The past two days showed clear DISTRIBUTION as price maintained a tight range doing just 62 and 65 pips on Monday and Tuesday respectively. The usual ADR for UJ is 158 pips.

This morning, we have a fake out to the up side maybe trapping buyers or kicking out weak sellers.

After the fake out, I saw three m30 bars that did over 90% of the usual average hourly volume. All the candles had bearish bodies, the high volume shows institutional participation.

Then came the news and we saw the mark down which also doubled as the breakout from the range box. That's when I took the 80 pips profit.

If we had a breakout (more correctly put BREAK-DOWN) from a range box, we ought to expect a retest of the broken support which should become a turncoat resistance.

This gave me the opportunity to enter fresh sell trades as shown below.

Earlier today, I gave my recommendation concerning USDJPY.

The first trade hit SL and I updated us. I also state that I re-entered the trade.

Took 80 pips profit on the first leg down but there's more . . .

Often times, I hear traders place so much emphasis on using a stop loss. I am of the opinion that position sizing is also an effective risk management tool.
Use 0.10 lot size for every $10,000 and your stop loss can be 100 pips away.
If for any reason the stop loss gets taken out, you will lose 1% of your account.
I really do not think that would be an unbearable loss. Or is it?
Now, you can become even more conservative and use only half the lot size per 10k usd.
All that's left is to have a win rate that is greater than 50% and you will be just fine

Yes boss. I see that too.. That's why an instant buy isn't advisable. The 50ema has acted as a resistant twice and it may push the price back. But I don't expect it to push price to a new lower low. I will gladly take the loss if that happens
