U need to add enough red or white vineger. It preserves d red colour &make sure u dont over bake. Where u put ur colour doesnt really matter, jst that & heat bleaches it. I make red velvet a couple of times &it comes out perfect. |

i use fresh curry leaf for my stew. it smells &tastes so yummy.. d 1st time i used it, i cdnt go back 2d processed curry powder again. Also i use natural ginger &garlic for my cookings. they are soooooooo healthy &yummy!!! |

Meddler: now that's a bit tricky. increasing the flour might make Ur cake dry. but still test it out. I use simas butter occasionally and haven't experienced the problem u described& this experience is always with my vanilla cakes. my chocolate cakes comes out perfect.. i tried topper, &there was an inprovemnt but still slight oil.. thanks so much 4ur help |

degurl: Depends on you. If I use the same quantity of butter and sugar (which is supposed to be the right thing), my cake will be too sugary so I reduce the quantity of sugar.yea, thats true. what i really need 2be put through is d qty of butter to flour. i guess its an issue 4me. is 50:50 ok? |

use Gelatin with glucose syrup. let d gelatin sit for 5mins before warming it up &adding glucose cyrup. hope this helps? |
agbeke58: Ur flour may not be enough, then check d quantity of liquid u add 2 ur cake, lastly, stop bakin with simas, bake with topper or any other nice brand.thanks vry much 4ur timely response. I'll look for topper brand |
