We are supporters of different politicians but we forget that this people don't have your interest at heart. We live together peacefully but we bring tribalism, religion, ethnicity, nepotism, hatred among ourselves just because of peanuts that politician will give you.
One tribe would claim they know all, another will come and say without them there is no Nigeria.
Every tribe/region has what we call comparative advantage over other regions. Let us try to live peacefully irrespective of the tribe you come from. This politicians you fight for have accumulated wealth for themselves and they still want to amass more wealth at the expense of the downtrodden masses like you.
Let us put on our thinking cap and move this nation forward.
Long live Yoruba people
Long live Igbo people
Long live Hausa people
Long live Niger delta people
Long live Middlebelt
Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Let's preach peace and live together as one.
God bless Nigeria!!!
PoliticsRe: Peter Obi Caught In Massive Lie About His Achievements! - Reno Omokri (Video) by melbourne10: 2:07pm On Oct 16, 2022
People should think before they come out to say rubbish especially Reno Omokri who say trash from that dustbin he calls a mouth.
I am not a supporter of any party, the 60 % Peter Obi is talking about is the Labour force of Anambra state and not the entire population of the state. There is age bracket that falls within the Labour force which is not upto the 4million he mentioned
So before Reno talks he should think like an educated person, not an illiterate.

PoliticsRe: Umahi’s Defection: Wike, Eight More PDP Governors To Join APC - Yahaya Bello by melbourne10: 8:05am On Nov 20, 2020
It is obvious that these so called governors, senators or whatever they call themselves defecting from one party to the other, are not doing it in the interest of Nigerians but for their own selfish interest .
They don't care about the downtrodden masses but for themselves alone. It is high time we shine our eyes because the wealth of this nation keeps revolving around them. Like I keep saying, Nigerians don't have any reason travelling abroad in search of Greener pastures instead the reverse should be the case. We all know the story of singapore, malaysia, UAE these countries are what they are today because of Good, intelligent, disciplined, devoted leaders who mean well for their countries not the ones who move from one party to the other without political ideology. Come 2023 the Music must change.
PoliticsRe: Kogi State Bread Levy/Tax by melbourne10: 8:23am On Nov 13, 2020
It baffles me the way state government in Nigeria go about generating IGR. They cannot think out of the box,all they know is to get allocation from FG and squander the money.
Imagine Kogi state government trying to levy bakeries on every bread produce, this is compounding problem for the common man instead of alleviating the problem because the burden and increase in cost would be transferred to the common man out there and also amount to double taxation on the part of the company and the final consumer because,
1. The company pays Company income tax
2. There is VAT of 7.5% on the flour, sugar, salt e.t.c that the company use for baking.
3. Their staff pay tax PAYE to the state government. So with all this why still impose levy on bread which is the food for the common man.
That brings me back to the issue of IGR, every state has abundant resources which they can harness and improve on their IGR viz: Gold, coal, palm oil e.t.c
State government can go the same way the federal government has done by establishing an equivalent of the NSIA (Nigerian sovereign investment authority) at the state level, the states can invest in healthcare, transport, agriculture, investing in foreign bonds with top investment companies like Goldmansach,JP Morgan chase,HSBC, and all these would generate funds for the state, instead of compounding the problem of the common man.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: What Is The Hope Of A Graduate Above 30? by melbourne10: 12:34am On Mar 18, 2020
My brother at 30 you have a lot of opportunities. Don't let anybody discourage you. Going by the retirement age in Nigeria, you still have solid 30 years to work, that if you choose to work upto that age.
It is God who determines the fortune of men and the wealth of nations,so you never can tell when God will bless you but don't be discouraged.
We are all heading to a particular destination, some will fly, run, walk, crawl but at the end of the day we are all heading to one place.
The first house on a street is not the most beautiful. Just pray for God's grace and you get there.
