Why can't Buhari write his own speech.
PoliticsSee The Obama Statement Buhari Allegedly Plagiarised by melvinjames(op):
President Muhammadu Buhari’s ‘Change Begins with Me’ campaign suffered a setback Friday following a newspaper report that the president allegedly plagiarised President Barack Obama in the speech he delivered while launching the project.
The government says the campaign will help curb “widespread act of immorality” by Nigerians.
The report, which detailed how Mr. Buhari allegedly lifted quotes from a 2008 speech by Mr. Obama, came on the heels of another damaging allegation that the ‘Change Begins With Me’ campaign contained elements belonging to another anti-corruption effort, ‘Not in My Country’
Mr. Buhari on August 8 launched the ‘reorientation’ campaign in Abuja as part of his government’s strategy to make Nigerians eschew “dishonesty, indolence, unbridled corruption and widespread impunity” and embrace daily introspection over their “immoral” conducts.

A new Nigeria belonging to the south where ethnic Christian minorities in the north of the country would be welcome in event of a separation of the country into separate halves.

https://www.herald.ng/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/Femi-Fani-Kayode.jpg

Former minister of aviation, Femi Olukayode has called for the splitting of Nigeria into two parts.

In a new speech emailed to media houses, the controversial politician and former Director General of the Goodluck Jonathan 2015 project spoke of a new Nigeria belonging to the south where ethnic Christian minorities in the north of the country would be welcome in event of a separation of the country into separate halves.

The speech read in part, “I appreciate the barbarity and injustice of the ruthless persecution that they have been subjected to from those that have kept them in bondage and subjugation for over 200 years.

“As a matter of fact, I regard myself as being as much of a northern Christian as anyone else in this forum and when one of our own is killed by the Islamists and terrorists in our country, it hurts and pains me to the very marrow.

PoliticsFulfil Your Promises, Nigerians are crying of hunger – Bishops Tells Buhari by melvinjames(op): 10:52am On Sep 07, 2016
The Pentecostal Bishops Forum, PBF, on Tuesday, called on President Muhammadu Buhari to fulfill his campaign promises, stressing that Nigerians are in hunger because of the current economic recession.
Chairman of the forum, Archbishop John Praise made the call while addressing State House Correspondents after a closed-door meeting with the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Praise also advised the President to hire experts to help him in resuscitating the country’s ailing economy.

According to Praise, “We came from all over the north, we came to pay a courtesy call on the VP. We came to congratulate him and thank the government for their efforts so far since they came in about a year ago, especially in stamping out the Boko Haram menace and in ensuring security all over the nation.

“We came to also talk to him on the need for the nation to work together in unity, to move on in peace, the disturbing factor of the Fulani herdsmen, and to give our advice on how the government can foster unity, peace and progress.

“We are a united nation and nobody should be thinking individually but collectively of making Nigeria great. And, also, let the government know that, yes, we have agreed we are in recession, the people down there who we lead are suffering.

“There are cries all over the place and let the government do whatever it can to alleviate the sufferings.

“We thank God that the President promised he will look at the hunger Nigerians are going through and we do believe that because the President is a man of integrity, he will follow up on his words to ensure that the sufferings of Nigerian masses are reduced. If we have all the infrastructure working, things will work.

“Agreed, we are suffering from the effect of misrule of past leadership. All the same, we believe Nigeria is a great nation, and we can work together with our genuineness, our commitment and our intellectual intelligence to move this nation forward. And they should not be afraid to look for economic experts.

“They should not stop to get who can help in our economic recovery to ensure everything goes on well so that this country can bounce back as a great nation that we have always been. We want to ensure this country remains the great nation we have always dreamt and talked about.”

US COURT DOCUMENTS REVEAL AISHA BUHARI’S INVOLVEMENT IN THE ATIKU-JEFFERSON SCANDAL

https://www.36ng.com.ng/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/Aisha-Buhari-6.jpg

The United States Justice Department, revealed that the All Progressive Congress, APC, Presidential Candidate, Muhammadu Buhari’s wife, Aisha Buhari (posing as Buhari’s daughter), was used as conduit and engaged in fraudulent wire transfers, from her Nigerian account in favour of Congressman Jefferson, via the ANJ Group LLC.
The US District Court Memo, states that Congressman William J. Jefferson, between August 2000 and August 2005, sought hundreds of millions of dollars on behalf of himself and family members.
In return, the defendant used his congressional office to promote the business interests of bribe-paying companies, whose very success was dependent upon the approvals of certain United States and West African government agencies and officials.
Congressman Jefferson, further compounded his criminal culpability by conspiring with others to pay a bribe to the then-sitting Vice President of Nigeria.
The WhistleNG, in an exclusive report, stated that in hushed and sometimes cryptic taped recorded conversations, Congressman Jefferson, explained in details how the success of the Nigerian telecommunications venture depended on bribing the Vice President of Nigeria, who the defendant described as “really corrupt.”
The US District Court during their investigation, also revealed that Williams Jefferson, in one of his numerous bribe schemes, wired $170,000 to a Nigerian account in the name of Aisha Buhari.
“During the investigation of his numerous bribe schemes, law enforcement agents learned of several wire transfers from offshore territories into U.S. financial accounts, that were either controlled by the defendant or whose proceeds were made available for his benefit.

See Donald C. Semesky, Jr., Tr. at 104 – 116; see also Government Exhibits 36-87 (6/26/02 $170,000 wire transfer from account in Nigeria in the name of Aisha Buhari, to an account in the name of The ANJ Group, LLC, identifying “William Jefferson” as Beneficiary), Government Exhibits 36-90 and 36-91 (11/28/03 $50,000 wire transfer from account in British Virgin Islands in the name of Dawson Creek Traders to an account in the name of Jefferson Interests, Inc.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, in their report dated June 22, 2006 also stated that former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, was summoned by the US government for Investigation into the iGate/NDTV business deals involving Congressman Jefferson, which also contained Haija Aisha M. Buhari’s bank records and transfer history.
Reports from New York Times Story (April 29, 2007) revealed Aisha Buhari on the dubious $1.2m campaigning contract, to help the former Akwa Ibom State Gov., Obong Attah, boost his image and attract investment to Akwa Ibom in his bid to become President of Nigeria, as well as a contract where Aisha Buhari, served as a consultant to orchestrate enormous name golfers to go to the opening of the Uyo Golf Resort, commissioned by former Governor, Obong Attah.
As indicated by the New York Times story, “she (Aisha Buhari) told him that her father was the former military ruler of Nigeria, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, and that her American friends included politicians like Mr. Jefferson of Louisiana.”
The former Governor, also verified the claim by the New York Times when he said, he knows Ms. Buhari’s daughter, who is still a powerful Nigerian politician, by reputation. He also met her, he said, in 2001 when she accompanied a group of American politicians that included Mr. Jefferson to Akwa Ibom, to see oil-related pollution problems there.
“All I needed to do was ask Aisha if she knew him,” Mr. Attah recalls.
General Buhari, has since denied that Aisha Buhari is his daughter, in spite of the contrary proofs, pretty much as he denied his adopted son, Mr. Mohammed Buhari, who was likewise captured in May 2014, by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, for swindling a woman Mrs. Nwokwocha Florence, of N20m to put resources into an oil and gas business with a guarantee to make mouthwatering returns to the woman.
