Romance / Re: 4 types of Ladies Who Are Only Relevant In The living room and The Other Room. by Merceline(f): 3:52am On May 12, 2017
op please delete no. 4. Even taking care of children, husband and home is not easy. I dont want to be a housewife but to suggest a man may not appreciate a woman because she is financially dependent as a result of dedicating her time to family is short sighted. every man knows his spec. just like every woman.
when you marry a real career woman you will understand then the merits of a house wife.
just choose your spec.

I was in love with pacesetters when I was in sec. sch. I still love them. I Dont even care about the title of the book once it is published by pacesetters, I just read. I feel the words walking around me. I imagine every line and I feel what every character feels. their books are literally an interaction

NO means try harder, Never give up to some guys.
probably but when they try again and it is still no then it might be time to let her be. though some girls may refuse a guy for lack if material things but in some other cases, the girl has genuine reasons. and of course if a girl refuses you because of material things it is even in your favour @ least you know it isn't love @ all.
then again some guys meet you and expect you to fall head over heels instantly. really?

We will all get to a point in our lives when we won't care to have our time wasted or waste other people's time. When I say a subtle no, I mean no. If you push me to say no plainly, its still no. If you push further dude...I find that quite unforgivable. No is no with me! If I like you , the worst I will do is to request to get to know you better...you sef go know say this babe is all mushy for you. Don't get it twisted folks cool
seriously they dont get it.

Family / Re: When Your Wife Is Richer Than You by Merceline(f): 3:48pm On Apr 28, 2017
I pity any man that gets intimidated by a woman's success. that man doesn't belong in this century. times have changed. if a man can't rejoice and support the success of his wife, he is worse than a jealous friend. if care is not taken, his own ego will kill him

OLAJADON:

Is not the same thing, when a woman is richer than her husband it bruises the man ego, this is natural let put society issue aside. It make the male feel less of a man, it is only a man that they have jazz that will allow his Wife more wealth than him without doubling his hustle
The question you should have asked is that how was the woman behaving to her husband knowing fully well that she is more wealth than him, there must be something the society or the guy's family see that made them make those conclusions.
if he cannot be happy and thank God for his wife's success and support her the way it is expected that a woman should support a man, it is simple let him be the MAN by going out and making more dough. nobody locked the door to money against him.

INTROVERT:
Questions is, who sent her packing?

LET ME SPEAK FOR THE GUYS before you answer the above.
First of all she, like many others may have lost respect for our husband because 'richer' than them. She suddenly becomes proud and pompous to do household chores etc because she dishes out more dough.
chores ke did he marry her only for chores? is the chore meant for any special person? anybody who has the chance can do it. children belongs to man and wife, same as the house. everyone who is an adult should clean after themselves. if the lady happens to make more money it means absolutely nothing. the man should be humble enough to accept it and the lady humble enough to know that their marriage is not because of money. once they are married they are one and the same irrespective of who makes more dough. both of them need to cut their ego. humility, love and respect apply to both of them in that situation not the just the woman.
men are allowed to be pompous and proud and order women around when they have money.
once the position reverses the man's ego becomes sensitive to everything the woman does.
not that I support it but it is the reality.

wat kinda books u read?..
I do not have limitations as long as the book is interesting. though most of what i read are by foreign writers. I find that good books by African writers are hard to come by compared to their foreign counterparts.

If you can discipline yourself in sexual purity, the chances are high that you can in most other aspects of life. Stop debasing what God has exalted.

I didn't marry a virgin but there is dignity in sanctity.
I see your point. I have not debased what God has exalted. I have only said in a nutshell that aside from being a virgin, a person is meant to cultivate other good qualities.
