TravelRe: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Mesico2(m): 12:50pm On May 09, 2019
depoty22:
I think SA embassy will grant you a visa for the short course, All you should do is to register with the organisation and maybe you should make part payment of the course and also ask them for supporting documents you will use to secure your visa.

Don't forget to ask if they do offer refund in case your visa is not granted.

Wish you all the best.

Good afternoon, please I'll appreciate to get some information/idea from you about SA Visa waiting periods. I applied since on the 25th of March and I was given 15 working days at the VFS for Visa waiting period but up til now there's no news from them. Please what could the problem be in why the Visa processing takes this long? Thanks in anticipation of your response.

it is true, this plice station is next to david mark fathers house and also close to one popular round about.
Closer to Eupi round-about. I encourage many of you to travel down to Otukpo then you will know D.Mark is an animal in human skin. Where his foster mum lives at Hausa Quarters is another sorry case. He's the owner of any reasonable property in that town. If am lying please take your time to visit Otukpo then you'll know better.

Thank you very much for your kind words. I simply say it as it is as someone only interested in the progress of Nigeria and self-made to the extent I don't need anything from anyone and will therefore never need to compromise myself, my principles and dedication to Nigeria gaining good leadership that will transform our Country and make her great. I had said before the election that I would leave once Buhari wins but I will revise that opinion now because some of you have shown me that the job is not done. We must keep the incoming government on their feet. Nigeria has turned the corner and we expect great things from the Buhari Government otherwise we will begin speaking up for what we want to see. For me, it is about Nigeria always.
Thank you very much. The fact you decided to revise your decision is a big hope for folks like me. I've always been a silent and gentle reader here and I will remain so to be able to learn much about life/politics from you. Your WORDS are blessed!
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Should Stand Tall And Lead PDP by Mesico2(m): 11:33am On Apr 08, 2015
Gbawe:
@Topic.

GEJ cannot lead anyone because he is not a leader himself. He is an 'accident' who stumbled into the Presidency. I said it here that GEJ would be the last accidental President Nigeria would have and I have being proven right. The days of OBJ et al imposing dull and unknown 'mumus' on Nigerians is over . Now it is political gladiators and leaders who really want it who will gain the Presidency after besting others on the field of battle. Those asking GEJ to now stand tall to lead the PDP simply do not understand that GEJ is a very simple and small-minded individual who is entirely about his own ambition and nothing else.

In fact after May 29th not much will be heard of GEJ again. He will simply become another Odili by retiring to the background to spend his loot. The PDP will have to look, if any remain, towards its strong and sagacious characters to lead what will be a very difficult rebuilding period for the Party where it went from the ruling Party of Nigeria, with majority in all legislative houses, to an opposition Party with no majority in any legislative house and in control of far fewer Nigerian States than was the case when the Party was at the heights of its power. In fact, I think the PDP is now effectively a regional Party strong only in the SE and SS. This will never be enough to relaunch it towards the centre or towards political relevance and might.

Senior Gbawe, please I just want to use this opportunity to beg you with all the sincerity in my heart not to leave Nairaland. Folks like me learn much daily from you and as a matter of fact, I only come here always to read your comments and your opinions and to God be the glory, you have never disappointed me. There are few like you here who I learn from but I will always be your no1 invicible student on Nairaland. Please together with Berem, don't leave Nairaland. Thanks in advance for your consideration over my plea. God bless you always

israel007: Wow. Where in otukpo are you. Heard the Central Mosque was affected and som Christian homes as well.

On my way to tkp now. Landed in abj and proceeding to otukpo.

I'll post pictures soon.
I'm in Kanas lane/ Lagos street. And yes, some part of the mosque is affected and the chief of hausa's house is burnt down and other two houses along the federal road that belongs to the hausas. I wish u safe journey bro
PoliticsRe: Fight Between Christains And Musliims In Otukpo Benue State by Mesico2(m): 12:37pm On Dec 23, 2013
Benzino100: Made a couple of calls just now....it's true.
Heard it started as traders from Otukpo main market tried to stop Abokis from sampling their wares on de road, blocking traffic n stopping buyers from entering the market,
about 3 houses n de mosque were torched......... Plus 2 Abokis killed. Curfew is in place now, Soldiers deployed.
God help us!
You are half true bro. It was not even beside mosque the goats were kept. According to a reliable source: The goats seller went to report/bribe the loval govt men about the Abokis selling goat around new nyanya motor park along federal road to stop them from selling goats cos they don't pay revenue and they're spoiling their business cos they're selling it cheaper compare to the prices of the locales. So the local govt people came to pack their goats and that's how the riot/trouble started and the police came to appease to the abokis but they insisted they must return their goats from the local govt people. And the police men left but not up to like 30min the vigilante just came with their van given to them by the local govt and started spraying guns at people directly. 2 hausa boys died at the spot and when their bullets got finished so they started running back before the hausa pursue them with stones and the likes. It was the death of the two boys that made the hausa and some idoma and yoruba men and other tribes living together at the hausa community to vent their anger on the govt by the road side and started burning tires on the road and stops vehicles from passing thru the road. Then some minutes after 5pm, the vigilante returned with the help of idoma bad boys and their elders and started the gun shots again and people started running for their lives. And then venture to burn chief of hausa's houses and burn the central mosque and some houses that belongs to muslims. Meanwhile, if you must know, there are 3 big churches along the federal road and closer to muslims area but no muslim near the churches or not even any member of the churches congregations cos they were all leaving their churches peacefully and walking freely to their respective homes when the muslim/hausa guys were burning on the road. So I don't know the motive behind the attack on mosque and houses that belong to muslims from the idoma boys. NB: I'm one of the victims cos a bullet graze my chest and I saw everything that happens all through out cos I'm living in the hausa quarters. The thing is, the idoma guys Bleep up and no any curfew going on.

ckkris: Northern Peoples Congress, NPC, now disguised as APC. Back to 1960, only that no one is yet playing the role the Sardauna, perhaps because the Middle Belt are no longer the servants of the born-to-rule. The Middle Belt will definitely vote with the SS, SE, & 50% of the SW. Saraki is now proving to be more Hausa/fulani than Yoruba. But how far can they push their luck? This is 2013, not 1803.
Bro which Middle Bet are u talking about? Please don't forget Kwara, Niger and Nasarawa are out of GEJ range now. And again think of Benue, the last election there, the total numbers of ACN & ANPP voters was much more than what PDP has. So please stop thinking GEJ will win MB.

masu: thanks bro for your response though still unrealistic yet i will help you out.

why not the yorubas impose a baba oloja on hausa Fulani that sell live stocks? why only the ibo dominated markets?

why did Fulani/kanuri bombers usualy bomb markets or business areas populated by ibos? why not the Yoruba tailors etc?

be sincere in answering me the questions, i tell you only then do we see the solution we are looking for in this country.

if david mark did a thing as u mentioned above he is a bigot for doing so, am not as silly as changing the goal post just bcus my brother is involved. u bring in david mark issue just to defend the indefensible that its a norm here in Nigeria. pls bro accept it once and for all that fashola has demonic intentions against the ibos and good yorubas has to stand against him on that.

remember today you are ontop and tomoro sure you will not be their again, and what if the ibos are there how do you want them to treat you? bible says "do to others (the good things) what you want them to do for you"
Noted. Pls where were u when the same Fashola deported, yorubas, fulanis, benins and others before? U even said u knew Fashola was going to go harder on igbos, now here's my question bro, was it ok then deporting others but not ok now when igbos got deported too? And again, pls where in benue are u from?

taharqa2: Now, now sm of d 'logic' been used on this thread is ASTONISHING even for Shameless HYPOCRITES like yaself. Did you just say 'it is our LAND, and nobody to drag it with us'? 'Land'?? This is a MARKET, not a land. It is an Economic/Business undataking by a group of person who have taken d risk of investing and have every right to protect those investments, by at d very least, feeling they hv sm control over the venture. This is not sm traditional heirloom (nee, 'Land') unda sm unknown, immutable 'traditional laws'. It is a built business; a MARKET... Tha stu.pid logic is akin to me rising up today with sm guys in Benin and rushing to d Aduwawa Cattle market at d outstricts of d City, and imposing a 'leader' on d Cattle owners/sellers there (who are mostly Hausa and Fulani) cos it 'our land' and they ought to obey our 'local laws'!!! Like that, right??......*bunchofdumbazzes*
Don't tell me u mean what u just typed "it's a MARKET and not LAND"? Na wa o

masu: i don't wana trade words with you but search your conscience if it tells you that fashola action is wrong why not condemn fashola .

by the way sir are you a Christian or muslim?
My choice of religion is meaningless here my brother. What am saying is when u find yourself in a peaceful environment that happen not to be your village and God is blessing u and your family, then all u should care about is your daily bread not dragging with the locals of which belong to them. There was a case of David Mark during the campaigns for 2011 elections when he threatened non-idomas in Otukpo of eviction simply because they turned against PDP. Then they let him do his wishes on his people and everybody move on with their lives. That's what understanding is all about. So igbos should respect their hosts for peace to reign. And again I still want to know which part of benue u are from.

masu: hHAHAHAHAHAHA guy pls don't ask me the question again, my dad and so many of my kins men fought the war along with Yoruba soldiers and they told us a lot that happens in the war front,

ask yourself why is it only black scorpion a Yoruba that said "he is going to shoot anything moving or whatever"
Abeggy make I hear word. Who be your dad that fought the civil war? So because your dad tell u his personal experience about the war now make u think yoruba hate igbo? What if your dad personally hate yorubas too and decided to poising the mind of u his kid? I also have a personal grudge against igbo cos my dad also lost his 3 storey up-stairs building located at no15 Bida street in Onitsha to the war and so? Tell me where u are from in Benue and I'll tell u my personal experience of igbos in that your same benue and how they hate us yoruba with their life.

now I can see it with my two eyes, so make I dey waka dey go b4 attack go com.

taharqa2: What 'law' are u talking about? A 'law' that imposes an individual over a Vast Majority? A 'law' made in d closets of d Asiwaju's political minions for thoroughly self-effacing reasons?.... HYPOCRITES!!! Was it not you, and yr fellow GOONS sm of whom hv already mis-commented on this thread, who have been making lots of NOISE about d 'Majority' winning in d last Govs Forum 'election' (19>16, blablabla), and how d 'majority' MUST always hv their ways 'in a decent society', etc. But now, it is entirely aright, even sexxy (in a tribalistic way) that a man is been forcefully IMPOSED over a Vast majority who hv rejected him, by a seemingly Overbearing State Govt, using Security agents to implement what is essentiali a political-cum-selfserving ACN election interests. It is ok if You chaps do it; it becomes an unimaginably terrible thing when others do it. BLADDI HYPOCRITES
Irrelevant comment. Local laws' issue is different from NGF palava bro. Beside, what majority are u talking about? Does being majority in the market make u the owner of the market? Were u guys in Lagos in the first instance to fight for post or do your trading peacefully? God bless u on our land and now u want to be dragging which belong to us from us. Pls and pls don't get it started

The rival APC have not propounded conspiracy theories, no mentioning of GEJ or PEJ, no media noise, no threat to tear down the country, no rain of curses on Jega, etc. The rival APC has simply gone to court.

Hopefully, the day the court or INEC decision will go against Tinubu's APC, Tinubu's e-warriors will accept their fate and seek judicial redress, rather than bore us with silly conspiracy theories and bringing in the names of the president or first lady into the matter
