How can some unknown trouble making entity like meshpips say that he can use volume to "pa idan" (do wonders in the market), what effrontery to even dare to make such a bold statement.

I like the humour bro! On a more serious note, the first thing to do as a Trader is to KNOW the CHARACTER of your enemy.

The more of it you know, the easier the battle becomes.

There is absolutely nothing different between a synthetic instrument and a currency, commodity, metal or creepto market instrument.

Once and if I can get the OHLC and volume data for different time periods, I can trade it and very effectively so.

I often laugh at people that say "my strategy only works for EU" what a joke! Anyway, we all are at varying levels in our journey as traders and truly, we all are built to function differently. I have put in over 16 years of my life in this thing. If the whole world hears not my name in this industry, I would have lived an unfulfilling life.

Many things are veiled/cloaked behind VOLUME. You all saw the seeming "bearish engulfing" candle fail but I could see the true picture as I checked it under the "lights of VAP".

I have carefully re-checked. Price has formed a market structure low on H1.
That bearish engulfing candle is pseudo. It's actual (volume adjusted) closing price is actually HIGHER than that of the bullish candle before it.
To the person looking at only price vs time, you are seeing a BEARISH ENGULFING candle.

The erudite trader that uses VAP says otherwise. This is a clean - pristine clear BUY!!!!
This real time example underscores the fact the PRICE IS NOTHING WITHOUT VOLUME!!!!

When I started out with synthetics trading on Kwakol, the very first thing I did was to "loosely" analyze which instruments I will trade.
I found out that the 200's are much more volatile than the 100's. If you noticed since I have been posting, I've never made mention of any of the 200's.

About sending people to the village, I've been there and have come back (no jokes). Power100 has an ADR of just about 142 pips (that's about same with GU or slightly less than that of UJ @ 158 pips ADR).

People have very funny opinions about synthetics but have NEVER tried it out to gain first hand knowledge. I will never condemn something that I have not tried by myself.

That broker is where every trader should run to.
Like I said, they are the only A-book broker in this country at the moment.
An A-book broker routes your orders directly to the liquidity provider/interbank. They have absolutely no reason to want you to lose your money so that it can become theirs (like B-book brokers).
I think everyone should take advantage of this broker.

So this one trade decided to fall my hand this weekend.

The party ended early!

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange states clearly that the previous day's VWAP is a reference point for any trade-able instrument.
I have extended that to include volume POC and of course my VAP^TM

Price came dangerously close to my sell limit but did not touch it then it dropped to yesterday's VAP @ 56.79 demand level.

Price to VAP and then contest previous day's high (in this case) is a usual play seen across many asset classes.

With the above stated reasons and in anticipation of price contesting yesterday's high, I have placed a BUY at 56.80

I would delete the previous sell limit and expect price to make a go at the supreme H4 VAP supply at 57.35

Let's see how this plays out.

The new day has begun, I am looking at selling within the 56.94 - 57.25 band or region.

The better price is usually preferable by me.

NOTE: I am trading this weekend with just $10.70
ADR for P100 (short for POWER100) is 142 pips
So trading with just $10.70 gives me about 100 negative pips to implosion.

Now that the risk parameter has been clearly stated, let's see whether we can make a few bucks this weekend.

A sell limit has been placed on the proximal end of the supply region at 57.17

VAP supply actually shows 57.25 but I want to be in early.

it is weekend again and it's time for your ever so educative and interactive edition of "Synthetic Trading With Meshpips"

As we approach May 29 where we expect POWER to change hands, I am beginning to pick interest in POWER plays. This thus informs my decision to trade POWER100 for this weekend.

I have worked with two brokerages in the past, they will always talk about NET DEPOSIT (that is deposit - withdrawals).
This broker is not like that, the country managers trade and withdraw. I have seen one of them withdraw over 800k usd.

Did you take your time assimilate what he wrote? He is talking about sustainability and growth. I could remember when we started , we will fund our account with $20 and go all in and will be making $100 just in one position. And the market will steal all in our next positions. Is a very terrible way of trading, no investor in this world will be willing to invest in you if u ever tell him that you are making more than 50% of your capital within 2 month, they are much interested in sustainability cuz the mother market is brutal.

I accept the fact that there is no universally accepted formula towards trading, do your tin and don't counter people rudely, be polite with your response, it will take you far. Did you know that 90% of traders loose their money with the first 3 months of trading? I have lost 2*$200k account this year, I have equally passed $300k this year, is a vicious cycle. The most important thing is to follow the process and you will see how the money will keep flowing. VAP has shown an INFLEXION point in the just concluded hour.

I expect buyers to show their hand.

Note: For those who think maths cannot be applied to trading, if you made an A1 in maths and cannot apply it to real time problems, you truly did not get an education.

INFLEXION POINT: when you double differentiate and the answer equals zero. This is an inflexion point.
If your double differential (2nd derivative) is NEGATIVE price is at the TOP
When the 2nd differential is NEGATIVE price is at the BOTTOM.

Whilst I do not apply any form of calculus in my VAP computation, generating a best fit curve and double differentiating at the close of each period was my initial ideation of how to make money from the financial market using mathematics as young 19 or 20 year old boy.
