Maybe it is, but sometimes it is lifestyle. I almost had the rubbish disease in 2019 but was very lucky that I ran into a man who helped me cure it naturally. My vision was extremely blurry and I noticed my left eye was almost gone.
My father, mother and grand parents were never blind. I had worked so hard, I formerly worked at NICAPACO and they called me Terminator because I worked day and night shift. I overworked myself because I had a target I wanted to meet. This stressful life messed with my BP, affected my sperm count and gave me prediabetes symptoms. I am happy today everything is gone. I am not exercising, it was just herbs and a total change in life style. Just make sure you sleep 8 hours daily and don’t stress yourself about ambition or buying a house before age 30 like I did. It isn’t worth it when the health challenges start.

Lol Oga Ben which one is over collaborating again? I thought collaboration is simply what it means. I understand you shouldn't allow someone do your project from beginning to end! But if I'm allowed to ask questions when I'm stuck.. I'm confused to what over-collaborating means.

Which particular test? Cycle 41 or 42? Cycle 41 test has being sent since... And the deadline is January 3rd. Bro about improving yourself.... you don't need to be an expert before applying to andela. Just be Teachable and willing to learn!

I remember this question from the cycle 38 test.
Your solution may be correct. The problem is that the question's instruction and the tests are conflicting.

The instruction says return numbers BETWEEN x and y but the test expects numbers FROM x TO y.
So just modify ur solution to return numbers from x to y.
So number_game(3, 13) should return [3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13] instead of [5, 7, 9, 11].

Bro you don't need all this functions. Everything can also be nested inside the number_games function.
You just need a for loop to iterate over the array. Then use a filter function to filter out even or odd numbers as the case may be.

I'll just give you a headstart....

const number_game= (x, y) => {
  //  First Condition, when X is greater than Y
  if(x>y){

   //declaring an empty array to store the numbers
    let result = [];

 //declaring starting condition of i = y, since X is greater than Y
   for (let i=y; i<=x; i++) result.push(i);

 //Filtering out the even numbers from the numbers ranging from Y to X
  return result.filter(a => a % 2 === 0);
  }

With this approach you can do the second one for the odd number.. Still use if statement and the for loop.

He isn't spreading false information. That was exactly what I thought when I read through their site, until I read the FAQ. That was when I realized they meant "You need no programming knowledge to apply", but after engaging in the home study, which would be sent after your application, you should have learnt the basics required to scale through the bootcamp.
The problem here is the time between the application and the bootcamp. Hence its so difficult(maybe possible) for a complete newbie to programming to absorb everything in the home study before bootcamp.

Just want to encourage everyone not to relent! And also, there are tons of learning materials out there, just keep knowing more and updating your knowledge. I have also seen quite a number of people feeling like they don't know enough and postpone applying or continuing the recruitment process because they feel they need to learn some more! Please don't do that.

Software dev. is a bit different from conventional education, you hardly get external validation for what you know! The rules are flexible!

Heck I just opened node, CLI and almost all the tools used for the first time in my life when the bootcamp challenge dropped! Never written CSS from scratch before!

Ability to learn fast is key, Google and StackOverflow is your friend. And pay attention to your SOFTSKILLS! Andela's recruitment is an OPEN TEST! What u are graded on is clear from the onset. Goodluck guys!
