Crime / First Logic Nigeria (in Lagos) Owning Me Some Money. What Should I Do Guys ? by MercyLady3: 11:50am On Nov 15, 2016
Guys, the company First Logic is owning me money. [I registered for two exams in late 2013 but the exams was suspended officially from abroad, so I asked for a refund]

They said they will pay back but I have not been paid since early January, 2014.

Guys, give me hints on what to do to get my money back without putting myself in unnecessary stress or trouble.

The money they own is worth 75k.

Is there an agency in Nigeria, I should contact?

Thanks as you respond.

thesicilian:
Minimum wage: 18,000 naira.

You didn't mention if there are children involved.

Single, and living alone but working in Akure. Of course, I live within a friendly neighbourhood. I though having someone who can help sometimes with my bachelor life can be okay too just to cut some stress of bachelorhood. The maid can be a male or female but nothing beyond the ordinary.

Just trying to see a reasonable monthly price that can be negotiated.

How long does it takes you to finish your masters degree? [For those that have been in Germany for some time ago]
About how many months?
Did you spend up to three years?
Hope it is not a problem?
Did you know students spending more than the expected program period?

MercyLady3:
Guys, for those that have finished in Germany and back to Nigeria, [aanyone can reply to this]
Did you close your German bank account after you are back to Nigeria or you can still keep that account opened?
What are the consequences? Any formal requirement that your account should be mandatorily closed because your period of permit is expired/over ?
Hope there won't be unnecessary charges?
Can you still keep the account active/opened even though you will be in Nigeria for a long period.
Guys pls reply...much love.
Family / How Much Will You Pay Your Maid Per Month ? [open To Read More Details.] by MercyLady3: 10:00am On Oct 29, 2016
How much is a maid paid per month [estimated figure] ?

If you don't have a maid, how much will you pay a maid per month if you on a 100k salary.

Let us assume the maid is at least 18 years and stays in the neighbourhood with his/her parent. You stay in Akure, Ondo state. You are a single young man living alone working in Akure. You don't have a car yet.

The maid will not do much job, just to go to the market to purchase food twice/thrice a week and probably clean common areas of your mini house.

Can also assist in cooking at will, maybe everyday [but of course flexible]. So, free food for the maid, free transport to go to the market as the market is a bit far and tasking and also you are a free friend to the maid [still under 29 years of age, so you can still be a friend to the maid]. And the maid of course, stays in the neighbourhood may not be too far from your house just by walking distance. May not be much of the work of a maid but of a housekeeper, supporter, or just a friend helping you but will be paid/

How much will you recommend paying the person [maid] per month despite having the above advantages ?

Feel free to put figures.

Thanks as you reply.

What are three things your spouse/lover does that drive you up the wall?

some said...

The man I adore:

Does not keep his shoes in the closet, but in the family room. Why? Still trying to figure that one out. Periodically I collect them all, return them to the closet. They all end up back in the family room
Is always freakin’ right. And it really ticks me off
Turns the TV on before he gets up in the morning and does not turn it off until just before he falls asleep. I think it's background noise for him more than anything. He will turn it on and then leave the room! In which case I often turn it back off. Later he returns. “Hey, who turned off the TV?” He asks. “The cat doesn't like that show, I say. He grins, turns it back on, only to leave the room again.
Travel / How Do You Prove That You Are Married At The Embassy Without Doing Court Wedding by MercyLady3: 6:13pm On Sep 26, 2016
How do you prove that you are married at the embassy, without previously doing court wedding ?

Let us assume you did traditional and church wedding alone.

[[[ Can you get documents for doing traditional wedding alone ?? ]]]

If you plan to travel overseas as a couple (You and your spouse), what are the evidences that you are married according to most embassies procedures.

[You know you may need to present documents to show that you are married the same way you would present copies or originals of your BSc. certificate as a proof that you are a graduate]

What documents is enough, you acquired after marriage to follow up procedures you want to pursue in life? [Excluding court marriage]

You can share your experience or knowledge about it.

Thanks.
