learn from mistakes and be better prepared regarding the type of documentation that will be useful.

I had my interview on June 24, 2019 and was asked to submit additional documents which i did the next day (June 25) as i had them at home but did not think they were useful or needed for the interview. They have not gotten back to me yet.....and I submitted what was requested a month ago.

See the interview questions below:

1. What is your relationship with your petitioner

2. Tell me what you know about her

3. Who does she live with?

4. Was she married before? No

5. Does she have any child? No

6. Do you have pictures of you together? Yes (i had over 20 new pictures plus the over 40 i submitted with the initial petition)

7. Tell me about the last argument you had together?

8. Do you have pictures of you and your son together? I don't have them here

9. Where is his mother?

10. Any secondary evidence of your ex-wife's death aside the death certificate?

11. Who proposed? How did you propose?

12. When / where are you going to get married?

After all the questions....she says

Before i can approve your visa, I need to see some secondary evidence.

1. I have your ex-wife's death certificate and certificate of cause of death but i need additional secondary evidence like program for funeral, death notification, screenshot of social media posts, pictures, etc.

2. I have your son's birth certificate but I need to be sure of your relationship with your son. So send pictures of you together at different times of his life. She also asked for his hospital records / immunization records but i told her i could not get those for some reasons.....she said okay send pictures.

So if you have kids, know that they may ask for more than birth certificates. If you lost a spouse, they may ask for more than death certificates and so on.
Thanks for sharing. I hope you get a response in time to meet up your set marriage date.

Depends on your pocket. Most do court house and when they are financially buoyant, they can the whit wedding afterwards. Nothing to be Afraid off. I did court too.

For my fellow journey men and women who are married to their USC, this is me trying to think aloud. Do you think a courthouse wedding and a ceremony/party afterwards with family and friends would look like a legit marriage before the CO and in future AOS/greencard interview?

Yeah that's true. Well let's keep reminding them anyways. How's it going? Have you gotten the NOA2 in the mail?
Yes oh smiley on Saturday. I'm shocked how fast things are moving, less than 3 months to get NOA2, I'm hoping I get interviewed before November cos I see the NOA2 expires by November.

please house kindly need your advice on this, my US fiancee is coming to Nigeria for our court wedding, she is coming for the very first time I wanted to know if a facetime of 3-5 days is good enough to file for a wedding. we getting married at her first visit to Nigeria. my question is this will this be a red flag at the US embassy?
Thanks for your swift responses and contributions.
The embassy might be concerned about it. I'm not expart in immigration matters but i think it would have made sense to do that if she was nigerian. Except maybe she's staying around like for at least like a month. You also have to consider if there are any red flags. But for me you can easily get away with short visits if it were fiance route you were taking. Advice, to be successful in this journey you have to think like a CO.

Bro, once they have you phone, they can see anything I guess. Not scaring anyone but I think passing through the customs is probably the last step of this K1 into the states.
