charlesemeka85: Red-hot Chelsea Loanee Uwakwe Reacts To Scoring On His League Debut Chelsea loanee Tariq Uwakwe has reacted to scoring on his League One debut in Accrington Stanley's 2-0 victory against Peterborough United on Saturday afternoon.
The gifted London-born Nigerian player is in a rich vein of form at the moment, with his 85th minute strike taking his tally for the season to four goals in two games.
Accrington Stanley sealed victory thanks to Uwakwe's brilliant curling effort from the edge of the area.
The former England U18 international had to seek first team opportunities elsewhere, rather than playing for Chelsea's development squad in the 2020-2021 season, and Accrington Stanley have offered him just that.
In his two appearances for the Reds, the versatile midfielder went the distance - against Leeds United and Peterborough United - and this proves that the manager sees a lot in him.
Writing on Twitter, Uwakwe said : "Debut in the league massive 3 points and my first league goal ⚪️ @ASFCofficial".
Tariq Uwakwe has been on the books of Chelsea since U9 level and signed his first professional contract three years ago. It's like some coaches have great vision for talents, others just criticise. I will pick a visionary coach over the glory hunter... |

TheSuperNerd: Osimhen today against a much stronger side than L'aquila and he still bagged a hattrick.
He did it playing without Insigne and Mertens. He was flanked by Lozano and Politano. Younes played behind him and even assisted his third goal. Lozano assisted his first. Politano kinda assisted his third. Would pass that as an assist.
No Mertens behind him, no Insigne. Yet Victor delivered another three goals masterclass.
My people, we know this already but we must emphasize that Victor is truly dangerous. He is an assassin.
Hold-up play on point, link-up play very good even if he did misplaced few passes. He took some risks and tried to do some combo plays with his wingers especially Lozano some of which paid off and their understanding is beginning to grow.
Victor loves to play with his wingers. He loves to merge his game play IQ with theirs and produce fine combo plays. He does this with Chukwueze in the national team and I see another growing quickly at Napoli with Lozano and Insigne.
Serie A beware.... Our Monster Machine is coming. And scoring is not all he can do. There is more. Reminds me of the options in attack Gattuso speaks of... Nice reading good stuffs like this.. Thanks boss |

BascoVanVeli: Man looked 35 Boss, I can't talk about age bcus u can't justify age by just phenotypic expression. I am 30 now, but then, I look so much younger like someone of 22/23, that cannot be said of some. My last born in my family is 16 but he looks much older than his age. Same goes for a lot of folks.. We all develop in different physiological rate as well as morphology. But again, except there is a means to capture all age info of everyone in the country, I will accept any age they claim. #am out.. Ghost mood |
