Your immigrant Visa is a single entry Visa, you can't come back with it. If it's possible to get someone to send your pr card back to you or bring it to Nigeria for you, then that's an option. But you can't use the immigrant Visa for re entry Esobabe: Hello everyone, I want to know if it’s possible to travel to Canada, start my PR process and then come back to Nigeria in January for a relatives wedding as my visa is valid till April. So, can I use my immigrant visa to re-enter into Canada if my PR card isn’t ready by January? |

Your case is exactly what @bankyh1905 explained. As far as your mum is still married to the father of your step siblings, there isn't a problem. Someone should correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what I understand from the case Uchboggy: but how is that possible? For instance my mum had me out of wedlock and then went ahead to get married and had other children, how would my mum and my dad still be together when she is now married to the father of my step siblings? |

Lol.. I know this question wasn't thrown to me, but I've seen you ask it a couple of times. I was just as anxious as you are. I submitted my passport for stamping on the 4th of November and it got delivered back to me yesterday (26th). So give yours 3 weeks or 4 atmost. The vfs customer service lady said 15 working day, the day I called her Suspectzero: How long did it take you to get copr? |

Medicals have 1 year validity, not 6 months carissaa: You should only do medicals before ITA if you're 500% sure you're getting ITA in the next draw. I.e. your score must be super high. If not wait till ITA. This is because medicals have 6 months validity. It's better to wait till you're sure you have ITA or you might end up doing medicals twice. |

Thank you esterella: Your're absolutely free to land and reside anywhere in Canada (maybe with the exception of Quebec), if your PR is not province-based / sponsored. |

Hello everyone
Please does one have to land in the place of destination written on their COPR, if they didn't get a provincial nomination?
My COPR says Alberta, Calgary but I intend on settling in Ontario instead. |
