Events that have come to light in the last few days, shows this administration may not be as confident as it portrays itself to be.

Appointment of Amina Zakari.
Obasanjo appointed Prof Maurice Iwu to head INEC. There were many Yorubas that could have filled the position but perception matters. Dr Jonathan appointed Jega as INEC head when there were many qualified Ijaw/southern professors to pick from.
This is the first time INEC has as its umpire a man from the same region as the president.
Apart from the INEC chief coming from same region as the president, we now have the added problem of Buhari's rumoured niece/inlaw as head of collation centre. She was posted to logistics awhile ago, what prompted her redeployment to the heart of INEC?
To make matters worse, incidents form that INEC rejected (because it overwhelmingly favours Buhari) is now going to be used.
Why all these sudden about turn?

Opposition candidates all alluded to the fact that security services favoured APC in Osun gubernatorial. So why did the army choose January/February for its operation, considering its past record? Sceptic like me believes it is to intimate opposition supporters in states like Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Kogi, Kano, Sokoto, Kwara etc.

We now know Isa Funtua, a close confidant of the President is behind the acquisition of 9mobile and keystone bank, helped in part by his son inlaw Ahmed Kuru. Why are these "nameless" cabal suddenly buying off assets if they believe Buhari would win?

There was violence up north in 2003 and 2007, the 2011 violence was the worst hence the reference.

The violence happened mainly in the north, Buhari's core supporters were not just in Katsina, he won 12million "Northern"votes in 2011.
