DaddyYankee:
They should shoot any Ipob/flat head person on sight who wants to destroy Lagos, what happened in 2020 cannot be allowed to repeat itself. If Igbo people must protest, let them go to the east, their beloved Simon ekpa will welcome them.

It shall never be well with obi and his group of bitter Obidients undecided they should go and bomb there erosion villages.
We Yorubas are the number one tribalists in this country. What on earth has Igbo or Obi has to do with with matter on ground now??

Don’t be ridiculous.

The man came into power and said “I have to remove this subsidy that is costing us 10 billion dollars a year in borrowed funds. Things will be tight for a while, but we will enjoy the fruits of it in the coming years.”

So he has no intention of letting the country deteriorate, but to prosper. All he’s saying is “Give me some time to put this right!”

After all he’s not a magician.

Go to your father's compound in Abia to stage protest..
We don't want any protest in Yoruba territory.
Now run along kiddo.

What kind of magical ‘achievement’ are you expecting in one year, olodo?
He's barely been in power for one year and the country is like this? What happens if he spend four years?

You've been warned.. go and protest in Abia, Anambra, Enugu and likes, e no concern us.
The moment Igbos start trooping out to protest in South West, problem go dey.
And who do you think you are to "warn" anyone that want to protest peacefully in Lagos. Is Lagos your father's compound?

If Obi was at the helms of affairs you shameless Emilokan Zombies would have wasted no time in destroying the whole country.

Answer his question nah, shameless bastard.

LordIsaac:
So the IGP should encourage gathering in areas forbidden by a court of the republic...I see it as a desperate act to unleash the obidients' venom. But the State is proactive.
Where or what has Obidients got to do with this matter? Need you still be told how critical the state of the country is?

It is the duty of the police to simply curb any unlawful acts during the protests. That should be their aim.

Things have gone past political groups or sentiments now!
Politics / Re: 'Take It Back' Movement Lists 8 Locations For August 1 Protests by MetalJigsaw(m): 10:49am On Jul 31
DeLaRue:
I am in a South West state for an assignment.

There is zero talk of protests here. People are mostly not interested.

I think there's more protest talk going on online that in the real world.

Abuja, and some states will have a few protests here and there, but in many states, it will be mostly business as usual.

People underestimate how much an average citizen fear the ruthlessness of Nigerian police and the armed forces in a riot scenario.

You might say it would be a peaceful protest, but once you gather with strangers you know nothing about, you'll not have a say in whether things remain peaceful or riotous.

All you need for things to go from good to bad is just one protester throwing a stone or object that lands on a Police man that draws blood. Another exasperated police may, in that instant, fire a live bullet, and in the process down one or 2 protesters. Then all hell breaks loose, in a flash.

It is not worth it. Stay away.

Of course when the planned protest emerges its likely to turn violent. This isn't incitement but a scientific analysis based the on circumstances. Hunger and desperation will fuel the urest.

Alot of the masses haven't been faring more than dead people in the first place.

What is this boko Haram superintendent saying?

Tinubu actually needs the old people's home not the people's support. He needs to be there so that he can be taken care of and his high level dementia can be worked on. Tinubu has no business being in aso rock, his staying there is so detrimental and disastrous to Nigerians.
God bless bro, you just spoke the whole truth.

China has a billion people, yet they are not blaming their population. The north is not backward because they are too populated, but it is because of leadership issues. That 12 children a singular northerner has is a big blessing if harnessed for farming and manufacturing. North has everything to develop themselves, except poor leadership and religious extremism.
You just spoke the whole truth my brother.

While they beat Japan
Ok. But both scenarios are very very unlikely, not to talk of happening at the same time.

They should prepare to come back home.

No valid points.....

1...once there will be leaders tagged to the protest...they will be invited to Aso rock. Is better it remains faceless, because everyone is in pepper ...

2. The protest will only be hijacked by hungry people, you might be surprised to see Army and Police men join the protest because it touched everyone

3. There is no time to give Tinubu who openly and graciously was part of the protest that removed Jonathan......why didn't he and others give Jonathan time

4. If Tinubu has spoken , shouted, and begged Buhari to give Nigerians good government, by now we would have pitied him, but SANE Nigerians believes he masterminded this Hunger from 2015.....lols

5. The protest should rather change Nigerians to think and reason like human beings rather than like animals in the next election so that we don't end up electing failures in Government....

6. What goes around, comes around.....the protest will be done exactly how APC did their own protest in 2014.....
God bless you for me because you are true son of the soil.
