Honestly, this alba the vex me self. He is currently view of the market is too negative for my liking. I wish he can behave like Agba and keep quiet for a bit.

But negative sentiments should be a welcomed development to all. Investors get to purchase more of their favorite at a discount and traders get to cycle another round. One just needs to learn how to weather both the positive and negative periods.

You dey mind Agba that didn’t believe Transcorp will go beyond N2. But look where the stock is today. If you follow Agba 💯 you go miss road

On the contrary, I do "mind" Agba a lot. You just need to decipher when he's joking and when he's not. I do pay close attention to what Agba, CP, Oracle and BBM have to say, all the time!

And Sis Mcy number of posts in a given day will tell me what the market is like without me looking at prices. #Heels!

With these exchange ratio for Dangote Foods

Dangote Sugar will contribute 12.15 billion
NASCON will contribute 2.42 billion
Dangote Rice will contribute 2.78 billion

Total outstanding shares for Dangote Foods will be 17.35 billion

Compared to 18 billion by BUA Foods.

If you are patient you should be able to ride Dangote Foods till N150

We should expect technical suspension any moment from now

At what price are they listing Dangote Foods? That's the koko.

50% Ko. "Investors" that bought WAPCO right issue at over N40 and same wapco dropped to N9 and yet to hit the rights issues price till date. I think similar scenario played out with FMN!

Nice one my oga.You want to tell me that when I made investment in oceanic bank and Dunlop the business and financial fundamental whr shaky. And the likes of fbn ,oando etc we bought high many moons ago which prices have nose dived too.I guess thr fundamentals too whr shaky when we bought
The ones you are buying now.How do you know the financial fundamentals are perfect since you are not the one preparing thr financial results. The last time I checked, it is still the old external auditors we know around, regulatory bodies and Nigerian that are the ceo of this trusted company. We all work with figures and information they pass on then and now still .The problem to me, is failed economy policy and corruption that stinks to the heavens
On another note how is your wapco doing because I remember you mentioning going for loan to buy then and the price was then above #28

Bad guy. grin grin grin. That right offer at #42.... Don't go and open that line. Let the sleeping dog snore away.

That won't matter if your income grew tremendously in the last 5 years.

And all these constitutes less than 5% of your total expenses

How many investments in Nigeria have grown tremendously in the last 5 years? What's the exact growth for those that have made progress?

If you had N30m to purchase a commercial property 10 years ago and then you had the same opportunity to to have converted that same amount to USD (about USD190k) to purchase a commercial property in the US, which of them would have been a far better investment now?

It is not some but many. If your annual retirement income was N1,000,000 which was equivalent of USD5,000 5 years ago, the same N1,000,000 will be worth about USD1 500 today. You may claim that you do not spend USD or GBP in Nigeria and that's perfectly correct.

For someone claiming that he/she doesn't spend USD or GBP in Nigeria shouldn't forget that the purchasing power of N1m 5 years ago is not the same now. Take for instance the price of condom which has almost tripled in Nigeria from 5 years ago till now.

I advise you work towards doing this in USD. Planning a retirement using Naira investments is uber risky

Some won't understand! This was brought up over 8 years ago while USD was trading at about #158.

Is there anything wrong in asking or giving for God's work?
These ogas sha. At least he didn't direct it to you in particular. Like say una dey give before. sad
Maybe na same thoughts Agba has.

He made a post on a platform and it doesn't have to be directed to me before I will respond.

You dey inside my pocket to know say I no dey give before? What inputs does he have in that man's investment to be looking for partnership?

Those that booked looses, has he gone to partner with them to alleviate their losses?

Why did you abandon the market for 10 solid years.

You will need to sell some of the dead stocks in your portfolio and then have a weekly or monthly investment plan.

Na you go buy the dead stocks from am?

Hello house

This is my portfolio 10 years ago, I abandoned it for the last 10 years. I will like to start aggressively growing it
The goal is to at least start earning decent dividends (700k-2m per year) in the next 12 months. And also a bit of growth as well.

One question though, what happened to Nigerian Breweries, it was trading like #160 back then

Will appreciate any advice

Your present portfolio valuation is barely N1m (give or take) and you want to start earning at least 700k in dividends within 12 months? This is still possible but be prepared to invest an additional 6m-8m for that to happen.

BTW, life and Nigeria happened to Nigerian Breweries!

I guess FO needs the money to buy shares in another company.

My guess would be UBA.

As i have been seeing unusual volumes being traded since Monday.

If FO is able to buy up to 40% of UBA, that would be a serious problem for TE.

Just a guesswork.

Do your due diligence, please.

TOE just increased his stake in UBA by 70m units. So you might be right but I doubt FO will be coming for any of TOE's entities anytime soon for a similar thing he did in Transcorp. He might chill out a bit first.

I don't know what is wrong with me today. I sold Caverton at a loss, and I have been verbally attacked by a couple of jocks and a chick right here on this forum. Nothing seems to be going well today. embarassed

Na you wake up go begin find OGG trouble, calling Caverton a 20 Kobo stock.

And as if that wasn't enough, you went for an "oracle" as well.

You may as well have answered the guy. He was asking if the (T-3 rule) applies to withdrawals. grin

One stone, two birds!
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mendes911: 1:31pm On May 10, 2023
ositadima1:

To my understanding, your funds should be ready for withdrawal immediately after you sell, depending on how fast your broker processes transactions. The (T+3) refers to the days it takes for your stock to be registered or deregistered on the CSCS ledger.

Funds are never ready for withdrawal immediately after sales, it takes a couple of days to clear. For an additional fee though, most brokers can credit your account even when the funds are yet to get credited to them. Also, some brokers do allow their clients to trade with the proceeds of funds immediately after a sell has gone through.

I agree, probably, it will sell for 20 kobo by year end.

Sir, I am not with you on this your 20 Kobo prophecy ooohhh, I no get strength for fight. If you want to talk to Sir OGG, come out openly and talk, "don't go through the corners" by saying Caverton will sell for 20 Kobo by year end.

You really do not know the intrinsic values inherent in this stock, yet to be scratched nor tapped.

Obene Kwa Kwa X4.

The last time Diamond Bank delayed result like this, CBN office caught fire and NSE followed afterwards.
