Swissh: It's not even debatable. Suarez exploits of 59goals just shows the kind of enjoyment Messi has experienced most of his career. He has never come close to replicating those performance for Argentina in any competition or even finish as top scorer. Somebody said he even went back to back competition for Argentina without scoring a single goal why is that? Put Ronaldo in those Barca teams and he will bang in goal figures that will make Messi blush. Bwhahahahah. Its this back to back competition stuff without a single goal that always cracks me up. After banging in 50goals for Barca you go to Argentina and drop stinkers in back to back competitions. This system player is the Goat some people Stan. |

simonjassy: What trophies did he deliver for portugal?. is it the euros that eder won or the euro 2020 qualifiers turned uefa nations league in which bernado was more influential than your c.ronaldo.Have you forgotten the 2006 world cup that ronaldo played?. Euros 2016.... Ronaldo contributed to 6 goals out of Portugal entire 8 goals in the competition including a goal and an assist in the Semi final. He was Portugal best attacker. Euros nations league finals Ronaldo finished as the top scorer and delivered the trophy as well. Portugal in 3 semi finals that took them into the final they scored 7 goals. Ronaldo scored 5 of those goals and assisted the other 2. Now this is Messi for Argentina.

When not playing for Barcelona he becomes ordinary. I mean 2 competition back to back with Argentina without scoring a single goal. Damn that's tough. |

When you cannot counter an argument, you resort to shouting 'shalaye' ...

Just shouting shalaye like a robot [/s] Ronaldo dominated two leagues....fact Ronaldo won every individual and collective awards in those league....fact Ronaldo has delivered two trophies for his country....fact Ronaldo has won every where both country and in every league....fact. Messi has faced all the best teams from England and has destroyed each of them at least once...
It is not difficult dominating a league that has not produced up to three world best players
Messi has decided to stay in the best and most successful league in the world competing directly against the biggest and most successful club ever...
Ronaldo moved from the second richest club in the world to the richest club in the world and then left to a league where he is beaten to the golden boot by a 35 year-old unknown Guy why do you like to much Shalayes. Ronaldo has gone to two leagues and won every individual and collective awards it has to offer. That is the fact and the greatness of Ororo. gensteejay: [s] Apart form petrodollar, hope you know that Saudi realizes billions of dollars every year through mumus that keep visiting the country for religious tourism.
If many of our ancestors in this part of the world were clever, cunning, and pugnacious like the warmongers and expansionists that designed Islam, they would have also imported Olohun to the nooks and crannies of the world as the Supreme God.
And revenues from mumus that do pilgrimage every year to Nigeria to worship our local deities like Osun, Yemoja, Olohun, Chineke as God will be humongous and help spur the country to development.
But African traditional worshippers don't realize that no religion can grow without things like violence (blood shed) and distortion of historical facts, vices their counterparts in Christianity and Islam had long mastered.
Generally, many religious people can't see the danger of wallowing in worshipping the gods/goddesses.
Religion unites people? When a father can even kill or starve his own child for having the guts to challenge religious beliefs or think independently.
Well, this sort of discussion isn't even worth having anyways when most don't even realize that they're slaves and that they've been scammed, indoctrinated from childhood to believe lies.
Smart people, on reaching adulthood, would critique all those dubious religious beliefs they've been fed from childhood and subject them to scrutiny and test of logic.
Religion (mental slavery) will always limit a person's brain development and will always limit a nation's progress.
In 2023 general elections, religion will yet again be one of the key factors that will determine the people that will be chosen to lead the country in various capacities.
So, those that can see and think deeply know the Nigerian situation is really a hopeless one. The rot is too deep.
That's why those that are financially capable are doing everything possible to leave the sinking ship or keeping one foot here and the other in a developed country.
By 2023, a number of regulars here will have left the country, and the brain drain will keep on taking place. But most religious people believe praying for a better Nigeria is the way forward. [/s] You don't have respect for other people's beliefs Please don't quote me. |

madrid5: religion is the worst prison in the world because it is the only one where it's prisoners want to remain there no wonder Karl Marx called it the opium of the masses. for instance just ask an average Nigerian what are his plans in making it in life,u are more likely to hear "na god grace" than detailed plans about finances, tech, logistics or even migration, most people do not protest because "god will punish our leaders"imagine if the French didn't behead their king but waited for God to act. So that's how bad religion and superstition are for national pysche, while absense of religion doesn't necessarily make a person critical, but religion damages reason for majority of people. It is a fact that the richiest countries are the most atheistic,America is the only first world country where religion is still important, and richiest US states are the less religious(California/NY,masshachusetts).so religion is inversely proportional to wealth/education. Saudi Arabia/ UAE is predominantly a Muslim state and they are prospering. When you compare groups of people throughout history, the groups that practice a religion are more likely to survive and prosper than those groups that don’t practice a religion. I can’t remember the exact study, but it was cited in Jonathan Haidt’s The Righteous Mind. Religion may have its faults but it unites people and helps them grow. |

donjazet: Nigeria has had 3 prominent problems since the inception of the country. Religious bigotry, tribalism and high illiteracy.
Of the 3 major problems, religion is the key problem because it prohibits peaceful coexistence. A religious mind will always be judgemental and suspicious towards other different religions or nonreligious people. Because for the religion to survive and thrive, it has to perceive others as threat.
Religion is soo polarising and divisive that it can hardly ever be united itself. That's why you have a situation where a Catholic will despise Pentecostal churches and the Pentecostal churches will even despise and distrust themselves.
If we somehow eradicate religion and tribalism from our country, every other thing will fall into place.
In advanced countries where those things are minimal, you see progress and unity.
In America for instance, you have situations where an atheist man(Obama) born and raised in Hawaii can become a senator of Illinois, and a man born in newyork can become a senator of Vermont. Even an athestic immigrant from another country all together becomes a governor of the second richest American state California. Can you imagine that happening in Nigeria? The moment we can begin to think beyond our religious and tribal difference or eradicate them permanently, we will move forward together.
We have to remove religion from all learning institutions. That will be a good first step. You are blaming religion on issues that are actually caused by human nature, which affects how people think. For one humans still like to identify with groups similar to them. We also hold opinions to such a high degree that we often choose to ignore facts that contradict our values and only cling to our values more. This is true whether the values in question derive from the religious group you identify with or political party or any other groups one might identify themselves in including atheists. |
