kolaish: Really. Less than 350,000 units traded since morning in tranches, probably by those analogue investors who normally send purchase mandate to their stockbrokers, unaware of happenings in the market. It's 235k units traded since morning and no single block of 100k hence there's no price change yet. If deep pockets are interested in cycling this one, they would have closed the required minimum units for price change to reflect. But they are not doing that. Sidon look mode. Edited: Finally, they just closed 100k units. Game on. |

Chibuking81: Pity them at least @ 1.70, by opening some doors for escape. Sometimes stock hardly lose 4 straight day. Bear on a particular stock, stop over at 3rd day to drink water.
As we start counting, 1st day 1.81 2nd day 1.72 3rd day 1.63. Don't panic, if real, one want to come down, you can easily come down at 1.63 and above. Just prepare your mind.
May be some doors will be open at 1.72, while many doors will be free at 1.63 for Diamond bank passengers to come down. Their market maker might say otherwise, by tomorrow. Have you watched their trade today? Can you see how traders are avoiding the stock? Nobody is even willing to stake money to help the share price drop. Diamond is on a long thing. Very long. |

Well, Monday is already here. We watch and see. Fidelity gone on full offer. Waiting to see if FCMB will obey as well. |

Nichee: Its just a matter of time @ 43Million offer and NO single BID, Diamond loosing is inevitable its just a matter of TIME. You miss my point. There's still no single trade of 100,000 units. If market should close now, Diamond will not loose anything. |

PETERiCHY: After this terrible result if you still intend to buy diamondbk above 70kobo then your village people is very strong.
Betterstill wait till mid-Dec to buy in anticipation of their 2018 F/Y Result. because by then you will see headlines like Diamondbank back to profitability. They grew PAT by 283% coming from a loss of 4B to a profit of 1B blablabla.....
By the way this exactly what Dozie did to his shareholders. Kai, which forum member could that crying guy be? #ZoomsOff. |

Chibuking81: Transcorp and FCMB once taught me a lesson, those who will be tempted to sell at 1.8 or 1.7, without buying back at bottom level, will be regretting, when they will see it overtaking kilo #2, heading to #3.
If you might sell tomorrow, sell to enter at bottom level, because am seeing it competing with FCMB and Fidelity bank very soon at #2+. You are concluding that FCMB and Fidelity won't go on full offer tomorrow. Well, Monday is already here. We watch and see. |

Deadlytruth: From Q3 to FY 2011 UBA had a brush with very bad results (N16 bn loss for FY 2011) quite similar to Diamond's current one, it's price plummeted to as low as N1.64 but within 2 week afterwards it had reached nearly the N2.5 which it crashed from in response to the announcement of the result. I see jijoist cleaning out on Diamond within the next three weeks What was UBA's Q1 2012 like after they released FY2011? Diamond in this case followed up with an unimpressive Q1 after FY result..... |

There is more to life than stock trading. LOL. Better not quote price. Am sure Diamond will reverse for good when you and your forum sister sells your individual units. |

kolaish: Well said. But I see the stock going down for just a week, thereafter, it may resists a further down movement. Going down below N1 might not necessary be on a straight line. The bus will always stop, drop old passengers, pick up new ones and then continue. It's the destination that matters. And there will be choppings for the strong "hearted" ones. We watch shaa. OakPearl: Keen watchers of the market know that Diamond is on a slow but steady rise upwards.
Barring any seriously negative impactful outcome of both their FY 2017 and Q1 2018 results, it shall soon be on its usual catch up race with FCMB.

kolaish: Leave matter for mathias. Which result did skye bank has that it is still trading at 94k. Is Diamond result worse than the yet to be seen result that CBN is hiding for Skye bank. Assumptions they say is the mother of all screw ups! There's a difference between assumption and reality. Why did traders rush in to sell at N1.90 today? Because it became clear that DBN's result is out and bad. No more assumptions/hope that the result will be fine. Skye Bank still has no result and can trade at whatever price. Also, you should have noticed that Skye Bank has been under manipulation since January. If you follow closely, you would have seen it. That said, the only thing that can save DBN is if they quickly engage an MM for price stability. Else, forget it. |

So, I will advice you keep your eyes on it and sell before it goes down more than your average entry price. Seriously? Have you gone through their Q1 result as well? |

Well, I hope members are not heavy here. |
