RabbiDoracle: Godisfaithful,
Dow breaking below 20K. Your $60m bet don set.
Brent breaking below 27. Seen at 24+
Traders seem to be pricing in global recession.
I am expecting a reversal in this Month of March. This will not be V shaped anymore o.
Buyers of stock in NSE should not chase prices. Always bid at the offers.
Been very busy. By the end of this week, we would have seen the bottom for a few market instruments in the global financial market. Let me wait until market closes for this week so I can ascertain which ones fall into this category. Great fortune await us! |

meshpips: . . .
Here are my thoughts about the stocks you requested.
1. FBNH: yet to touch support at 3.35
I don't think we can see anything interesting on it until after it has touched or breached that level.
2. UBA : demand channel is in place on this pair but I won't feel comfortable taking any buy side trade until after it has touched 3.14 or slightly lower. It is important to state here that the quarterly swing high at 10.56 which was breached to the upside suggests a bullish impulsive move. The current sell can terminate at the uptrend line but preferably the support at 3.14
3. ETI: There is almost no sight of volume activity going on for this stock on the yearly chart BUT a look at the quarterly chart reveals that price is almost at the lower extreme of the supply channel. This might make some buyers begin to get interested.
The charts are posted below. Kindly note that I didn't have to stress myself carrying out volume computations for any of the 3 stocks because their Price - Time analysis haven't revealed anything interesting.
Cheers! Just by way of a reminder. I spoke concerning FBNH and UBA many months ago and gave price levels at which buy trades can be considered. I might look stupid but please take very seriously the things I post. Enjoy the new week everyone. NOTE: I made those recommendations as at August 18, 2019 |

Many times I hear people say that technical analysis cannot work for the Nigerian stock exchange yet many of the oyinbos that trade our exchange use TA extensively. One of the foremost technical analyst for equities in Nigeria who also is a chartered stockbroker was trained by Trevor Neil a few years ago. His career took a new turn from that point onwards. Just incase anyone would like to check out who Trevor is, here is a link: https://www.technicalanalyst.co.uk/trainer/trevor-neil/Let's always remember that the most expensive stock on our exchange is far less than $5 or $6 which is very cheap as compared with say US equities. All the best guys! |

Here's the yearly chart I used for GTB's analysis back then.
The third touch of the demand trendline which happens to be in confluence with the 2015 closing price is the lowest possible I see GTB doing for this year 2020.
That should be the 16.XX price handle I spoke about earlier.
In my opinion anywhere from 19.4X - 16.XX is an excellent buy for GTB.
From that entry, the first target will be around 40 or 41.XX price handle.

Godisfaithful: Goldman Sach already predicted the end of bull market and expect Dow Jones @21,700 even below. I was just reading about their outlook now. So there’s more fire on the mount. Zenith @9, GT @11 below, Stanbic @12. Just follow the money since you’re not Warren Buffet. The dip is going to get dipper There is an untested support level for GT around 16.XX if I still remember (I have uninstalled the software from my computer). Any buy at 19.4X or slightly lower for GT is very very good. I ain't sure it will trade below that 16.XX handle. All the best everyone! |

meshpips: I guess this exercise will show the importance of using volume as an additional variable before making our trading decision.
Note my previous trade recommendation (using ONLY price).
Now, I have done the volume analytics using the YEARLY charts from 2009 - 2019.
My recommendation has changed!
Recommendation: Buy at 19.42 or slightly lower.
What appears as 27.02 on the price chart has a TRUE VALUE of 19.42
Don't buy at 27.02 rather wait for its TRUE PRICE of 19.42 before buying. This day I bring this post to your remebrance. If anyone still doubts the potency of the Volume Adjusted Price model, there is nothing else I can do to convince you. @NorthEastern and my other friend that called me a "demented jackhead" I hope we learn from this. All the best guys! Back into my shell I go! |

Godisfaithful: It might go below that. I trade options and someone just loaded almost $67+ million options on SP 500 falling to 2200. Just watch Dow Jones @ 20,000 sooner than expected People place orders for different reasons. Nor be everybody wey dey waka fast for road get business meeting to catch. Some na belle dey worry them. meshpips: I prefer 1.2977
Reason: re-test of the back side of a previously broken trend line on H1 and lies in confluence with an untested horizontal resistance. The trade drew down a bit. I wasn't satisfied with the entry so I closed for a very small profit.

PIPnator10: EURCAD..
Will be watching the area in black box for a break-out or drop. Whether a resistance is building up there is confusing. CADJPY/CADCHF is falling and this one too is showing signs of falling too. #Interesting. EURCAD Sold already. Trade is now running risk free.

saxy4c:
Entries are always very important for me, you have to get in at a point that 30-50pips can protect for GN,GA,GJ. Funnily it's GU I don't really like, wastes my time before it behaves itself. But good trade plan, handle a comfortable limit for trade lot size, trade frequency and maximum trade exits and you'd just be heaping pips upon pips that you'd convert to money in no time. You better come learn how to do am from me. No take shame chop winsh o! If you like precision on entry, look no further . . . |

saxy4c: When stray dogs come around with flies all around from infestation, know that they are looking for who to infect with rabies. I've said it severally that it's too easy to come and post charts and results here, most people that do just that have a cynical agenda. I took a trade earlier, saw a good opportunity for we all to reenter and then probably answer questions on why to take such trades. But rabid dogs won't just stay away. All I would say is for those who don't know, there is always past seasons to learn about the individuals here. Be careful. Young man, what you are doing on this thread is what I have done over 6 years ago in earlier seasons. I have given trades before the fact, taken them on a LIVE account and show the results thereafter. Not for just one day but for at least one month. Go and ask the older guys to give you lessons in history concerning this thread and you go know who you suppose dey respect! Small boy with inefficient entries dey follow me make mouth. Nor be your fault. |
