@ op ,why don't you get the service of a quantity surveyor/cost engineer instead of seeking for a free cost advice which is usually not going to be correct eventually.
Its like being being penny wise,pound foolish in my honest opinion.
Atleast you got an architect to design for you,do the same to get a QS for the cost.People should desist from trying to cut corners here.
If I may ask you,why don't you come here to ask for a free design from people too,my point is nobody will waste his or her time in giving you an accurate respond you need because they will spend their time is doing some calculations to get the feedback you required.
Don't take this the wrong way please,am just be truthful to you.
Please do the needful and people here should quit such behaviour henceforth cos you aint helping the profession.
You all are making seem Qs are not relevant in little building projects but only needed in big projects which of which reverse is the case.Qs are needed in all projects.

I used YouTube for listening for like a month then I decided to scrap it cos it just didn't feel right to me. So I went online searching for Cambridge eBook. I found the recent one I.e the Cambridge IELTS 11 here

For Reading I will advise to practise with Academic reading first its more difficult than GT but it helped me a lot. You can get the Academic version of Cambridge IELTS here

For writing I used an ebook posted on this thread long ago. Ryan T Higgins wrote the book. He's on YouTube also as IELTS Ryan. He has a blog. You can screenshot his essays on ur phone to read at ur convinence.

For the speaking I used YouTube all through from IELTS channel to IELTS Liz and also this lady Emma 'Learn English with Emma' that should be her channel name and other random videos.
I was interviewed by a Nigerian and I made d mistake of misinterpreting Capital punishment as Corporal Punishment , I talked fast cos I was nervous.. (I hate being interviewed), I stopped talking at a time rather than being stopped which means I didn't spend all d minutes required. It just wasn't the perfect speaking test but thank God I got 7.5. I just want to put it out there to cancel the mindset that Nigerian interviewers are strict.

P.s read the instructions on the listening and reading test. I saw a woman blew away 68k by writing more than two words for ONE WORD answer section....68k jeez!

I can relate with this very well.

My story goes this way.
Met a very beautiful lady in a bus in 2009
Started asking her and she refused for till 2011.making about 3 years of stop calling my number again.

She finally succumbed to my calmness and cuteness late 2011.
We got married early 2013 and we are blessed with 2 beautiful kids now.

ideally, you should have the funds throughout the entire process (up to landing) as you may be required to provide updated POF at any point during the process. In my own case, even though it was my money, I needed to use it. So I waited until I saw that my POF had been been reviewed and officer was satisfied ( from GCMS notes - 5 months after AOR) before I started spending...still a calculated risk. I'll have to pull it back together before landing as I've heard of people being asked for POF at the airport.

i will like more insight info regarding the POF ( proof of fund ) when you are submitting your application to cic.
do i still need to leave amount showed on my bank statement untouched after i must have submitted my application cic?
for how long should this amount remain in my account before i can start taking out money from there?

please i need your honest opinion because i intend getting some cash from friends to make up the required amount needed and i wouldn't wanna just leave people hard earned cash in my account ,especially not at this point of economy meltdown.

Application and issuance of change of names on passports have been decentralised. She can do it anywhere in Nigeria, in an immigration office of course.

For the passport issue, get someone in immigration office (immigration officer)in Abuja to send your wife's details to,he/she will process it,that takes like 2 to 3days,then she will then travel to Abuja for capturing,after capturing it takes a week for the passport to be ready.I hope this will help.

Has she changed her name on all other documents? If no, then she can just renew her passport with her maiden name (that's if you don't mind)

You can create your profile if, as the principal applicant, you have written your IELTS and evaluated your academic qualifications. The truth is that without your wife's IELTS, your CRS score will be low to get ITA. However, as you will need Express Entry profile number for some PNP applications, then, I don't see any harm in creating an EE profile.

You won't need your wife's International Passport until you are required to submit your application to IRCC or for PNP application. I will however advise you get it sorted out ASAP.

Her passport has expired ,which means she can't take the IELTS .
She needs to have a change in name reflected in her new passport (the expired passport bears her maiden name).I learnt this takes quite some time to effect.
The is a newpaper publication on change of name though( done about 3 yrs ago)
My fear lies on how long it will take to hav the passport ready.She is due to visit the passport office tomorrow.
Please what's your take on based on these said.

1.There should be a considerable difference in temperature when you touch the hoses which acts as coolant exit hose and coolant entry hose after a while of driving.
2. Your fan should kick on and off intermittently. 3. Your coolant temperature gauge should gain a rise in level after a while driving. However, it should NOT rise to the RED mark/zone.
4. After all is said in 1,2 and 3, your car shouldn't experience overheating.


Bypassing your radiator fan to work continuously is a very bad practice. Anyone who attempt that on your car pls shoot his/her hands.

The manufacturer of your car intentionally configured the radiator fan to work intermittently so as to ensure the temperature of the engine rises to a defined range at which the engine operates at its MAXIMUM EFFICIENCY and EFFECTIVENESS which inturn brings about lower fuel consumption, less stress which inturn give greater LONGIVETY of ENGINE.

Bypassing the radiator fan defeats the purpose It makes the engine operate at a cooler temperature which stresses the engine and causes premature wear and slow death of that engine. I don't wanna go into the details. Because I've spoken on this topic many times.
