Be certain to copy avits amentum in the email

AVITS amentum was introduced in the year 2024 , so if you say you have used the account or profile in securing your visa few years back then you are definitely writing about old profile.

You may elaborate by sending the screenshot of the page you are writing about. But i will recommend you open a new avits profile if the issue persist. Your profile can always be merged on request. 👍

I created a new account with my email in April, and I did not notice that I got the verification link because it went to spam. I only noticed the link after one week, and I could not verify that account because the link already expired. So, I got stuck. Here is a screenshot of what I was talking about

My Account has been showing USER INACTIVE.
My verification link expired before I got to see it, and I have been unable to access the account.

I had previously gotten my F1 visa approved through this same account a few years back, and later another visa category application, for which I didn't attend the interview. So, that makes two.

I need to get a visa to the U.S soon, and I have tried all sorts of things to get a new verification link. I have sent emails to nigeria@usvisaappt.com, I have reset my password many times, and even used the chat button on the website, all to no avail.

Since April!!

Has anyone been in this situation before? How did you resolve it, please? I really urgently need this account because I am meant to travel soon.

University of Ibadan has once again proven to be the first and best as her students clinch 27 out of 38 prizes at the Nigerian Law School -2020 Call to Bar Ceremonies today, 15th of September, 2020.
This has come after the school was ranked best in Nigeria and top 500 in the world by Times Higher Education (THE) 2020.

Out of 5 first class graduates, 3 were from University of Ibadan.
The school also produced the OVERALL BEST STUDENT, OVERALL BEST MALE AND OVERALL BEST FEMALE respectively.

Among the 27 prizes clinched, some of them are:

No fewer than 241 graduates of Nigeria’s oldest citadel of learning, University of Ibadan (UI), have been awarded with First Class degree in the 2017/2018 academic session.

Professor Abel Olayinka, UI’s Vice Chancellor disclosed that the Faculty of Science had the highest number of First Class at 46, followed by the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry with 38 and the Faculty of Technology with 27.


The breakdown of graduates for the 2017/2018 session showed 1,966 students had Second Class Upper (Division), 4,206, Second Class Lower (Division), 625 Third Class, 82 Pass and 310 unclassified. The 71st Convocation ceremony will witness a total churning out of 7,430 students.


He said, “A further breakdown of the graduating list shows that 3.38 percent and 27.61 percent of our students finished with First Class and Second Class Upper (Division) Honours, respectively. A special recognition must be given to one of our students who finished with a perfect Cumulative Grade Point Average of 7.0. She is Ofure Mary Ebhomielen of the Department of Computer Science”.

Miss Ofure Mary Ebhomielen of the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science was the cynosure of all eyes on Tuesday as she was presented as the best graduating student at the 2019 Convocation ceremony.

Ebhomielen, who graduated with the highest Cumulative Grade Point Average, CGPA of 7.0 received a thunderous ovation when she was presented to parents and well-wishers at the ceremony.

In her valedictory speech, enjoined the class of 2018 to strive for excellence as they began another journey in life.

Olayinka in his remarks said, “Ofure Mary Ebhomielen is the fourth person ever to have obtained perfect Cummulative Grade Point Average (7.0 out of 7.0) in the 71-year history of the University of Ibadan and the first female. This is worth celebrating and we are indeed very proud of her. The world is now under your feet, Mary, aim for the skies while we keep celebrating you.”
