maidaboi: How Games have we lost with Osimhen starting? Not that many
Osimhen is very crucial to Super Eagles Yes true.. I noticed the full backs where not able to join the attack till Osimhen left the pitch.. Although Onuachu did a good job with the hold up and delays. Osimhen for us is a match winner. And I love the team fighting spirit. I saw us defending so much in my dreams I knew we will win and we did it... |

maidaboi: “It was a very physical match; Nigeria chose to play very low with a five-man defense to exploit counterattacks with their star striker. It was a tightly contested match. We didn’t give the impression of being able to compete physically. It was because of Nigeria’s best player ( Osimhen) that we lost”, Gasset said at the post match conference.
Words of the the Ivory Coast coach There was a time in 2006 they had Drogba and we lost.... It's our time now |

Ivory coast will play with immense pressure as per host team. But this Nigeria team with their not so concerned slow start to a game will become an advantage, and cote'de voire will make an early mistake that will cost them. I see the host chasing most part of the game. Final score Nig 2-1 Cote'de |

mostob: In the here and now, Osimhen can't start for any team playing in league one. His weekly wage is not even up to 23k per week which is the the lowest when you consider the covariance, the decile and lower percentile of league one wage structure. Anyone who think otherwise is just being emotively bias and prejudicially bla bla Blu Blu.

Bannedlargedx2: Osimehn played against Ghana home and away and much recently against Saudi arabia. He was missed but the difference isn’t osimehn. The team is imbalanced How many clear cut chances did we create against Ghana if i may ask? Osimhen against minnors is totally different, he will definitely Stat pad! Especially during a competitive game... |

Danielnino00: Here we go! Voting of Members of the Nomination Committee Gentlemen and ladies of the thread, it is time for us to vote for those who will stand as representatives of this thread and partake in the selection of award categories and award nominees. This year, the nomination committee will be made up of at least 7 members: myself, icon4s who pioneered the award will continue as an honorary member of the committee and at least 5 monikers from this thread. Every member of this thread is eligible to vote and be voted for. But let's keep in mind that this isn't a popularity contest. Vote for those you believe have the knowledge and passion for Nigerian football. Here's the rule for voting: 1) You're to vote for 5 monikers from this thread to join the committee; 2) Vote the monikers in order of preference, from top to bottom; 3) Points will be awarded to each moniker you vote for. Your first nominee gets 5 point, the second gets 4 points, the third gets 3 points, fourth gets 2 points and fifth gets 1 point. 4) At the end of the voting process, the five monikers with the most points will join the committee; 5) In the event that two or more monikers are tied on points, they will all be added to the committee, as the goal is to have as many monikers to contribute to the process. 6) You're allowed to nominate yourself 😉
Voting closes on Wednesday, November 8th 2023, 10pm Nigerian time.
Thank you. 1. Charlse Emeka 2. Majoribanks 3. The Supernerd 4. BascoVanVeli 5. Sir Kog |

BankyGee: Ederson angered gentle Taiwo Awoniyi today and these were the things Awoniyi almost did to him in the space of 30 seconds:
Modulate his mouth 👊🏾 Sabotage his teeth 👊🏾 Wave him 500 from behind 💪🏾 Calculate his standard deviation 🤛🏾 Embezzle his forehead 👊🏾 Besiege his career 👊🏾
I guess Pastor Awoniyi opened the part of the Bible that said "the vawulent takes it by force 💪🏾" Thank God the referee intervened in time 😁😪😤 I love Nigeria 🇳🇬💚😂😂 Na to diagonize his left eye so that the alignment will shift to the center... Ederson no well... |

chrisooblog: Bro sometimes necessity is the mother of invention. Look at how coaches in Europe shuffle their defensive options when the right combination isn't working.
Efe Ambrose is/was a CB but Keshi used him as a RB to fulfill a role when quality options were unavailable. Aina loves to overlap.. He won't work as a CB! |

charlesemeka85: if we can get Adarabioyo he will make a perfect combo with bassey
His is calm and good on the ball with good height and decent pace while bassey is more robust and faster
Another I like which many seem not to regard is semi ajayi
To me currently judging by what we hv he is our best RCB at the moment
Another good combo should be Toru and Ajayi/Adarabioyo but we hv to wait to see how the former performs when given a chance Simi dey forget him self some times.. And there is always a confusion between Simi and Bassey as seen always even in the last game, between who moves first when there is a loose ball and the opposition closing down.. I observed them making this mistake twice. A good opponent would have dealt with us by that mistake |
