The American Government should also come and help traditional worshippers as both christians and Muslims are persecutging us. Traditional worshippers are being persecuted in Kwara State by Muslims as we are not allowed to carry out our festivals. While in other part of the country our shrines are being destroyed by pastors in the name of deliverance. Christians calls us unprintable names. In Nollywood it is only traditional doctors that are evil as these christians producers want the public to perceived us evil and as a result many nigerians can't identify themselves as traditional worshippers while thier pastors are portrayed as the good one in Nollywood movies. The Government only made funds availakble for Christians and Muslims pilgrims and Nothing for traditionalist who wish to go to festival in Brazil and other foriegn who respect their traditional religion. Nigeria Government also build National Mosque and Church and non for traditionalists the real owner of the land. I want to use this opportunity to call on the United States Government and the international community to come to the aid of traditionalists in Nigeria. We are suffering persecution from foreign religion and no one is speaking for us
Our Demands
Nigerians Nollywood movie Producers stop painting us as evil in Nollywood movies. Indians, Chinese don't paint their traditional worshippers bad foreign religion good in their movies it only in Nigeria it happens.
Religion is a personal and private affair in United States and sane countries but Nigeria Government said they have too much money that they don't know what to do with it. They have been sending christians and Muslims to pilgrims they should include traditional worshippers.
Nigeria have National Mosque and Church but no National traditional center for the real owners of the land

OP, yesterday i saw one on my way to work.

As i was walking, something suddenly start making way under my gaze. When i viewed down, i saw a very tiny snake but very long, i panicked with fear!

The funniest thing about this is that, the snake was also trying to run too away from me when we sighted eachother. But thank God i didn't step on it.

It eventually ran and hid under a gutter. And that is a place i usually walk past at dark hours(early in the mornings) without a torch.

Now i see the reason one elder always tell me to walk with torch in the dark, even if its a tared road!

I know many of us here wrote the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) many years ago.

Despite all the family responsibilities and life’s distractions now, I believe I can still sit for Mathematics and pass without any revision even though I wrote my WAEC back in 2000 at Ogedengbe commercial high school ilesha.

So, over to you Which WAEC subject do you think you can still write today and pass successfully without revising?

“My Mother Failed Me” — 24-year-old woman opens up about years of manipulation, neglect and betrayal
A 24-year-old Nigerian woman, identified as Oladosu Ola Jumoke, has gone viral after sharing a heartbreaking story about her childhood & the emotional trauma she endured — particularly at the hands of her mother.

In a lengthy video shared online, Ola described her mother as “a narcissist, a manipulator, & a woman who failed me.” She said she decided to speak up after years of silence, not out of hate, but out of a need for healing & truth.

According to her, her parents divorced in 2015 when she was just 14. Her father, a trader based in Ibadan, lost everything after customs seized his goods, plunging the family into financial hardship. Her mother, a nurse, left him & moved away with her other children, leaving Ola behind because she was still on scholarship at the time.

When she later joined her mother & siblings, things took a painful turn. Ola said her mother was in a relationship with a wealthy man who barely supported them, yet constantly pressured her & her sister to “use what they had” to bring in money.

At just 15, Ola says she witnessed disturbing things — from her mother comparing her and her sister to other girls who “had boyfriends that gave them money,” to encouraging behavior that no child should be pressured into.

By 17, Ola said she was introduced to an older man, 20 years her age, who eventually began a relationship with her — allegedly with her mother’s full knowledge and approval.

“She even knelt down and begged me to accept him,” Ola recalled tearfully. “She said he would take care of us & sponsor my education.”
Ola said she later moved to Ibadan with the man, hoping to find her father again. But what awaited her was abuse.
“He would beat me, even when I was pregnant,” she said. “When I told my mom, she asked me what I did to provoke him and told me to calm down.”

She said her mother manipulated her father into believing she had “run away with a man for money,” cutting her off from him for years.
Eventually, tired and broken, Ola ab*rted her pregnancy, reached out to her father — who forgave her & took her in.
