sorry about the denial. I want to ask if you mastered what you filled in your d-160 properly. have you worked before? is your school accredited? my advice is this you can apply again if you get a date before August 8th but be prepared to answer what has changed in your application. do u have a scholarship? if you are working try and get study leave with pay from your organization. tell the vo more about your job and how it relates to the course you are going for and how you ,your organization and Nigeria would benefit from it. as you speak be passionate about it. if its difficult to get a date move it to spring. but my advice pray and fast. if you are a christain u kw what to do. wake up at night and settle it. be confident and bold pls. be rest assured that the person who denialed u wont interview u again. by the way what embassy did you go and wat window.

Devil you are a liar.

My Transcript is below; sorry it came late. A journey of about a year. I got all my documents ready including my landed properties in Abuja before the day of the interview.

I was the first person to get to the embassy. I got in, did all neccessay routine and was on the line waiting for the VO to come in, before others started coming in. I was praying let window 7 not show up as I heard she likes issuing the coloured papers. eventually a huge guy at window 6 came then called me.@7:30am. I was the first to be interviewed.

The angels were in charge becos I didnt perform as expected.

ME: Goodmorning my name is ******
VO: Goodmorning, pass me your I-20 and Passport.
VO: what school in Califonia
Me: Humboldt State University. * I also applied to Wayne, MTU, didnt complete the application for EIU and Wayne but he didnt ask which others I applied to.
Vo: Why are you going to HSU.
Me: my people I started talking rubbish as i didnt hear properly. i was busy talking about my job responsibilities and Vo cuts in and said ,did you get my question?

Vo: he rephrased again.

Me: I didnt even understand what he said but all that came out from my mouth was to pursue masters in Energy Technology and Policy with my major in Environmental Engineering Technology.

vo: What did you study in your Bachelors?
me: Chemical Engineering

Vo: How many countries have you been to?
Me: 3.
Vo: Can I see your old passport.
Me: yes and I gave him.
Vo: He flips through and said I can see an India visa here, then I cut in
Me: I was suppose to go for a conference to present a paper but I was choked up with office work so I couldnt make it.

Vo: Okay. So, What did you go and do in Malaysia

Me: Vacation *
Vo: were did you visit?
Me: My friend invited me, when I got my first job and I leaved in Sri gotton wata lama.

Vo: He cuts in again. Where did you visit.
Me : Now the shaking don increase, as its been long I travelled there. I now said the twin towers. Petronas and the skyfall where snow falls (its Man made snow). At least I remembered that one.

Vo: Are you married?
Me: yes

Vo: How ld you be sponsoring your studies?
Me: I have a scholarship as I was given a GA position. I was granted study leave with pay in my office as my salary would be running and my mom would be supporting me. * I forgot the landed properties becos of tension.

Vo: He checks my I-20 again and said but your scholarship is not written here.
Me: I said its in a seperate letter and Its attached it to the i-20.

Vo: He looks at it and nodded. Typed on the computer and said your visa is approved and gave me the two white sheets and said some tins about picking my passport.

Me: I Smiled said thank you and left.

My people help me thank God oh.

My people all I ld advice to others is be Genuine, Dont lie, Dont allow agents to fill your D-160 or any other form. Then cry to God HE listens.

I want to thank everyone on this thread. God bless you all. I learnt alot here. I cant mention names becos I wont stop writing.

cheap differs my dear. whats your budget fir hotel? when you arrive go to women development center in central Area. its un form of a hostel though they still have hotel dont go there. just ask of the hostel and go there. those days like 2011. 2012 it used to be 1500- 2000k but now economic wahala and the way people like money may be 3000k or 3500. when u arrive there no go dey do big man oh. tell them u need it just for a night. another option is kubwa at arab road sunrise hotel and there is another one after that but I cannot remember the name. you can get a nice room for 4500 to 6k.. if you must stay in kubwa that means if you interview is 7:30am u must leave the hotel 6:30am. but if it is central area u can leave the house 7:00am or 7:15am. and just pick a drop #300 to the embassy. but if kubwa u ll spend like #500 to the embassy but if drop e go be #1500. i hope this helps

Thats very good. Hope what was given to you is same with what I pasted. The issue of Obsterics Days fee is not so clear to me, but the normal delivery fee make sense too much.

I contacted the hospital through the phone and spoke to the finiance departmnet that gave me the quote for delivery. I gave them my email and it was sent to me. As for Dr lee I used google search for OBGN/GYN in Riverside Califonia and got him. He has a relationship with parkview hospital still. I got his number and called for appointment and correspondence, a lady picked I guess the secretary and we started exchanging mails, they initially told me $2000 dollars but later gave a discount of $1700 upon request. I hope this is clear. I got a Nigeria Dr from the hospital but e wan use bill kill me na I run. The good thing about the hospital and Dr is no payment until arrival.

sorry for the denial. Book another date if you can. Then this time you have to make the VO know that you are an intending student.

1. you dont need to say your dad's friend introduced you to the international officer. yes you can say he told you about the school, then on your own you went through google search engine and got all info about the school and contacted the admission officer in the person of ...... and filed your application.

2. why did you choose this school. pls forget about ratio, ranking, whether is cheap or not. talk more on the course curriculum as it suits your interest and if possible relate it or link it to how it will benefit you in proferring solutions to the challenges nigeria is facing today when you come back. Search for an organization in nigeria that is in line with what you are going to study and tell them when you come back that is where you would want to work.

Please this is an overview try to be succint in your speech and pray very hard.

One question they ll ask you is what has changed in your profile, so be prepared to answer that.
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 9 by methodjim: 8:12am On Jun 30, 2016
well, in your case I think you only need letter of sponsorship and consent from your mom. you ll need to write this by your self. the bank does not issue letter of sponsorship or consent. the bank only issues letter of reference. if your mom is working get her payslip and be sure its the same account she is using as her salary account. if you are working too get all required documents too. if u are not working u dont need to show yours. I hope this helps. It is well

it seems most of the sucessful transcript shared are majorly from Lagos. Are people running away from Abuja VO's? or......
TravelRe: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 9 by methodjim: 7:49am On Jun 30, 2016
I think thats fine, in as much as u have the consent of the other signatory and letter of consent from your sponsor. I hope the account is boyant enough? if your sponsor is working you can plead for his payslip and go with it but if its business plead for the required documents. sucess on your visa
