I don't think you need any application code. As you can see, it's not required.

They only suspended priority processing. Normal processing is still on.

This information is inaccurate. It is stated clearly on the Chevening website that some universities accept grades below 2:1. All you need to do is get admission. Graduates with 2:2 have been Chevening scholars.
